Happy Reading 🥰
Early in the morning, Niko had arrived at Khendrik's residence to meet his superior's wife.
Geck! Geck! Geck!
Because there was no response from the host. Niko chose to sit in the chair in front of the house. Maybe because it was too early in the morning Maura had not woken up from her sleep. Niko was too excited to meet Maura, so she did not realize she was coming when the sun had not yet risen.
Inside the room, Maura was disturbed by the sound of alarms waking her up. Maura quickly got up from the bed when she remembered that Niko would come to see her today. He spent 30 minutes finishing the ritual and getting ready.
Maura opened the door of the house, she was surprised when she saw Niko sitting in front of the house. "Look! Have you been there long?" maura asked with a full glance.
"Not too long, Mom."
"Why not knock on the door, or call my phone?"
"So, I've knocked on the door, but maybe you're still resting. I don't dare interrupt your break, ma'am."
"Sorry to keep you waiting. Come on, come on in." Maura opens the door, bringing Niko inside the house. She wants to talk to her husband's personal assistant.
"So soon, I'll get you a drink." Maura headed to the kitchen to get a drink. Niko simply nodded and did not refuse to bring drinks. Coincidentally he was thirsty, after waking up Niko only drank a little, even he had not had breakfast.
"Please on munim, Niko." Maura put one glass of orange juice on the table in the living room.
"Thank you, Mom. Oiya there is a need what mother called me? What can I help you with?" Niko asks to the point, because it is not usual for his boss' wife to invite him to speak with four eyes.
Maura breathed a heavy breath. Her chest again felt tight when remembering her goal of calling Niko home, to take care of her divorce with Khendrik.
"You know what happened to my husband. I don't want to continue to bond with such barbaric men. Please take care of my divorce with Khendrik. I want after the trial of the crime that Khendrik committed, me and Khendrik are officially divorced."
Niko was very surprised by Maura's request of her. Didn't Maura love Khendrik so much? Then why would he want to divorce her just because of that case? Niko was confused as to how.
"Sorry, Mom. Are you sure you want a divorce with Mr. Khendrik?"
"I'm so sure, Niko."
"Didn't you love Mr. Khendrik so much?"
"I do love him, but I don't want to be constantly stupid just out of love. I believed him so much that even when he lied I believed."
Niko was only a good listener for Maura, not wanting to interrupt her words. He wanted to listen to Maura's complaint. Maura continued her words.
"I've given Khendrik a chance to change, but he wasted that opportunity. Now there is no second chance, let alone not just one crime that Khendrik committed. Never mind Niko, you won't understand how I feel. You better take care of the divorce."
"Good, Mom. I'll do it as soon as possible." Niko finally complies with Maura's wishes. That's right what Maura said. He would not understand what Maura was feeling.
"One more. Please find a house for me, because I will move out of this house. Only you can help me with what I need and I want, Niko. I don't want to trouble Kenan."
Again Niko was made dumbfounded by Maura's orders. After wanting a divorce from Khendrik, he would now also leave the house. Niko was really made dizzy. But, Maura's decision was correct according to him. Come to think of it no wife would ever want to hang out with a criminal husband.
"I want a house that is not too far from the house of my future daughter-in-law. After Kenan gets married, he will stay at Liora's house. So I want to keep close to them."
"Why don't you just stay with them, Mom?"
"No, Niko. Let them live their home life in their own way without any interference. I don't want to have a dispute between her mother-in-law and her daughter-in-law."
"Your heart is very good. Lucky Kenan had a mother like you." Niko blatantly praised Maura. This was the first time he praised his superior wife.
Niko did admire Maura's excellent figure. If he had not married Khendrik, Niko would have married him. "Gosh, what am I thinking? No Niko! Maura's mother is still Khendrik's legal wife. You can't have such thoughts." Niko murmured inwardly.
"Every parent would want their child to live happily together with his partner." Maura smiled gently towards Niko. Making Niko's heart ripple again after 26 years he closed the heart.
"Then I say goodbye, Mom. I'll do the job you gave me."
"Wait, Niko!"
"Yes, what's wrong, ma'am?" Niko stopped her steps while she was in the doorway.
"Em, have you had breakfast?" maura asked doubtfully. I don't know why he wanted to ask that.
"Already, Mom." Coinciding with that, Niko's stomach rang indicating she was indeed hungry.
Crfk ... Crfk ...
Niko's face flushed in embarrassment. His stomach cannot be compromised, it could sound at the wrong time. Where she just lied to Maura again.
As much as she could, Maura held back the urge to laugh. Hearing Niko's stomach sounding very loud. "Sit down, I'll cook. We'll eat together later." Maura headed straight to the kitchen to cook the food.
Niko could not refuse orders from Maura, she sat back in the living room. The corner of his lips was interested in displaying a thin smile.
Aw!
Hearing the screams from the kitchen, Niko reflex ran after Maura. He was afraid something would happen to his wife.
"Maura Ma!" Niko was so anxious to see Maura's reddened hands.
Just as Maura boiled water, her hands were splashed with hot water. Until his hands were flushed causing excruciating pain. "Shhh! Hot, Niko."
Niko pulled Maura's wrist, taking her to the sink. Letting Maura's hand splash with water so that the heat disappears.
Niko blowing-nipple tanga Maura. I don't know why Niko was that brave. If Khendrik knew for sure he would be furious to see his wife held by another man. But Niko seemed not to care about Khendrik's anger later. Khendrik is still in prison, Niko thought.
