CHAPTER 03: CHILDHOOD FRIEND

"Hei Vera, do you like Indra?" Bayu started the conversation.

But hearing that, I was a little offended and started to stand up from my seat, saying, "I'm going upstairs to get some fresh air."

"I'm going upstairs, I think I need some fresh air too."

Apparently, the girl who ordered the orange juice also wanted to go upstairs to get some fresh air. The girl is Vera's childhood friend. He knew about Vera's nature. He seemed to want to see me out of pity for me who had been treated by Vera like that.

"You want to meet Indra? You seem to like ugly guys like him. Ahahaha! Oops..sorry." sneered Vera.

"Shut up, or I'll kill you!" reply the girl.

"Hahaha, don't be so scary. If you really like him, I can make him like you."

But the girl spoke nothing more, she ignored him and walked towards the stairs to climb up. The girl took a small lollipop out of her pocket, then enjoyed it while walking down the long stairs.

I, who was looking at the beautiful afternoon sky, was surprised by a beautiful girl who suddenly followed me here. I don't really understand the reason why he went up here either. Does he also want to see this enchanting afternoon sky?

By the time the girl walked up to me, I turned my body around while looking towards her beautiful eyes. The girl's eyes fascinated me with her beauty. Coupled with soft eyelashes around the eyelids. Indeed, his eyes were full of all the beauty in the universe.

Taking the lollipop out of his mouth, he asked me with a sharp look that made my heart beat, "So, do you really like Vera?"

"I honestly don't like it anymore. You might think I'm the one who hopes too high to get a girl like Vera. But I threw away that me."

The girl then walked towards me while again eating her lollipop again. He held the barrier fence and leaned against it, looking at the beautiful sunny afternoon sky.

Being attracted by that perfection, I drew closer to him and leaned against the barrier fence that coincided with being next to him.

"Hey, I forgot what your name is. Can I find out what your name is?" The girl asked.

"Indra Christian's. That's my name. If you can tell, what's your name?"

"My name is Amanda Kirana. You can call me Kirana, even though many call me by name, Amanda."

"T-Thank you." Kirana was surprised while looking at me as well, she then continued her words, "To be honest I just came here to tell you about the bad nature of it. If I were you, I would no longer bear that attitude. But, you seem to know it already."

"Yes, I already know. I've been through a lot of suffering caused by the girls I love. Betrayal, infidelity, and more. Nobody cares about me. And, just this time I saw a girl who spoke sincerely and cared for me."

Kirana was a little surprised by what she had heard. All my words touched him with compassion.

"It's okay, after all, I do want to take revenge on Vera." exclaimed Kirana.

"You know, I've loved Ryan a long time. However, Vera easily snatched it away from me. Now, I'm ambitious to avenge both of them."

"In that case, I will help you to avenge you. That way, our relationship will be mutually beneficial."

"Looks, we've got to get down. Our drinks must have arrived." Kirana gave her advice.

"Okay, sorry. Your orange juice is spilled. Looks like you should have a drink with Indra deh." Vera responded to the drink spilled on Kirana's clothes.

"T-That's okay." she replied while holding back the anger.

I immediately picked up the two-branched straw lying on the table and put it in my orange juice, then walked up to Kirana while saying, "Drink this with me, I don't mind."

"But, is that a straw for a couple?"
