We all participated in the campus ospek activities. It just so happened that I was appointed as the representative of the Class Coordinator. After the class split. We sat on each other's benches.

            That day I started to know each other. My friends are increasing now, I'm happy to be able to mingle with my classmates. My friends in class also liked me because I'm basically the kind of funnier and funnier woman. There's always a joke, or just a joke together.

            I have a close friend. Lilis name, she was the first girl friend who from the beginning met and it turns out now she is my classmate. Our classes are going well and fun.

My lectures, papers, and exams have colored my days. But for a while I was in Surabaya I did not know much about Surabaya. Everyday my time is filled with college. Sometimes I also get involved in lecturer projects, counting adds to my experience.

I had to change all my habits since college. Start independent, do not behave arbitrarily, spoiled, and can no longer pick-the-own side dishes. I learned to get used to feeling good enough with all my supplies. I have to learn to try to strengthen myself that I have to be able to go through all of this. The shadow of my life strengthened my spirit again! Someone who used to make my days beautiful turned grim with tears. Someone who made me curse time, the meaning of love, even a name that betrayed the meaning of relationship. Someone who made me round college in Surabaya. So this is where my morning and night are in a much different atmosphere than my hometown of Bandung. I woke up and opened my window. Let the fragrant soil and morning air fill the chest. Fragrant shoots of spruce leaves, and flower beds in a colorful garden. The dew point of the morning refreshes the air.

The ringing calling from the phone surprised me.

“Kathleen, bangunnnn...” The voice of Lilis' phone sounded loud on my forehead.

“I've woken up from earlier, kok.” My answer.

“Then ontime yes.. I wait later in perpus.”

“OK.. abis shower I'm leaving soon. Wait there yes.”

“Hold not for long Kathleen... don't kayak daughter Solo.” Lilis cried while laughing.

I just smiled faintly. At first, I felt uneasy and doubtful whether I could start a new life away from the old man. And find a good friend who makes it easy to make friendships. It turns out my doubts are gone. My friends Lilis and Aunt Sarah were so warm and welcoming to me that I was comfortable and found a new family.

After showering, shampooing and changing clothes. I immediately rushed out of the room carrying my bag.

“Good morning, Auntie!” My voice greeted.

“Yuks... eat, Auntie has prepared breakfast, nih” Aunt Sarah offers. Two plates of warm sandwich bread are still steaming, appetizing at the dinner table. But Lilis' shadow with a waistline disturbed my concentration. My friend refused to wait more than 5 minutes. Although the stomach is quite full, in order to dispel the disappointment of Aunt Sarah who was waiting for me. I took the bread.

“Sisa bread I brought ya..Tan.” With a spoiled smile I asked Aunt Sarah for permission. “Lilis is waiting for me.”

“Ya no papa bring aja.” Answer aunt sarah nyengir.

“Thank you, Tan,” I tried to smile with my mouth fullness. And rushed to the campus.

My campus library is located on the 2nd Floor. Seeming from far away Lilis waved a hand greeting me.

“That donk ontime. Oia how is your proposal task, already??” Ask Lilis. “Tumben today is very beautiful.” Praise Lilis

“Still my dearuuu.” My heart was spoiled after hearing Lilis' praise. “My task is not yet done, so I want to find a reference book.” My answer.

Moments later, Lilis and I were busy looking for books in the library. Not long after I read the book. I feel like someone is approaching me.

“Hai.... been here long?” The voice of a classmate greeted me. Name's Ringga. He was one of the cool guys in my college. Tall and glasses. Full of charisma for a man.

“Emmm...hai.., just kok” Reply I blushed in shame. “Hmm... want to find a reference book too?” My toot.

“Iya nich... want to find some, but have met anyway.” Answer Ringga.

Suddenly from across the voice Lilis surprised me.

“Dorr…. Hayo you two together” Voice Lilis while smiling seductively at us.

“I see something strange.. Ringga comes nyamperin you, when there is me. Hmm, like the Ringga has a crush on you dech.''.

"Hello…. Kathleen Helloooo!!! I'm here!!” Lilis said, casting my eyes.

“Eh..eh..iya sorry, too engrossed to see him. Hehehe...” My reply grinned.

“Tuch.kan, surely you are also flabbergasted, eh wrong I mean fascinated with Lingga ya?” Tanya Lilis teased me.

“Ih...engga too, just a twinkle, he looks like howaaa. Different anyway” answered me with a smile.

“Cie..it looks like someone is starting to have a crush on nich.” Sahut Lilis's.

“Hmm... tell me not yes.. Secret.” My heart smiled as it passed leaving Lilis.

“Ih.g That's right now don't want to tell me the same story. Kathleen waituu.” Lilis is chasing me.

Yes that day for the second time the Ringga came near me. The first one he came to ask for my number. And from then on, he chatted me often, but like a regular friend, just chatting about campus activities. I smiled in my heart. The ringga is cute. Not a few of my classmates there who like it or sometimes compete to be a group with him. Not only charismatic he is also handsome. But I don't want to be too ambitious to approach him. Let everything flow as it is. Erik's shadow was present without being able to drive me out, even though the time travel has been more than a year.

“I'm sorry, Kathleen,” Erik said on the phone. “I can't keep my promise so we can live together. Mama's already betrothed me to another woman, the son of Mama's best friend. I can't refuse Mama's request, because Mama also has a history of heart. He's also stroke now. If until I refuse..” heard Erik's words slowly with a long sigh.

I turned my face. My eyes are hot, so tears come out so fast. Given Erik's explanation back then, ask for our relationship to end. Hearing his phone voice. It sounded like lightning, and my world seemed to fall. I loved her so much that she dumped me, there was no effort from her for our relationship to last. What kind of young man was Erik, who easily gave up so easily? I'm not just wailing and stripping. I was furious, feeling as long as it was just being lied to with its false promises.

“Now is not the time of Siti Nurbaya, Erik! If you want, you can reject it.”

“I can't hurt Mama, Kathleen. I am his only child. And Mama is also sick, I don't want Mama why-why.” Erik's voice tepekur. I knew it was a tough choice, even though Erik loved me so much. But he did not disobey his mother.

I took a deep breath when I remembered it. Apologies, any explanation; I cannot accept it. I've been together for years since I was in high school. I could not understand why it was so easy for Erik to leave me, and so easily he accepted a proposal to tie a promise with his mother's chosen woman. For months I cried, cried, and cried, until I lost weight.

The longer the withered spirit disappears; the passion for college, making friends and daily activities. The entertainment of my friends has helped to strengthen me. The offer of college from Aunt Sarah, my sister who lives in Surabaya I did not consider twice. And in Surabaya, I studied Accounting.

“Come!” Lilis's voice jerked my daydream. “Later in the afternoon you come with me yes, later I will take you to the City Park. Must've been exciting. Guaranteed!” Take Lilis.

That afternoon, everything went on as usual. I'm walking around the City Park. The Apsari Park. Many with young people who just sit to enjoy the atmosphere. Or just to play futsal near that park. Indeed the park is often used as a hangout, a fun place to get rid of fatigue.

“Eh, how's the Ringga? donk's story. I think he's deketin you again dech.” Lilis

“Emm. He often chats me. But about college aja.” My answer.

“Ser often??” Ask Lillis again.

“Lumayan.” Answer smiled.

“No papa sich if he again deketin you. You are single too, right?”

“Ya.. is not that easy either. I dated for 3 years. And all ran aground. Let it all flow first. I'm also not too ambitious to find Lis.” My answer.

“But... if if if the Ringga shoot you how?”

“Ya... depending sich. If he can make me fall in love again.” Answer me with a smile.  

“Hmm..it's the same with honey.” Obviously Lilis laughed softly.
