Chapter 47 ~ To Villa
Ayu turned her head to the side and smiled slightly, she knew what Farhan was thinking. "Are you thinking about martial arts skills, aren't you?"
"You're right" said the curious Farhan.
"I learned taekwondo when I was a kid" Ayu replied lightly making Farhan gawk in disbelief.
"What can't you do?" Ask Farhan.
"Secret." Answer the smiling Ayu.
"Ck, is it hard to just answer." Lirih Farhan quietly while grieving.
"You said something?" Saying Ayu who focuses on driving.
"No."
Before long the car stopped in front of the hospital, they got out of the car, and stepped inside. The doctor examined the wound on Farhan's left hand carefully and re-wrapped the wound using a bandage.
"The injury is not severe, fortunately the wound is immediately handled very well. I'll write down a prescription and you can make up for it" said the doctor who wrote some of the drugs for his patients.
"Thank you, Doc." Ayu smiled with relief when she heard the doctor's words. Ayu took the prescription medicine and said goodbye to leave the room. They left the hospital after taking the medicine, after they finished getting back in the car.
"Let me drive" Farhan bargained.
"Your hand just got on the bandage, just let me drive the car" Ayu said.
"It's just a small wound and it'll heal in a few days" said Farhan, who did not want to be denied. Ayu sighed and shook her head slowly.
"Just be up to you."
Farhan smiled and drove the car carefully. The atmosphere was quiet, only a few vehicles passed by. Ayu opened the car window and let the wind blow her face, the cold air made her mind feel calm. Every now and then Farhan steals a glance, seeing Ayu enjoying the atmosphere. Until Ayu realized that the road they passed was not to the Mansion. "Wait a minute, where are you taking me?" Ayu asked who was looking at Farhan with a serious look.
"To the Villa." Sahut Farhan is short.
"Don't joke, I'm so tired and want to rest."
"You take it easy, the villa is not far from here and you can rest."
"Yes.yes well, it's up to you. I'm so tired" lamented Ayu.
Farhan responded with a smile, he did not want to go back to the Mansion with the condition of the bandaged hands. Vienna must have asked about the wound and blamed Ayu for everything that happened to her. And the second reason, she can be alone with Ayu, spending time together. "This is my chance" inward Farhan.
It flashed through his mind to ask about the incident earlier and ask Ayu for an opinion. "What do you think of the fired chief secretary?" Farhan asked seriously.
"I felt sympathy for him, he did it because of circumstances. If I hadn't worked for your company, he wouldn't have done anything reckless. He likes you, the feeling of wanting to have made it dark to the eyes, encouraging him to commit an act of crime" explained Ayu who is not vengeful about Maudi's actions.
What Ayu revealed was completely different from what he thought, Farhan thought that Ayu would take revenge on Maudi and was overjoyed about the dismissal of the chief secretary. "She is a noble hearted woman" Farhan murmured inwardly.
"Hem, I'm impressed with what you said."
"I'm planning to step up for you, what do you think?" Farhan asked who turned his head with a glance and refocused on driving. Farhan did that when he found out the potential that the woman next to him had, in addition to having good skills, on the other hand he wanted to give Ayu a chance to get close to him.
"I don't want the post of chief secretary, you better leave it to someone better than me" Ayu declined, who lowered her voice.
"You have a lot of potential, I hope you accept it" Farhan said.
"I can't" said Ayu without looking.
"What's the reason?"
"That after more than two months, I will break this engagement and leave. We're just strangers and we're strangers." The words that came out of Ayu's mouth made Farhan's countenance turn unhappy.
"Why did he say that, he should have given this relationship a chance" the upset Farhan's inner self clenched his hand. Sontak Ayu was surprised when he accidentally saw the bandage turned red due to the blood seeping.
"What are you doing? The blood's back out, stop the car." Farhan braked the car abruptly, allowing the woman next to him to re-treat the wound on his left hand.
It did not take long, the wound was wrapped with a new bandage obtained from the hospital during the examination. "Let me drive it, you just take a break and give me directions." Said Ayu who took over the wheel.
"Hem." As Ayu said, after giving directions, she chose to fall asleep in the car.
Ayu saw Farhan's shady face falling asleep and refocused on driving, she sighed as the journey to Villa was very far away. "Basic of fraudsters, the location is very far but he said very close. If I turn around it will take a long time! Good thing my patience is layered like a wafer, if not? I must have strangled him." Ayu continued to grumble in annoyance while following the directions given by Farhan.
Farhan wriggled his body in agitation, sweat pouring down his forehead, dreaming of a little girl who saved him while locked up in a dark room. "Where do you think I miss you. Kira..Kira!" racau Farhan makes Ayu very curious.
"Why did he call Kira's name? Who her? Is that the name of her dead boyfriend? Maybe he's obsessed with it, so he can't forget it." A series of questions enveloped his mind, as he saw Farhan dreaming.
Farhan awakens from his dream, with a gasp of breath making Ayu a little worried.
"Are you okay?"
"I'm fine. Are we there yet?" Farhan asked in a raucous voice.
"We're here soon."
Before long, the car stopped at a villa. Ayu was very happy, it meant that she could rest in peace. Stretching his muscles are stiff due to driving the car too long. "Finally, is this the right location?" Ask Ayu who made sure.
"Yes, let's go in. But before that take the key from my side pants pocket," said Farhan who deliberately told Ayu.
"I? Why don't you just take it!"
"My left hand is hurt, how do I pick it up?" Answer Farhan.
"You can use your right hand."
"Foolish base, the key is on my left. Don't argue with your boss, get it!" farhan's decree made Ayu snort angrily, she obeyed the words of her boss lazily. While Farhan smiled happily, managed to get Ayu closer to him.
