SECRET MAURA

SECRET MAURA
Season 2: (PNS) Attack of the Forbidden Forest

Late in the afternoon, Maura returns to her grandmother's house on the hill of their family's tea plantation. Before going home he stopped by the bookstore, because there was something he wanted to buy.

"Ah, I'm sorry I accidentally" a teenage girl accidentally bumped into him from behind.

"Oh, it's okay" Maura said kindly.

The girl just nodded then left the place, but after that Maura felt that there was something strange about the girl earlier.

"Let it go, maybe it's just my feelings" he murmured.

After finishing with his groceries, he headed to the angkot base that likes to go in front of the traditional market.

"Dec, want to go home? Yuk, the angkot is willing to leave again" bargained an angkot driver who was there.

"By, Mang" Maura replied.

Inside the angkot contained several passengers, one of whom was the girl who hit him earlier.

"It was so dark, I felt uncomfortable" Maura murmured inwardly.

The angkot began to walk towards the villages that he would pass as his route, a little more angkot it to his grandmother's village but suddenly the angkot suddenly broke down in the middle of the road.

"Oh, how's this Mang?" said a mother of angkot passengers.

"Sorry, Bik. The cargo broke down, don't know why? Though already full service this" grumbled angkot driver was upset with his own angkot.

"Yes, I just went home on foot" said the mothers.

"Well, isn't it still far from the village?" the angkot driver was astonished.

"Not too far, there is a shortcut to the village. I went through there" said the mothers getting ready to leave.

"Be careful, Bik. It's late afternoon." said the driver again.

"Yes, I am a native here will not be a reason" said the mother.

"You how? Want to wait or what? Because I want to check again the car, it will likely be long" said the driver asked the passenger.

"I'm here, Mang. Who knows, there will be other angkot passing by, because my village is still far away" said a young man.

"If I go home, Mang. I am one village with the mothers, excuse me" said the girl.

"If you how?" ask the driver to Maura.

"Emm, I came home not far from here. I live on a tea plantation hill" Maura replied.

"Tea plantation? Belonging to the Hartawijaya family? Wow, that big man" said the angkot driver staring in wonder at Maura.

"Yes, it's my grandmother's family" Maura said kindly.

"Oh, so. If you want, you can go home with the mothers and sisters earlier. You see, the road they pass will pass through your grandmother's house" said the driver.

"Oh, I see Mang" said Maura hesitated between wanting to follow or not.

"Yes, if you want to go there. Mumpung they are not far away, if you want to wait Mamang do not know this is the completion of when" said the driver.

"But I don't know where to go." replied Maura quietly.

"Oh, briefly. Deck, can you help him get down that path over there?" ask the driver to the young man.

"Good, Mang. Come on, brother" he said, judging from his physical and appearance he seems to be still in high school.

Maura followed him walking towards the path not far from the angkot car earlier, she looked deep inside like she was going through the forest later.

"Sorry, Brother. I can only get here" said the young man.

"It's okay, thank you well" said Maura kindly.

The good young man just took revenge nods and went towards the angkot earlier, with a sigh Maura walked down the path into the forest.

"Huft, I don't know what I'll see later in there" he murmured inwardly.

And sure enough, just a few steps he entered into the forest was a lot of interference there. Starting from the sound of people growling, the sound of people humming to the sound of laughter of children as well.

If you think using logic, whose child plays in the forest by the afternoon today. Moreover, this is quite far from the village.

"Enough with these voices alone, there are no apparitions. Pli!" scared mum.

Just now he was thinking like that, uh the dreaded one suddenly came beside him. An old grandmother walked over while holding on to a wooden stick, on her back was a collision of wooden twigs tied with a rope and then carried on her back.

Maura tried to ignore him, pretending not to know while continuing to look forward to walking down the path. There was the sound of the grandmother gasping for breath, she was limping around like exhaustion carrying quite a heavy load.

"He's human or not? If I see that it isn't, that's what I am. Will be pursued by him. If he is human, I am a man of inhumanity, letting the old man carry such a heavy item" Maura murmured inwardly.

She was worried about wanting to look next to him or not, her logic forbade her, but her heart wanted to help her.

"Based on young people, there is no heart and no feeling! Look at the old man struggling to carry this heavy stuff, no one wants to help at all!" said the grandmother was annoyed at Maura who ignored her.

"You want me to help nek-" how surprised Maura, it turns out that she thinks a human grandmother needs help but it's not.

"hihim! I thought you could hear and see us" came the hoarse, creepy voice of the smashed-faced grandmother.

Seeing that Maura immediately galloped away from the demonic grandmother, she turned her head back she was surprised the grandmother also caught up with her by running fast almost following her.

"Damn it, you know better I didn't just go" he said regretfully.

At the end of the road, Maura saw the mothers of the angkot passengers, Maura was happy to finally find a real person. When he looked back, the demon grandmother had no longer followed him.

"Thank God, I'm finally free of him too" murmured Maura in relief.

He half ran after the mother, a little more he walked suddenly his legs tripped by something that made him fall to the ground.

"Oh, it hurts. What the hell is this" he complained.

He saw a python walking in front of him, his body big enough to swallow a calf. But what does he see in his body and tail, which head?

"Geez!" he was surprised when his gaze went down the snake's body.

Suddenly something pulled her body, the teenage girl was hiding behind the bushes that were there.

"Sheel!" he gave Maura a code to keep quiet.

"Don't make a sound or move, he'll know" he whispered to Maura.

Maura just nodded, in fact he was not at all afraid of the creatures of the forest, even those creatures would be afraid of him if they knew who he was.

"I thought it was the mother who was in the angkot earlier" Maura whispered.

"I thought so before I saw his feet. Not the human legs but the snakes I saw!" whispered the girl again.

"Will he stay that way forever or what? This is soon magrib" said Maura annoyed.

Because the creature was silent blocking the road, making Maura and the teenage girl could not pass through. If they want to return they will be far away again, and could be met with other creatures.

As Maura and the girl quietly observed, suddenly the faces of the mothers appeared from behind the bushes startling her.

"Aakhs!" the girl shouted in surprise, then she fainted there.

"Well, wear all fainting. I'll take him how" Maura murmured.

After that he stared intently at the creature, there was a slight change in expression on the creature's face because seeing Maura was not afraid at all let alone fainting when he saw it.

"Sorry, let you down" Maura said after seeing the nosy genie's disappointed expression.

After that he beat back the genie in the form of a half-snake human, the creature was surprised to see Maura's resistance.

"Hi, son of man. Who the hell are you? Why aren't you surprised or scared when you see me, and... Where did your power come from? I don't seem to feel alien to that aura of yours" said the genie.

"I'm a nobody, I'm just an ordinary human child who happens to be able to see you and those nations like you" Maura replied.

"Has a matter of fact, I saw that she had an aura unlike any other human being" suddenly the demonic grandmother came out from behind the tree that was there.

He approached the demon genie earlier, he also put on a horrible face like with the demon genie earlier.

"You don't have to put on a face like that, it won't affect me. Go, don't block my steps, I want to hurry home. Later my grandmother will be angry if I am late" said Maura riled to see the two creatures.

"hihim! Interesting" said the snake demon genie while hissing like a snake.

He attacked Maura by wagging his tail, for Maura was on high alert so she could dodge the sudden attack earlier.

"Well, cheat yeah! Don't blame me if you regret it!" snapped Maura.

Maura closed her eyes for a while and then she opened her eyes slowly and stared intently at the two creatures, suddenly a strong wind hit the two creatures until it floated down to the ground.

They are surprised to see a human being able to make them fall like that, usually those who will see their form will certainly faint like the girl or run fast in fear.

"Behold you're a child, if you meet us again you will perish!" snapped at the demonic grandmother then suddenly went away like a snake demon genie just now.

Seeing that it was safe, Maura woke up the unconscious teenage girl.

"Damn! D-devil!" frightened screams.

"Hey, syut! Shut up, the demon's gone. Let's go home" Maura said as she helped the girl get up.

"But." the girl was still frightened while looking at all directions.

Maura pulled him out of the forest, and left the forest as well while receiving various gazes from all kinds of creatures in the forest.

They could only dare to see it from afar, for fear that later his fate would be the same as the snake demon genie or the demon grandmother earlier.
