Episode 34

"Young master, your order has arrived" said Gerry.

"Put it down there!" michael's orders without turning his gaze.

Gerry's lavish dining box contains a variety of sushi and Michael's favorite sashimi. He placed the dining box on a glass table not far from Michael's desk.

"Drtts... Drtt...!"

Michael's phone vibrated, on the phone screen was the name of the woman he had been thinking about. At first Michael did not want to answer because he kept his prestige, but because his heart was stronger than his mind, Michael accidentally pressed the "answer" button on his phone screen.

"Call..."

The sound of a man's voice from Michael's cell phone, hearing the voice made Michael think that he did not. He was about to ask who the man who was wearing Rose's phone but he expressed his intention.

"I'm sorry, do you really know a woman named Rose?"

"Jederrr!"

Lightning seemed to grab Michael. The sentence that is usually mentioned when the owner of the phone is in an unpleasant condition makes Michael shudder in horror.

Feeling agitated and anxious, Michael waited for the next sentence that the person across the street would say.

"Tuttt Tuttt Tuttt!"

The phone connection suddenly disconnected, Michael tried to call Rose's phone but the number he was heading to was not active.

The inactive numbers made Michael even more anxious, with a panicked face he ordered Gerry to find out what had happened to Rose.

Gerry had read the news of the explosion of the plane to the city of H, he was grateful that Michael did not board the plane.

Flashbacks

"Find out which flight Rose's booked for tomorrow!" michael's orders.

A few minutes later Gerry said, "Boss, Miss Rose booked a plane ticket to City H with flight number XXX."

"Prepare the same plane ticket for me!" michael's orders again.

"Ready Boss!" answer Gerry.

Gerry called someone to book a plane ticket, but tickets with flight number XXX were sold out.

Gerry had a hard time looking for the ticket because everything was booked. Gerry even contacted some people who bought airline tickets to offer other tickets that are much more expensive just to get a ticket for Michael but unfortunately all Gerry offers were rejected.

Of course those people were interested in the offer from Gerry, but because they thought it was just a joke and prank from the con man, they immediately refused and hung up the phone.

Gerry who is not desperate to call the travel party, he asked to be notified immediately if there are tickets for the flight.

Luckily at night the travel party that was open for 24 hours immediately notified Gerry after passengers on behalf of Teddy Yunardi and Erna Widya canceled their flights.

...ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ...

"Boss..." Gerry put on a serious face that he often shows, but this time it was cooler and stern.

Michael looked at Gerry, waiting to hear what his assistant was going to say.

"Please calm down and listen to me until it's over" Gerry said.

"Just say it!" michael was impatient.

"The plane Miss Rose was riding on exploded this afternoon as it was about to take off" Gerry said quickly without punctuation.

Michael got up from his padded chair, he grabbed Gerry's collar, "You! What are you talking about now?"

Gerry was speechless accepting Michael's emotions that were vented to him.

Michael saw the TV remote located next to the lunchbox, he quickly opened a broadcast that always delivered the news directly from the scene.

Michael fell on the floor, his legs felt powerless, he grabbed his black hair with all his might. How painful and heartbroken it was to imagine Rose had been gone forever.

Michael cried out inwardly, he regretted what he had done this morning. He regretted being rude to Rose. He regretted having turned his face away from Rose who was staring at him from behind.

"Boss, please calm yourself. There's still something I have to report" Gerry said.

"I don't want to hear anything right now. Out!" snapped Michael.

"But..."

"Get out!" michael snaps Gerry's words.

"This is a report on Miss Rose" Gerry said quickly before Michael again snapped.

Michael turned to Gerry, looking at his assistant with watery eyes.

Without waiting for orders, Gerry continued the report he had just received from his subordinates.

"It's true Miss Rose booked a flight, but the strange thing is that she booked 48 tickets. Where at that time passenger seats are still available right amounted to 48 seats."

"You mean Rose booked all the remaining tickets?" ask Michael.

"Yes Boss, Miss Rose booked all the remaining flight tickets, so I had trouble booking the same flight for the boss.

But then there was a phone call that said two passenger seats were available because the passenger had cancelled their flight. That's why I can get a ticket for the boss at the last moment."

"Then, what exactly do you want to say?" ask Michael.

"This is just my personal judgment. I feel that Miss Rose deliberately booked all those tickets to prevent others from buying them. If my guess is correct, then Miss Rose should not have boarded that plane either!" answer Gerry.

"List of fatalities that became passengers of the plane."

The sound of the television broke the silence of a few seconds.

Michael stared intently at the television screen displaying the names of the victims.

"Ger.." call Michael.

"Yes boss." replied Gerry.

"Nothing" said Michael.

"...."

Gerry kept quiet and asked in his heart, what is 'nothing'?

Michael's face looked more excited, he stood up and then kissed Gerry's forehead, which is currently silent like a mannequin in a clothing store.

"There's no Rose's name in there!" cheers Michael with a cheerful face.

Michael called the airport and asked for a private jet flight to H within 1 hour.

Gerry who was still standing was immediately aware when he heard the sound of the office door being opened by Michael in a hurry.

Gerry followed Michael in half-running steps, he had enough difficulty to catch up to Michael's long footsteps.

Michael arrived at the airport faster due to speeding on the road. Gerry was busy preparing the documents while Michael sat down with a million thoughts running through his mind.

"Why did Rose buy all the remaining tickets?"

"Did Rose know if the plane was going to explode?"

"If Rose really knew from the beginning, how would she know???"
