Chapters 105. Forgive Past Mistakes.

As Liora said, today she will meet Khendrik with Kenan. Although heavy, Liora must be able to fight her trauma for her good.

"Darling, are you sure of your decision?" asked Kenan with a worried tone. He was still afraid that his wife would experience bad things if she met his father.

"I'm sure, Kenan." Liora said seriously. He looked at Kenan with a look of confidence.

"All right, let's go." Kenan took over the food that was in the hands of his wife. Liora purposely cooked herself for her father-in-law. He completely forgot what Khendrik had done to him.

After traveling for 1 hour, Kenan and Liora finally reached the police station. Before entering the detention center, Liora took a breath first to strengthen her heart and mental state.

Kenan clasped Liora's ice-cold hand. Kenan knew for sure Liora was very nervous, so she did not want to let go of her grasp. "A ready? We're going in now?" asked Kenan in a very soft voice.

Liora nodded with a smile, she re-mas the hand of Kenan. The two of them went straight inside to meet Khendrik who was in the holding cell. After asking permission from the police officer, and asking for about 1 hour to see Khendrik, they finally could immediately meet him.

Khendrik looked at Liora who was bowing her head before him. They were sitting in a special room to visit the prisoners. Khendrik's gaze was never separated from the beautiful woman who had stopped in his heart, but now he was his daughter-in-law.

Kenan who saw it had to hold back his anger, honestly there was still his wife's unwillingness in the face by the father. But how else, they have agreed to forget the past.

"How is my future grandchild?" tanya Khendrik broke the silence between them. Questions directed to Liora.

Liora ventured to raise her head then looked at Khendrik with a frightened look. "D-he's fine P-pa." Liora answered in a stammering manner, calling Khendrik papa.

Khendrik and Kenan were both stunned to hear Liora calling Khendrik papa. Inwardly, Kenan was delighted that Liora had tried to make peace with the past.

Khendrik smiled bitterly when he heard Liora's words, but deep down in his heart. Khendrik also felt happy when Liora was able to accept herself as his father-in-law.

"Good, you two should take care of my future grandchildren so that he is always healthy," Khendrik looked at Liora and Kenan in turn.

"Papa take it easy, I'll take care of my wife and son for 24 hours." Kenan smiled proudly at Khendrik, and managed to get a pinch from his wife. "Aw! Sick, Honey!" Kenan rubbed his thigh which had just been pinched by Liora.

"Just take care of me for 24 hours. What are you not doing!"

"Work from home can, baby."

"Can't! So the boss has to set a good example for your employees."

"But-"

"Khem!" Khendrik interrupted Kenan's speech. He felt neglected to see the couple arguing. But somehow his heart warmed up when he saw Kenan and Liora like that. This means that their family relationships are very harmonious.

Khendrik hopes his son's household does not seem like the fate of his household with Maura. Now Khendrik is very sorry for what he did. Maura now belongs to someone else. Worse, he was his own personal assistant.

There was no hope for Khendrik to return to Maura. He could only pray for Maura's happiness with Niko. Because Khendrik is convinced that Niko is a responsible and loyal man. Actually, Khendrik had known about Niko's feelings for Maura, but he pretended not to know. Hence Khendrik orders Niko to take care of her work abroad, so that Niko does not disturb her household.

"Sorry, Pa. This please eat. I was cooking at home." Liora who realized her mistake had ignored her in-laws, immediately apologized. Then he gave her what he had brought from home.

"Thank you, why did you bother. I used to be very ja-"

"Don't go on, Pa. I Please! Let's forget the past. We start everything from zero." Liora cut Khendrik's speech. He did not want to hear what Khendrik would say.

"I'm sorry, I, Liora. I'm really guilty, and I'm also very sorry." Khendrik lowered his head, without feeling his tears dripping down his hands that felt on the table.

"Pa! I've forgiven Papa. As long as Papa wants to change. I'm sure Papa wasn't that bad. It's just circumstances that make Papa do things that are not commendable," said Liora said wisely. He could see the regret Khendrik felt.

"Why are you so good, Liora. Even I am so embarrassed to come face to face with you."

"Pa, now I'm Papa's son-in-law. Let's just say I'm Papa's son, and I've also adopted Papa like my own Papa."

"Thank you, Liora. I promise I will change into a better person, and thank you for accepting me as your in-law."

"Sama-sama. So from now on we start from zero again." Liora smiled looking at Khendrik.

"Yes, son." Khendrik also smiled and wiped away his tears. He no longer spoke formally to Liora.

Kenan who saw that felt moved. He was proud of Liora who was already magnified, and was willing to forgive his papa. Kenan clasped Liora's hand and smiled at her.

Liora looked at Kenan with a strange look. He refocused on Khendrik, and the food he had opened earlier. Liora attentively brought rice to Khendrik complete with side dishes that served on the container.

"Eat, Pa." Liora thrust out the container she had already filled with rice and side dishes.

Khendrik received the rice happily, then ate it voraciously. Khendrik offered Kenan and Liora a meal. But they refused, so Khendrik only ate alone.

After a long conversation, Liora and Kenan finally decided to go home. Liora came out from inside the police station feeling something different. It was like being free from a burden that had long squeezed his heart. He is happy to be at peace with the past.

"Dear, thank you for forgiving Papa." Kenan hugged Liora's body while she was in the car.

"It's my job to forgive Papa's mistakes. I'm sure Papa's a good man."

"Yes, Honey. The cup! The cup! Cups!" Kenan kissed the top of Liora's head repeatedly.

They hugged for a long time in the car. They both feel relieved, because they are free from mistakes in the past.
