Because he did not know what to do, Maurice had to slap his best friend's face.
Plaque!
Maura immediately fell asleep, seeing that Maurice was getting panicked, was he too tight to slap her?
Suddenly Maura woke up with a tense face, cold sweat drenching her forehead. He looked at Maurice with worry.
"What's up, May? What's going on?!" ask Maurice curious.
"Maurice, Kevin... Kevin's in danger!" his yell.
"Whatchu mean? Kevin is now in the room with Nala!" Maurice.
Maura did not care, she came out of her room and was followed by Maurice. Maurice was afraid that if they were found out, he tried to walk slowly so as not to be known by others.
In contrast to Maura, she galloped outwards without a care to wake people up. Maurice thinks Maura's going to Nala's room, but the other way around.
"May, where are you going?! It's night, danger!" maurice shouted in panic.
Maura ran towards the flower garden behind the house, when she got there she kept silent while staring at the nanar surrounding the garden area.
His gaze stopped on the tall figure behind the banana tree planted beside the garden, the figure wrapped in a shabby white cloth filled with traces of red soil. What we used to call the name, Pocong.
"What the hell is that?!" murmured Maura was afraid.
From earlier Maurice was behind him, clinging constantly to fear. He did not dare to look around the back of the house, especially near the flower garden. It is full of strange creatures with terrible figures.
They had heard the laughing sound of a female creature wearing a shabby white robe with long hair dangling to the ground, there was a large tall figure with long dreadlocks with long teeth and eyes glaring towards them.
And many more strange creatures that they saw, creatures that form very different from the jinn and demons that they saw in the US.
It's just that the creatures that are here are more terrible and scary, even though the ghosts just stay silent and watch them from a distance. It seemed like they were avoiding something, and did not dare to approach that area of the house.
"May, look at that! In the middle of the garden, is that Kevin and Nala?! What are they doing there? And what is it, near them? That's a lot, my God! A zombie!" Maurice and Maura are shocked to see there are many undead surrounding Kevin and Nala.
"Maurice, you wait for me here! Don't go anywhere, if something happens to me and the others get out of this house as soon as possible, don't try to contact anyone in this house, okay?!" maura said warning him.
"But, May .." he said fearfully.
Maura left Maurice alone behind the house with fear, and worry. At least Maurice is safe there.
Maura walks behind a grove of flowers that creep high, she sees some Zombies trying to get close to Kevin and Nala.
Both of them were unaware if it was followed by the Zombies and even now cornered in the middle of the flower garden, and around it full of zombies.
"Aakh!, help! Help me!" kevin shouted hysterically.
"She, quiet! The more you scream, the louder they get! Lower your voice or better be quiet!" nala rebukes him.
"But how can we get out of here?! If you don't ask people for help!" kevin panicked.
"Nobody heard your screams, wanted you to scream half-dead, no one would come to your aid" Nala said coldly.
Although he looked calm, he also felt a deep sense of fear. Usually he only heard the story of this flower garden zombie, but now he was in such a situation.
While the Zombies were getting closer to them, Nala again pulled Kevin's hand down and hid behind the bushes of the flowers.
"Are they really here? Are they also scattered around here, in this area?" kevin asked in a whisper.
"No, they just came to this house. And that is only at certain times" whispered Nala.
Suddenly there were two Zombies coming from the opposite direction towards them, the Zombies were just staring straight ahead so did not pay attention below it, when the two Zombies were already a long time away towards them, so they were not paying attention, suddenly the two were pulled back by something.
Kevin and Nala were startled and almost screamed, but their mouths were smothered by a small, soft hand.
"Sheel!" Maura gives a warning to remain silent, because he saw some zombies start to look violent because of the loss of their victims.
"Come, follow me. Slowly move it" Maura whispered.
They again crept in the opposite direction towards the back of the house, walking while squatting was tiring. So that Kevin had fallen because of slipping by something, he was shocked because what he stepped on was like a blackened blood flow, a foul smell that was so stinging to the nose made them rush away from there.
After he thought it was safe, they stood up from his place and looked back, miraculously the Zombies disappeared.
"It looks like the ritual is over." murmured Nala.
"The "ritual? What ritual?!" maura asked, apparently her murmur was heard by Maura.
"Who said that? There's nothing!" nala answered, pretending not to know.
They were startled by some shadows from behind the room on the upper floor, visible from behind the curtains because the room lights were left on.
Which they love, because they don't know whose room it is. Even asking Nala was also useless, because she also knew who it was.
"Ah, fuck! If I'm going to be punished for you, watch out!" nala's grumbling is upset.
"Why should you be punished?!" ask Kevin.
"Because it's against the taboo not to go out of the room or the house tonight, but look at me! Even busy taking care of people who do not know themselves" he said.
"Hey, watch her talk!" kevin said he did not accept it.
"Is there something wrong with my speech?! You as guests should follow the rules in this house. But you're hanging around, outside the house again!
Even you don't know what danger lurks you outside this house, I was forced to follow this careless child and try to save, but he repeatedly made us wretched" Nala said angrily.
"I'm sorry if this happens, but it's all because we don't know why. At least you guys explain so we know what the reason for all this is" said Maura trying to mediate.
"Make what? Will you believe it, or even mock our customs?! It's no use" Nala said again.
"That's better than nothing! At least we know what's going on, and I'm sorry if I bother you" said Kevin, looking regretful.
"That's it, don't talk about it! Soon after dawn, the workers will wake up. Do not let them find us here, let alone the same as him." said Nala, with all words full of questions asked in the head of Maura.
"What did he mean earlier, he always said strange words. Starting from the word Ritual, fear of being discovered by someone who is more frightening. But who was the person he was referring to??" murmured Maura.
They head towards Maurice who still looks frightened, as more and more strange creatures come from outside.
"Just calm down, they won't dare to enter the area around this house. It won't be" Nala said again.
They still saw some shadows standing behind the upstairs room, it seemed like those shadows were watching them.
They went back into the house and walked carefully to their room again, they tried to guess from which room the shadows had been.
After they entered and cleaned themselves in their room, they were still shrouded in fear. Both Kevin and Maurice were packing anxiously, getting ready to leave the house.
"This house is dangerous, May... Are you sure you'll stay here?" ask Maurice again.
"You don't want to, I have to stay until my fight is over" Muara said steadily.
Behind the other rooms, the shadows they saw were the elders of the house.
"It turns out they were brave too." murmured one of them.
