Chapter 59

Shanum went to school as usual, using public transport. While waiting for the questionnaire to arrive, Shanum went to the pay phone. He contacted Dewi, telling her he would come after school.

Coincidentally the one who picked up the phone was Bayu because there was no college today. Shanum also said the intention of his arrival later on Bayu. Bayu also welcomed the joy of hearing that.

Today there was a meeting of the teachers at Shanum school, so all the students were sent home faster than usual. At ten in the morning, Shanum had arrived at the house of Dewi and Bayu.

Shanum immediately wiped his tears and forced his smile.

"No-no, brother! Shanum did not cry, just the dust entry earlier," Shanum denied but only responded with a headband by Bayu.

Silent

Both of them were silent with an inexplicable glance. Shanum was silent because he was disinclined by Bayu. Bayu was silent as he waited for Shanum's reply.

Finally Bayu spoke up, did not have the heart to see the sadness in the eyes of the lover of the friend. Although Shanum said he broke up, Earth never considered Shanum a former. To her best friend, the woman in front of her is a lover.

Even though the level of safety is better for cars. The reason is, riding the motor is good for overtaking if it is jammed🤦)

Bayu takes Shanum to Earth's final resting place. The smell of incense greeted the two at the funeral. Bayu continued to step in and stopped at a new gravestone by the name of Rafael Bumi Wardhana.

How surprised Shanum was when shown the gravestone of Earth. That headstone was a gravestone that the other day he really wanted to visit. Shanum's body immediately fell to the ground, hugging the new headstone.

Shanum's tears flowed so fast. Shanum cried so much that he could not speak. He continued to cry while hugging the gravestone of the lover.

Bayu could only see the scene in front of him with a tight chest. He let Shanum spill his feelings. The 20-year-old man just stood up while holding an umbrella for Shanum.

An hour later, they had reached the Wardhana residence. A mourning atmosphere still enveloped the mansion. All are still wrapped in white, even the residents of the house are still wearing white clothes.

"Even when our son is gone, keep calling Mama. One more thing, Earth just wants to see our smile. So, never cry again!" Mama Anastasia wiped away the tears, which had not stopped dripping on Shanum's cheeks.

Shanum nodded while forcing his smile. However, those tears still flowed down those white cheeks. Then, Shanum rubbed it roughly.

"Sorry ..." said Shanum in a choked voice, unable to continue with his words.

Mama Anastasia hugged the strong but fragile looking girl. Their tears spilled so hard, like endless.

"This is our last tear for the Earth. I hope you can live your life with a smile. Ok?" mama Anastasia said without dispute. "promise!"

"Y-yes, Ma. Shanum promised," Shanum replied stammered as he returned as he pleased.

Mama Anastasia invited them to sit in the living room. The room has a huge picture of the Earth. In front of him was incense that was burned and a complete study.

"Earth, Shanum's coming, son. He's fine, isn't he? Now you have to be calm in heaven, don't think about us anymore" Anna suddenly said as she stood in front of the Earth photo.

Shanum almost returned to tears, remembering the message of Earth that was delivered by mama Anna. Shanum finally smiled at the photo of Earth.

After Anna's mom chat session with photos of Earth. They continued the conversation while sitting down to enjoy a snack. Mama Anna told Shanum about Earth.

At two o'clock in the afternoon, Shanum returns home. Before returning home, Shanum crosses paths with Satria. They stared at each other in silence. There was a deep disappointment in Satria's eyes.

Shanum greeted with a smile at the man who had pursued his love. Satria looked away and walked quickly away from Shanum and Bayu.

Bayu patted Shanum's shoulder slowly, encouraging the lover's woman friend. It's Bayu's job at the moment, making sure Shanum is okay.

Bayu also drove Shanum home to where usually Earth ushers.

"There's something I want to tell you about Earth's grievance before she drops. When do you have time to listen without tears?" say Bayu before leaving Shanum. "The Earth doesn't want to see you cry. Don't cry anymore because of her!"

Shanum replied with a smile and a nod. A few moments both of them were silent.

"Shanum will contact Bayu. How's it?" shanum suddenly broke the silence.

"Ok, I'm waiting! Hopefully the lecture hours are empty," Bayu replied nodding, before finally passing from Shanum's presence.

A few days later, Shanum contacted Bayu again. She was ready to hear the story from Bayu about the last message of the man that filled her heart.

Bayu accidentally picks up Shanum at school, to speed up time. Bayu takes her home. In order not to cause slander and misunderstand others.

Apparently Dewi was waiting for Bayu and Shanum in their base camp hut. In the hut it has been served drinks and snacks. Bayu immediately told me without waiting long.

Bayu tells how in Earth wants to see Shanum happy. Shanum's tears were his sadness. So much love of Earth for Shanum that willing to do anything to see Shanum smile happily.
