Episode 94

A few minutes passed, not a word came out of Rose and Michael's lips. They drift in each other's minds, where Michael feels safe for having already made a marriage license with Rose. While Rose was uneasy because Michael did not look happy after their marriage in the eyes of the law.

"Excuse me, Miss Rose and Mr Michael?" ask a female officer.

"Right" Rose replied in a flat tone.

"This is the marriage book of Master and Miss, ah sorry, not Miss anymore but Madam. Mr and Mrs Hoffmann please sign here" said the female officer as she handed over 2 marriage books and a piece of paper.

Finished doing all the procedures, Michael and Rose walked towards the car. Rose glanced at Michael who was still tightly closing her lips, she was curious about the contents inside her husband's mind.

"Mike, what's wrong with you?" he asked unconsciously because he was too thoughtful.

Michael turned his head to the side, staring at Rose's illegible face. "I'm not pa pa pa. Why are you doing that?" ask Michael back.

"Because you look unhappy" Rose replied with a sad look on her face.

Rose's reply made Michael aware that he had made Rose misunderstand. He was happy to marry the woman he loved. But many problems they had to face in the future, making Michael unconsciously ignore Rose's feelings.

Michael removed the seatbelt he had just plugged, took Rose's palm and held it. Michael kissed the back of Rose's palm, he smiled and then kissed the forehead, cheeks and tiny lips of Rose who is now in front of his eyes.

"What are you thinking? Of course I'm happy, because now we're a married couple. Don't think no, let's go home."

The words from Michael could not calm the heart of Rose who was in the midst of anxiety. The woman still had questions in her heart, the reason why Michael had a cold and grim face after their marriage was registered.

Michael drives his car, he drives Rose home to the luxurious mansion that has been Rose's shelter since childhood. Upon arriving home, Michael got out of the car and opened the door for Rose. He reached out his hand with the intention of helping Rose get out of the car.

Rose looked at the palm extended by Michael in front of her, for a moment she felt hesitant to grab the man's hand. But, upon seeing Michael's smiling face amiable, Rose's heart grew weak. Rose reflexively received a helping hand from Michael. They walked together to the front door of the house.

"Ting Tong!"

Michael pressed the doorbell, minutes later Lily opened the door and emerged from behind the dark brown wooden door.

"Sister Rose, how long is it? Papa and Mama have arrived first." reprimanded Lily with a worried and anxious face.

"Uhm...!"

Rose did not know what to say to her sister. She glanced at Michael, asking the man next to her to answer Lily's question.

"So we had lunch and just got home!" michael answered well.

"Oh, that... Yes, we're in!" lily said while nodding.

"Rose, come!" pinta Mama Daisy when she saw Rose standing in front of the door.

Mama Daisy has heard stories about the grudge that Michael's family has against Rose's biological parents. He felt a little uneasy because he did not want his daughter to be the victim of the revenge that Michael was going to do.

"What's the matter Ma?" rose asked after sitting next to Mama Daisy.

"From now on, please stay away from Rose!" mama Daisy said in a serious tone, she looked at Michael's face with her eagle eyes.

Michael flinched, the smile on his face instantly disappeared upon hearing the words spoken by Mama Daisy. He looked into the woman's eyes and then asked her. "Why should I stay away from Rose?"

"You must have known the reason without me telling you" said Mama Daisy as she stood up from her seat.

Rose was about to say something, but Papa Hanz's hand immediately grabbed her arm. He told Rose to remain silent.

"To be honest, I don't want to ban your relationship, but I don't want Rose to be your revenge against her real father." Mama Daisy makes it clear why their relationship should end.

"I wouldn't do such a depraved thing." Michael denied with a cold face.

"Ma, sit down! Let's talk about it well" said Papa Hanz, trying to cool Mama Daisy's burning heart.

Mama Daisy obeyed Papa Hanz's words, she sat back beside Rose. Papa Hanz invited Michael to sit in front of him.

"We've heard all your brother's past stories from Teddy. As parents, we must be worried and filled with suspicious feelings towards you. Om sure you understand the meaning of the words Om wants to say." said Papa Hanz in a calm tone.

Michael of course understands, that's why he brought Rose to register their marriage secretly and did it as quickly as possible. Michael had expected that such a problem would occur, but he did not expect it to be this fast.

"Om, Auntie! I love Rose sincerely, I will never be bad to Rose just because of my grudge against the Yun Family. I swear, I never had the will to take revenge for my brother's death" Michael said.

Mama Daisy suddenly laughed, followed by Papa Hanz who smiled happily. "You heard for yourself, what Michael said. Papa is sure, Michael is not a man who will use women to avenge his personal life" Papa Hanz said as he patted Michael on the shoulder.

"What does all this mean?" michael asked with a confused face.

"Haha...!" Lily who was behind Michael immediately laughed.

"So, Mama and Papa were betting. If Brother Mike is forbidden to meet again with Sister Rose, what is the answer from Brother Mike." Lily explained everything while chuckling.

"Then? Who won?" ask Rose to wonder.

"Lily won!" papa Hanz's Sahut.

Papa Hanz thinks Michael is leaving and then secretly gets in touch with Rose. Mama Daisy says that Michael will leave Rose soon. Lily is the only person who is sure that Michael will explain everything immediately until he is accepted back by Papa and Mama.

Curious, Rose opened her voice. "So, what exactly is the grudge between Michael and Papa Teddy?"
