Caroline stared at the screen of the smart tablet featuring Romy and Sandra's video. The woman did not expect. He gets a welcome news of the affair when his body just awakens from a coma that even he has not been aware of.
Since Romy and Sandra's affair, Caroline has been quieter. He did not understand why it felt like he already knew everything while watching the video. Only, Caroline could not remember when she saw that.
“They will get married tomorrow night. Romy's parents have forced her to take responsibility and apologized to you, honey.
Would you forgive them?” ask mom Caroline. As a mother, Caroline's mother knew very well how her daughter was feeling right now. Caroline and Romy's relationship is already in a serious stage. Unfortunately, just a few days after her marriage, Caroline had an accident and Romy's affair was finally exposed.
“I'm grateful to have an accident and a coma, Ma. Otherwise, surely I will be very sorry for marrying a traitor.” Caroline clenched her hands and promised inwardly not to regret their betrayal. She's not a weak woman who would cry for a man like Romy.
Mama Caroline nodded and encouraged Caroline to forget about Romy and be sure to get a better replacement.
Meanwhile, Arnold and Mazaya had just finished dinner, and had just entered the room. Arnold felt something different. Mazaya's cuisine this time is much more perfect than yesterday. Judging in terms of appearance to taste, this one is perfect but why does he feel foreign?
“You haven't cooked the funnel anymore?” arnold asked as soon as they were alone in the room.
Mazaya nodded and smiled, trying to cover up her nervousness. “Iya, I've started cooking normally. Wh why? Not good, huh?”
“Enak!” Arnold answered while nodding his head. “Sound is so.”
Mazaya was relieved to hear that. However, Arnold's countenance suddenly returned flat.
“I want to be honest with you, Mazaya. Do you want to hear something that might make you disappointed?”
Arnold's question certainly made Mazaya's heart pound very fast. What would Arnold say?
“Iya. Honesty is painful, but it's much better. Be honest about what?”
“This Caroline, ‘right? You know him?” mazaya asked still trying to calm down even though her heart was beating faster.
“You remember, I told you about the girl I liked in college?”
Mazaya frowned. Obviously he didn't know because he wasn't following Caroline. “Ke-why?”
“Actually Caroline was the girl I liked before marrying you,” Arnold explained blankly. He regretted his abiding attitude that let his feelings never be revealed. Therefore, he no longer wants to regret losing Mazaya who began to love him.
“So noon, I hallucinated seeing you and Caroline in a strange place. Ye know? I saw your body with Caroline's shadow, and your shadow again held Caroline's comatose hand.”
Arnold almost laughed as he said that. His imagination was so strange and unreasonable, making Arnold amused as he said it. Although strange, but he still wanted to tell Mazaya because Arnold wanted to start their relationship with honesty.
“You see I'm the same Caroline?” mazaya asked in astonishment. How could Arnold follow him without Raffaello knowing, and why would Arnold see his soul?
“Iya. My imagination is weird, ‘kan?”
Mazaya feels guilty about Arnold. After finding out Caroline's first love for her husband, Mazaya's heart became more worried. Raffaello once said that his girlfriend, Deriel, was still alive.
Should I be honest that what Arnold saw wasn't a hallucination? Is Arnold going to be mad? What if he's mad and he's making it hard for me to find Deriel?
