The past part two

While letting go of his best friend's hand, he looked at Lisa to find out if she was lying to him or not. But unfortunately, Lisa who is very good at acting sad and full of guilt makes Mentari into his trap.

"Jhon couldn't have done that same lo, Lis. Are you lying to me?" Speak Mentari with a vibrating tone of voice. "Say! Lo again prank me right, Lis. The child in your stomach is not the son of Jhonatan, right?" Urge Mentari while staring at the face of his best friend.

Lisa sighed heavily, she shook her head then said in a tone of voice that sounded very pitiful. "Serious cave, Tar. The child in my womb is now the son of Jhonatan. If you don't believe me, we can check into the hospital.... " Lisa's words were stuck in the throat when Mentari opened her mouth again.

"Lo lied. I don't believe the same words, you. Jho can't possibly betray me, he loves me so much. Hurry up and tell me this is all a lie, Lisa. Say." Mentari's tears began to fall down his cheeks. His hands clenched firmly withstanding the pain that was in his heart.

"Well, if you don't believe me, I still have proof of my record with John." Lisa pulls out her phone, then she turns on a recording containing a conversation between herself and a man. "Listen." Said Lisa while giving her phone to Mentari.

With a feeling of remorse, Mentari began to listen to the contents of the recording.

*Jhon, what do you want?*

*why? Did we come here to stay and do nothing?*

*But... What if I'm pregnant? And what if Mentari finds out? He's gonna hate me so much, Jhon.*

*No, and don't get caught, baby. Come on, we should have some fun.... *

Mentari immediately rose from his seat, his tears were getting louder, the voice of the man in the recording was the voice of his lover Jhon. How could John betray him with his best friend?

Without saying a word, Mentari immediately left Lisa carrying a deep wound.

Mentari kept his legs moving regardless of the screams of his best friend. Mentari continued to walk out of the cafe, he did not even care about the weather at that time which was raining and lightning.

Meanwhile, in the cafe, Lisa was involved in smiling. He feels victorious and can remove Mentari from the life of Jhon.

"So whatever you have will be mine. Including Jhon." Lisa muttered as she grabbed her drink and sipped slowly. "Gue should thank Toni for her voice so similar to Jhon's. My plan is smooth. And I can separate Mentari and Jhon. Ah glad my heart." Lisa muttered again with a happy laugh.

Since that incident, Mentari suddenly disappeared from the life of Jhon. No matter how many attempts Jhon made to find Mentari's existence, he was still unsuccessful. For two years he continued to search for his lover, but the result was nil, Mentari disappeared as in the swallow of the earth, he left no trace at all.

Meanwhile Lisa took advantage of the opportunity to approach Jhon, even Lisa has also taken the heart of Jhon's parents who happen to be friends with both parents. Lisa seized the opportunity to urge her parents to match her to Jhon.

Jhon continues to resist when his parents urge him to marry Lisa, Jhon does not like Lisa at all. In his heart is still the name of Mentari that he always misses.

Frustrated at not being able to find Mentari's whereabouts, Jhon decides to go abroad. Jhon busied himself with various jobs hoping that he could forget the figure of the beautiful woman. But unfortunately, he could not forget the beautiful woman at all, his heart always missed him, even every time he wanted to sleep, he had to stare at the Mentari photo in the gallery of his mobile phone.

The flashback

Jhon breathed heavily. It's been five years, but he still misses Mentari. His heart is still filled with the name Mentari. No one can replace the name Mentari in his heart including Lisa who is now his fiancee.

Jhon put the flat object back in his pants pocket, he smiled bitterly when remembering things that were very beautiful with his lover in the past. "Actually where did you go, Mentari? Why can't I find you?" Lirih Jhon while staring at the bright sky that afternoon. "Why did you leave me without saying a word, Mentari? What the hell happened to you?" Jhon again sighed heavily, some questions continued to envelop him.
