Chapter 201: Restoration of the Royal Sisters

Rio held the still unconscious Flora (in the princess's sling) and told Christina to go up to her back. But Christina hesitated when recalling Duran's words about her being dirty and smelly, worried Rio could smell her as he carried her and was a little reluctant to hug her tightly enough.

Rio noticed her embarrassment and misunderstanding that it might be difficult for a sheltered girl like her to come into close contact with such a man. Then she apologized for her carelessness, which Christina honestly stated with a red face that hugging Rio while being as dirty was what worried her. Rio rejected her by saying that because it was dirty, he himself was covered in his own blood. She finally relaxed and hugged Rio quite strongly from behind.

Rio jumped carrying the two and left the place flying. Christina further tightened her embrace in fear of falling, but Rio told her that it was okay. Once they rested, he would give an explanation of what he saw during the battle. Then Christina put her hand on Rio's arm and started healing him. Rio thanked her for taking care of her injuries, and her face flushed red due to the closeness of their faces. Rio then flew like that for a few minutes until arriving at the rocky area.

Rio went inside the house and asked Christina to follow him. While Christina was at a loss for words again looking at the interior of the house, Rio laid Flora on the sofa and guided Christina to a room in Miharu and the others clothes to choose a change of clothes for her and Flora. Then she left it alone in the girls closet to check the size of the clothes with privacy. She borrowed two one-piece dresses and some underwear and returned to the living room.

When Christina arrived at the living room, Rio returned from the kitchen carrying iced tea and offered it to Christina and after drinking a little he woke Flora up and made her drink as well to make sure she was not dehydrated. After that Christina asked Rio how long Flora should recover. Rio replied that it would take a few days and he would bring the two to Rodania if he did not have a fever again then.

Christina asked anxiously if she would really take it back. Rio asked now if there was any problem with them returning to Rodania. Christina replied because she was Rio, she might not want to. He tried to confirm if he was talking about his past and he confirmed it with a worried face, that to him Bertram Kingdom was not a good country and he should not like them either because they did bad things to him before.

Rio then teased her recalling the slap when they first met to dispel the sad atmosphere, but he was embarrassed to remember it and apologized bowing his head with a red face. Flora asked if she really did that, and she explained in a voice that slowly lost volume how she slapped Rio when she saw him carrying an unconscious Flora in the slums. Rio said that he didn't care about it anymore and Christina replied confusedly that it wasn't just that.

Rio was grateful for their trust, Flora said that she always wanted to thank him for saving her from the Minotaur. That regardless of how he always helped her, he just got her into trouble. Christina then thanked him as well for saving both today and everything he did in the past. Rio then apologized for involving them in his fight with Lucius, but Christina said that it was not like that. That there is more reason to be targeted than just connecting with Rio. That if he wasn't there, there wouldn't be anyone to save them and they wouldn't be able to meet again if it wasn't for him.

Rio changed the topic to it is not yet clear that the Proxia Kingdom was involved in their abduction and he did not mind answering more questions or bringing them to Rodania. Christina then said if she was really okay with that, she would gladly accept but still doubt whether Rio was really okay with everything. Rio asked if he was still worried about his past, what did he want to do when he returned to Rodania? Christina replies that she will not reveal her past to anyone but she will follow her intentions and she will work together if she wants to clear her name.

Rio said that he had no special desire to clear his name all along, that he had no intention of dismantling the past. He also had no intention of appearing like Rio again in the Strahl Region after such a long time. Rio then thought in his head that he was not angry anymore because of that framing and if there was something unforgivable, it was about Latifa.

Upon seeing the bathtub, Christina and Flora could not take their eyes off him. And Rio explained how to use various soaps and magic tools and how to use the bathtub. Flora then asks if it is a bathroom where you can soak, as Hiroaki talks about it and asks a handyman to build it in his room and from time to time he lets others use it.

Christina then asks if she uses it, but she denies it by saying that using the man's bathroom is embarrassing. Rio then thought that it was better not to show just in case he was going to bathe in Rio house. She warns Flora about how she should not use the bathtub for now due to her fever. Seeing her disappointment, Christina decided not to enter due to solidarity. Rio realized that he had not given them the towel yet and went to look for her.

After being left alone, Flora asked Christina where they were now. Christina just said that at Rio's house. Flora was now curious why Rio had a home in Paladia Kingdom. Christina who did not know too well herself about the Stone House kindly told her to wait until she explained it properly later.

Christina told Flora that she looked happy, which she replied of course because she could finally meet Rio again and apologize for the past, while talking to him. Christina smiled gently at him, and Flora admitted that part of it was being able to do something like taking a bath at Rio's house.

Christina then said that she also never thought that she would be able to talk to Rio like that, especially in the academy days. Flora asked them about how Christina met Rio in the slums and about the slap. He then explained with great embarrassment about how arrogant he was acting in front of her and how he said rude things like he was dirty and smelly. Flora says that it was really terrible, Christina then says that the most important thing now are those who are dirty and wonder if they smell.

He remembered Duran's words and thought that if Rio took her all the way there while making an unpleasant face, it would be too painful to accept it. Then he asked Flora if they smelled and the two started to smell their clothes with embarrassed faces but they did not know if they smelled or not, so they decided to kiss each other.

Christina put her nose on Flora's neck, and she saw Rio back with a towel and shouted his name. When Flora noticed his presence, she shouted. At the same time Christina said that it was a misunderstanding and Rio said that he understood it.

Christina asked what she understood, and with a wide smile Rio replied that the two got along well. Both faces became red. Rio left the towel on the shelf and left the bathroom with a small laugh, both of them getting embarrassed and after a while decided to take a bath.

When Christina finished washing her hair, she told Flora to stop wasting time kissing the rest of the soap, she would catch a cold if she took too long. While Christina started to clean her face and body, she wondered if the soap was a product of the Rikka Company, about how many mysteries there were around Rio. He thought that most likely he wanted to keep the house and magic tools secret with Space Magic because he did not use them during the trip to Rodania, so it was better not to make any questions about it.

When she was about to finish, Flora asked him to go into the bathroom and express his opinion. She tries to resist out of solidarity for him, but Flora insists. Christina comes in and says that if it feels very good. While looking at Flora he thought that Rio medicine seemed to work because Flora looked much better than before. When the two wanted to get out, Christina could not stand up because she felt dizzy, so Flora went to call Rio.

When Flora arrived, she stiffly looked at it with just a towel and looked the other way. Flora was embarrassed, but she kept saying what happened to Christina. Rio then told her to return with Christina, while she spoke from behind the locker room door. Rio spoke a little with Christina and found that she was just a little bit overheated. So she explained to him what happened and how to deal with it and then she left. When Christina and Flora returned to the living room, Christina apologized to Rio with a red face for causing trouble. Rio also apologized for not explaining enough about how to use the bathroom and the two let him. Rio let cold drinks and dinner be prepared for them and he took a bath as well, after which the three of them slept.
