Rehan and Nabila were enjoying their late lunch at the best floating stall in a suburban tourist spot, various types of Javanese cuisine have been served by maids at Rehan's request.
They look very enjoying the special lunch moment, in the middle of a very wide natural lake with panoramic rice fields with green rice plants that surround it. Coupled with the panorama of a row of towering mountains in the distance, further adding to the charm of the scenery that is very pampering the eyes of every visitor.
Neither of them let out a word, only the sound of the clanking of spoons and forks clashing broke the silence. Occasionally Rehan seems to steal a look at Nabila, despite realizing that he is being noticed, Nabila seems to not care about it. Though his heart pounded very fast, but as strong as possible Nabila tried to hide his feelings. "Brother, don't look at Billa like that, dong," whispered Nabila inwardly.
The lunch was over, time showing at half-four in the afternoon, "Bill, we go there yuk," take Rehan while pointing to a motorboat that has been parked pretty in front of the floating stall where they are having lunch at this time.
Rehan immediately moved from his place and was followed by Nabila, "we want to do a bang?" selidik Nabila was curious shortly after they arrived near the motor boat that had been decorated very beautifully.
"We're going around the lake, right?" pinta Rehan and get on the boat.
Nabila was still silent in his place, he looked a little hesitant.
"Let's Bill, man, get up here" Rehan said as he stretched out his hands to lead Nabila up to the motor boat to follow him.
Nabila was still stunned, as his eyes revolved around the vastness of the natural lake and stared intently into the middle of the lake as if looking at the depth of the lake.
"Why Bill,," asked Rehan furrowing his brow in confusion.
"Billa was afraid of bang, Billa couldn't swim," said Nabila hesitated with her trembling voice. "The lake is vast, and we don't know how deep it is either, right?" continue with fear.
"Don't worry, I'll always be by your side" Rehan said gently and with a warm gaze bead Nabila's eyes to channel courage to the sweet girl in the hijab.
Finally with a little doubt that remains, Nabila received a helping hand Rehan and with the help of Rehan now Nabila was on a motor boat.
"Sit next to me" Rehan said, showing an empty bench next to the driver. Rehan himself immediately sat himself behind the wheel, after successfully helping Nabila to climb onto the motorboat.
After sitting down, Nabila looks confused, "this is who wants to bring his motorboat bang Rehan?" tanya Nabila pointed towards Rehan, "branch sure can?" the search is still full of worries.
"Can,," while smiling sumringah, "just relax Bill, I used to do jetski sports often," said Rehan steady. Then Rehan began to turn on the engine of his motorboat, "ready?" while staring warmly Nabila, and without waiting for the girl's answer Rehan immediately drove a motor boat at medium speed to get around the lake.
The golden-colored sunlight felt warm touching the skin, as a breeze gently swept across the two of their faces. Rehan continued to advance his motorboat, half a turn of the lake had been passed. "Still afraid of Bill,,," Rehan asked breaking the silence as he looked at the girl sitting speechless beside him.
"Udah was not afraid like that was a bang," replied Nabila innocently. The look on Nabila's face has now begun to shine, no longer looks like pias when he first rode a motorboat earlier.
The atmosphere was silent again, only the sound of motor boat engines could be heard roaring through the lake water. Rehan began to steer the speed of his motor boat to the middle, after a while they arrived right in the middle of the lake, and then Rehan turned off the engine of his motorboat.
"Out of death, why bang?" nabila asked in a panic, "is there a problem with the engine?" investigate Nabila increasingly curious and frightened, because they are now right in the middle of the lake that may be very deep, so roughly thought Nabila.
"But why do we stop here bang, Billa is really scared, we don't know how deep this lake is?" nabila's protest was still in a worried fashion, "Billa can't swim bang,," a soft-spoken reminder to Rehan that she can't swim.
Rehan only smiled knotfully, "as he had promised, someone would tell you" Rehan said, looking into Nabila's eyes, asking for approval and changing his seat to face the hijab girl, "you don't mind if you say it here?"
After a moment of silence, Nabila could only nod his head and assented.
Rehan took a deep breath, inhaling the fresh air around the lake to fill his lungs with oxygen that was freely available in the universe. He slowly exhaled, and began to set the rhythm of his breath. "Bill,," Rehan said very gently.
Hearing his name called, Nabila turned.
"Facing here," Rehan said.
Without asking much, Nabila also changed his sitting position to face the handsome man.
Now that the two had been sitting face to face, Rehan was seen pulling both of Nabila's hands and linking their fingers together, his warm eyes piercing through both of Nabila's beads. With a quivering voice Rehan began to speak, "Nabila Ayunda,, will you marry me?" paused for a moment, rearranged her breath, "will you be queen in my heart? Being the queen in my palace? To be Kevin's mother and our children?" her door with a gentle look full of hope.
For a moment both of them were silent, their gazes clinging to each other as if channeling a sense in their respective hearts. Rehan looked a little relieved, having managed to pour the contents in his mind all along. While Nabila was still glued, trying to find out the honesty of Rehan's eyes.
"Is it true what you just said?" asked Nabila finally to demand honesty from men in front of him.
"I say it from the bottom of my heart," Rehan replied earnestly, "and you can definitely feel my concern all this time for you right?" continued again.
The atmosphere returned to silence, only the chirping of the flying sea birds hovering above the lake.
"How is Billa, are you willing to accept my love? And willing to be my wife?" Rehan asked back with a feeling of unworthiness, and further tightened the grip of their hands as if he needed strength to hear any answer that would be given by the girl of his heart.
Seconds changed minutes, Nabila still did not budge.
"I'm sorry, if I express my feelings in an unromantic way, like in online novels," Rehan said, "expressing love by giving a beautiful bouquet of flowers or an expensive diamond ring, because I am not a CEO like the characters in novels are valued and pursued by many women. I'm just a deddy who needs a partner to take care of my son, I'm just an imperfect man and I need you to perfect my life," she looked warmly at Nabila's face which began to singleness his sweet smile.
