Chapter 55 ~ Action Gabriel
After introducing himself, Ayu quickly pulled Farhan's hand away from Gabriel. "What's wrong with you?" Farhan asked confusedly.
"I'm very hungry and can't wait any longer" Ayu replied in order to get through the atmosphere that she thought was very stressful.
"Huh, okay."
While Gabriel stared at their backs that were starting to drift away, his sad eyes upon seeing the woman he loved were trying to dodge. "He said he was busy, so that's why. Heh, he pretended not to know me and tried to dodge." Gabriel muttered in disappointment.
Farhan brought Ayu to enter the VIP room, they sat in the available seats. "Who was that guy?" Ayu asked as she looked at her boss enthusiastically.
"Gabriel is my neighbor and best friend" Sahut Farhan.
"Do you know well? I mean did your best friend tell you everything?" Tukas Ayy.
"He was close to me, doesn't mean I know everything about him. But, why are you asking?" Farhan looked at Ayu's bead eyes deeply.
Ayu smiled clumsily, she asked about Gabriel to make sure his identity was well hidden and unknown to others, but the question instead raised the suspicion of Farhan.
"I'm just curious." Ayu said casually so as not to arouse suspicion.
Then the two began to look around the menu, Ayu had no intention because her mind was always on Gabriel. "I feel guilty for Gabriel, what should I do?" Inner Ayu.
"What do you want to eat?" Farhan asked excitedly to show the food menu.
"As far as you go." Ayu was not excited by it, propping up her chin with one hand.
"All right." Farhan ordered many dishes that the woman in front of him liked, knowing all of Ayu's likes from the information obtained from Heri's assistant. Farhan who finished ordering all the menus, before long the food dishes were available on the dining table. He ordered all the spicy dishes because Ayu liked it so much, even though she herself did not like spicy dishes, for the sake of the woman who became a potential fiancee.
"Hopefully Gabriel didn't divulge my true identity, today I'm so unlucky!" Ayu muttered in her heart, she always thought about Gabriel. Afraid that Gabriel is leaking his identity, that he is the boss behind the scenes of Gabriel's company.
"What are you daydreaming about?" Farhan knitted his eyebrows to look at Ayu's face which had been stupefied.
"Eh, no."
"Let's eat! Didn't you say you were hungry?"
Ayu fed her mouth with the food on the plate, enjoying it while smiling at Farhan.
"Hows it? Do you like it?" Seloroh Farhan's.
"Yes, I like it a lot. But, how do you know if all this food is my favorite?" Ayu had no appetite, but seeing Farhan's face made her eat the food.
"Do you doubt me?" Farhan was proud. "But I haven't found your true identity yet" Farhan's inner self.
"You're very confident." Cetus Ayu who stood up and jerked his chair made Farhan gasp in shock.
"You why?" Farhan was confused.
"I have to go to the toilet, I'll be back!" Ayu who was feeling a bit of a stomachache, moved her legs in a hurry, Farhan smiled as he saw the departure of the woman.
"Finally relieved," Ayu murmured while washing her hands in the sink. After feeling enough, Ayu came out of the bathroom, how shocked she was when she saw a handsome man standing in front of the bathroom door.
"Hi, I'm Gabriel." Chirps Gabriel who extended his hand while smiling wryly.
"W-what are you doing here?" Ayu was very nervous with the man before her, let alone reaching out just to insinuate her.
"Are you surprised? I'm also." Gabriel stared at Ayu sharply and dragged the woman and locked Ayu with both her arms. The adjacent position made Ayu swallow the saliva, she could see how the man seemed to want to skin her.
"Please let go of me" Ayu flattened.
"Why are you avoiding me?" Gabriel looked at Ayu's bead eyes that were in her grip. "I even sent a lot of emails, but you didn't answer?" A series of questions from Gabriel made Ayu confused to answer them.
"That's because I'm so busy, you even know how I'm, I hope you understand!" Ayu replied with origin, because she did not want to give false hope to Gabriel who liked her. Ayu thinks Gabriel is just a friend, nothing more. However, Gabriel always expressed his feelings for Ayu but always being rejected did not make the man desperate.
"That's not the answer, why are you avoiding me?" Urge Gabriel.
"Take me off!" Ayu did not reply, she tried to escape from the man.
Gabriel liked Ayu when she helped him and his family to get out of the slump two years ago, by investing in setting up his own company. Ayu's generosity in helping her grow the seeds of love in her heart. Many acquaintances and even her lover left her when she had an economic crisis, but Ayu came like a hero by helping her company. In his heart was the name of Ayu, the helper.
"I won't let you go before you tell me the truth." Gabriel locks Ayu's movements.
"Said what? I was busy at the time and didn't have time to return an email from you." Cetus Ayu was upset with the man.
"Take it that way, but what is this? I was very surprised by Farhan saying that you were his fiancee." Gabriel clenched his hand tightly while hitting the wall behind Ayu. The statement from the friend made him hurt, jealous, and angry into one.
Ayu closed her eyes when Gabriel hit the wall behind her, she knew very well that the man was being emotional. He did not know how to go, just fell silent and accepted his circumstances.
"Don't expect more from me?!" Reply Ayu who does not want to give the man a chance.
"What is my lack? I love you so much and will remain so" Gabriel paled with nanar.
"Don't say that again, how many times have I told you, we don't fit in!" Reject Ayu raw, but ignored by Gabriel.
"Love comes when two people are together, give me a chance to prove it."
"No, it's not gonna work." Ayu replies indirectly rejecting Gabriel and will not fall in love with him. Instantly Gabriel was disappointed when he heard the words of the beautiful woman.
"Why? Why don't we just try." Gabriel's proposal never gave up.
"Well, this guy is so ambitious to have me." Inner Ayu who snorted was annoyed.
"Because I just think of you as a friend."
"Why did you accept the engagement?" Tukas Gabriel looked at Ayu with sadness.
Ayu did not reply, taking advantage of the circumstances as she found a gap, quickly taking the situation to get out of Gabriel's grip.
While Farhan glanced at the watch in his hand, waiting for Ayu's arrival never arrived making him rush off to find Ayu's whereabouts in the toilet. His steps came to a halt when he saw Gabriel and Ayu looking very close, let alone their position making him disappointed.
