SA Chapter 78 - Black Umbrella
"Had Nai, mother had rested quietly. Now let's go home," take Nickolas. He was holding a black umbrella to protect his wife from the hot sun this afternoon. Naina was not crying anymore but the sadness on her face was still clearly visible.
Naina's silence even hinted at immeasurable sadness. With his seemingly empty gaze he continued to stare towards the mother's tombstone.
In her heart Naina questioned to God what kind of lifeline she got in this world. After all the effort he did, even to sell his pride turned out the mother still could not be saved.
Long thought Naina then blamed herself, maybe the mother could not recover because all this time she gave him illegal money.
Naina almost fell so hard on her heart, but Nickolas quickly restrained her body.
"We go home now," Nickolas broke up, he took off the black umbrella in his hand and then carried the wife in front.
Mommy Aresha came crying to see the sight, she moved to take the black umbrella left by the child. Daddy Rayden then stroked his wife's back to stay strong when he saw the sadness of his children like this.
In the end they left the burial place, leaving with a wound in the heart that somehow he healed.
Naina cries on her husband's chest again, until Nickolas's shirt is wet with tears.
2 Cars left the cemetery, and they all headed to Nickolas' apartment.
Arriving in the basement of Nicholas' apartment was again carrying the wife to go up to his apartment unit. He did not let his wife walk by carrying all the grief herself.
Not only did Nickolas promise God to protect Naina, but he promised Mother Wilda that he would always protect her forever.
Nickolas just nodded and immediately took the wife into the room and laid Naina on the bed.
Out there Daddy Rayden stopped the wife who was about to go to the kitchen, he held Aresha's mom's arm until her step stopped. "I can't wait any longer, I don't want that woman to still enjoy her life when my son and my daughter-in-law suffer like this" Daddy Rayden said, intending that she would soon subdue Gracia. Don't want to let that woman still laugh at the suffering of her children.
Mom Aresha nodded, she even cried again when she remembered Naina's beating.
"You accompany the children here, I'm leaving now" said Daddy Rayden, hugging his wife first. Kissing the top of mom Aresha's head lovingly, also stroking her back gently.
They both did not expect that fate could change so quickly. They thought Mother Wilda would recover and be able to come together fully while welcoming happiness about the marriage of Nicholas and Naina.
But it turns out that fate they can never guess.
"Had, don't cry anymore" said Daddy Rayden, he broke his own embrace and wiped away the tears that ran down his wife's cheeks.
"You must be strong to strengthen the children."
"Yes Dad," replied Aresha obediently.
They hugged again before finally separating.
