Chapters 90. Emergencies

For three days Khalisa worked as an OB. The widow berparas ayu was so excited though occasionally had to be faced with the fussiness of Afkar, he said, still not familiar with his workplace which is often visited by new people who are not known to Afkar namely LBH Raksa Gantari clients.

This afternoon, Afkar sulked differently than usual, wanted to continue to be carried and his appetite also decreased since morning.

Yudhis entered the empty room on the second floor of the office which Khalisa used as Afkar's resting place. He had just returned to the office after traveling with the King to take care of the work of other clients. In there, Khalisa was pounding Afkar while holding a bowl of toddler food ordered by Yudhis from Erika, worried about Afkar's health if every day lunch eat instant food toddler from the supermarket.

“Khal, have you eaten?”

“Numbered, Bang. Later, it's easy. I bribe Afkar first lunch,” sahutnya still cheerful though tired look from the trail of sweat on the forehead.

“Why are you sweating so?” Yudhis approached, bowing to observe Khalisa so closely, that Khalisa had to turn his face back.

“Oh, the. I've transported a few gallons from the front to the rooms. Last car water delivery came.”

“What! You transport gallons alone?” Yudhis was aghast with his forehead folded. “Where are the other OBs especially the male ones? Time must be women who haul?” his girlfriend looks angry.

“Nothing, Bang, I'm strong enough to lift the gallon. The two OBs were cleaning the toilet and the man was buying lunch. If the gallon water is left for a long time outside and exposed to direct sunlight, worried that the quality of the water is so bad, Bang,” he said remains excited, there is no tone of complaint in every strand of the word that Khalisa said.

Yudhis breathed a rough breath, not until the heart imagined the idol who was smaller than him, had to transport a gallon of water that was real weight when transported even men.

Afkar who whines distracts Yudhis from Khalisa's weary murat.

“Unfortunately Mother, let's open her mouth son, mamam first,” refer Khalisa to the baby who clenches his mouth tightly, not as usual.

“Afkar why, Khal?” yudhis was worried.

“From morning it is a bit fussy Bang, again difficult to eat as well. Maybe still not used to the new place,” said Khalisa who again tried to thrust a spoon into the front of Afkar's mouth.

His behavior collapsed as Erika's voice that was stirred in panic called out to him.

“Pak Yudish, we have to call an emergency right now, this is important.” Erika's tone of voice sounded precarious as did her facial water. “About Khalisa's lawsuit,” she continued, Erika has just returned from court.

“About my lawsuit? Can I come with me?” Khalisa menukas fast, but unfortunately Afkar whine more fussy than before.

“For now let us discuss. You take care of Afkar and don't do anything else before Afkar peters it down.”

Yudhis and Erika rushed to the room of Yudhis followed by the King, while Khalisa though wanted to join was forced to undo the intention because the baby was not supportive.

An hour later Yudhis returned to the resting place. Without a word, Yudhis took the bag containing Afkar's needs and pulled Khalisa's arm which was still holding Afkar towards the parking lot.

“Eh, what's up, Bang?” Khalisa asked while balancing the steps, but Yudhis did not reply.

Yudhis opened the car door. “Log in!” his word was short, his face seemed to not want to be denied.

“Where are we going? It's still working hours?”

“We go home.”

“Hah, why go home?”

Yudhis did not answer again, lowered Khalisa's shoulders and slightly forced Khalisa to sit in the passenger seat, then he followed up sitting in the steering wheel and darted away from there.
