SA Chapter 71 - The Grim Face

When Naina returns to her mother's room, Wilda's mother has woken up from sleep.

Smiling greeted the child who had just entered this room.

"Mom's up, I'm sorry Mom, I was gone" Naina said, taking a glass of water and handing it over to her.

"Ouch!" wilda's mother groaned, feeling pain in her chest until her smile disappeared.

"Mom, I'm calling the doctor?" naina asked anxiously, even about to rush away but quickly Wilda's mother held it.

"No need Nai, just a little pain, mother can still bear," replied Wilda's mother, she instead took a glass in Naina's hand about to drink.

But Naina did not give the glass, she helped the mother to gulp the water.

"I'm sorry Mom, I just left, I didn't keep looking after you here" Naina said.

"Sstt, don't talk like that Nai. I'm fine, I'm happy to see you move on like this. You know, you must have just met your husband, right?" avenged Wilda's mother, she tried to smile again and Naina helped her to lie down again.

"I'm sorry Mom."

"Don't keep apologizing" replied the mother.

Naina becomes moody herself, feeling guilty for her mother. Wilda's mother's surgery has been set to be scheduled for 4 more days. So while waiting for the health of Wilda's mother will remain monitored intensely.

"Nai, have you heard from your father?" ask Wilda's mother later.

A question that made the look on Naina's face immediately changed, if she felt guilty then now became angry.

"Why talk about that guy again Mom? mom is sick like this because of that badass guy, too" annoyed Naina.

"Nai, don't talk like that. He's your father, after all."

"No longer ma'am, he's gone to leave us. He broke all ties with us. So there's no need for us to talk anymore" Naina broke up.

Mother Wilda could only be silent to hear the anger of the child. It was only natural for Naina to place such hatred on her father.

"Mother don't apologize, don't feel like I'm suffering so much. No, ma'am, it's not like that. Now I'm happy, especially Nickolas who is with us" replied Naina.

"Do you know, brother Nickolas is the chief director of this hospital. He is the son of the owner of this hospital. So don't worry about anything, now our lives will improve" explained Naina.

Mother Wilda widened her eyes when she heard this, surprised by what the child said. "Major director?" asked mother Wilda and Naina nodded enthusiastically.

In front of her mother she prides herself on her husband.

"Don't joke you Nai."

"No, ma'am, I'm serious. Mom's daughter-in-law is a chief director, so don't worry about anything anymore. I need to heal so that we can live better" explained Naina.

He ventured to talk like this, even though he hadn't actually gotten the blessing of the Carter family.

"What do you want? I'll buy it without a second thought" Naina said.

"Want to wear a ring again? I'll buy it now" Naina said enthusiastically. She remembered that her mother had sold her ring for the extra cost of living.

And Wilda's mother hasn't had a chance to answer anything, but Naina's gone first with a big smile on her lips.

Before going to the jewelry store, Naina decided to find Ami's nurse first, so that someone was on standby to look after her mother.

But in one of the corridors she meets doctor Gracia. Naina instantly remembered that she should not bow to the woman.

While Gracia did not immediately look down to pay her respects, she wanted to see what Naina would do when the brand passed by like this.

And how surprised Gracia was, when she saw even the slightest Naina not bowing. Even raised his face straight.

"Naina," called Gracia, her mouth could not be held back from calling.
