"O Mijn God!" (Oh my God!)

Eric shouted in disbelief, he took a few steps back. The presence of Nyai Laksmi from thin yellowish smoke really does not enter the logic. Eric never once met a ghost or anything. Because his understanding is different about magic.

Eric believes there is another world in this life and that, the world of the dead who live the afterlife. Not a ghost world like the beliefs of the Javanese.

"Cari! Who-is-she?! Why, why did he emerge from the smoke? It's a magic trick, right?"

Eric still can't believe what Sari said even though Laksmi's life has been real in front of him. "It's not Eric's magic, it's real!"

Sari folded her hands in front of her chest. He looked at Eric intensely. "Include this is Laksmi's nyai, one of the hundreds of softeners on my side."

Feeling introduced, Laksmi yelled at Eric and smiled. "I'm sorry if my presence surprises you!"

Eric put one hand on his head and another on his waist, "Di-he's talking?"

"You think soft people can't talk?" Sari asked back.

Eric rubbed his face rough, he was both amazed and scared.

"Is he good?"

"I? Nyai Laksmi is good, but it can be bad when humans or others are bad as well." Nyai Laksmi seemed impatient to answer. He knew Eric was afraid of him, which is why he was a little bit anxious.

"Oh .. yes, sorry!" Eric was misbehaved, he was nervous to be seen as a beautiful soft man with a bright yellow.

"Hyai Laksmi is an example of what I meant earlier. He's on my side, you don't have to be afraid of him, Eric?!"

Sari began to explain everything to Eric, from beginning to end in outline. Nyai Laksmi followed Sari behind, she also sat down to listen to Sari's explanation. Every now and then Laksmi nodded and smiled strengthening Sari's explanation to Eric.

Eric gawked not knowing what to say. He did not expect his arrival to Indonesia would lead him to major events throughout his life.

"It's crazy, really crazy Sari!" He looked at Sari in disbelief and then looked at Nyai Laksmi who was smiling at him.

"Mom Adeline did tell me about your privilege, but I never believed her. That's impossible!"

"Dus je gelooft het nu?" (So you believe it now?)

Eric did not answer, his gaze could not be separated from Laksmi's. "Bo-can I …,"

Eric asked Sari while pointing at Nyai Laksmi, and Sari nodded. Eric approached Laksmi's nyai doubtfully, his hands outstretched slowly. He wants to touch Nyai Laksmi.

"O mijn God! hij is echt, he's real!" Eric was hysterical and grabbed his own hair.

(Oh my God! He's real, )

He turned around and walked back to Sari. "I'm crazy, I'm crazy! I touched Sari! I touched!"

Eric yells back to make Laksmi's nya astonished."He seems to be a crazy Sar!" His whisper slowly, making Sari smile.

"Eric, stop! You're not a kid who just met the devil, are you?"

Eric ignored Sari's words he continued to walk back and forth incoherently while staring at the nyai. Sari was irritated to see it.

"Eric, stop it!"

"Eric! Stop it and listen to me now!" This time Sari's voice sounded so upset and pressured Eric, that he stopped and sat down.

"Listen to me, I need your help here ok?" Sari waited for Eric's response.

"All right, what do you need?"

Sari was relieved, Eric began to be able to understand the circumstances. Sari started talking seriously to Eric. He asks Eric to stay at Saka's house under strict guard. He also asks Eric to look after Kania for him. For the next few weeks Eric and Kania are barred from leaving the house for their safety.

Sari had to absolutely make sure there was no gap for Airlangga. He has to take care of the people he loves. The tragedy of Mang Aa, Bagas, Ahmad, and Rara will not be repeated for him.

"All right, I'll obey your orders! But please promise me Sar!" Eric looked at Sari's beautiful eyes inside.

"Come back safely with your husband! I promised Mom Adeline and Dad Barend I'd take care of you!" Eric continues expectantly.

"Sure, Eric! I promise, as long as you keep your job! I have to focus on facing Airlangga, a little mistake will be fatal to you!"

Meanwhile in a village on the outskirts of Malang. Four people walked straight. His eyes swept around. The occasional rude gasp of breath sounded from them. The four stood at the boundary of the village.

"It's a good place!" One of them said. His voice was strange as if there were two people talking in one body.

"We can find food here, far from the city and the population is also good." A hoarse and heavy voice was heard chiming in from one of the men with perfect black eyes.

Sari in the distance saw two villagers on foot. One man was clapping and carrying a large bundle of grass on his head, while one was wearing a barricade with a basket filled with food and a drinking kettle. A couple of the villagers' wives.

The four looked at each other, and smiled. "We better ask them," one of them stared at the other with a strange grin.

Before long the two had approached, questionable gazes appeared on the faces of the two. Four strangers who were like waiting for them to pass, both had never seen the four people so suspicion was clearly visible from the eyes of the couple.

"Sorry mom, may I ask you a question?" Slamet approached with a friendly smile.

The mother just nodded and smiled, she turned her head towards her husband.

"Is this the way to Telagasari village? We seem lost?!" Slamet asked again, looking at the other three.

The husband looked at the four suspiciously. He watched from top to bottom. "You are climbers? Getting lost?" Ask the man to the four.

Asked so the four nodded slowly. The man then replied."Telagasari village is on the hill over there here Sumber village. You must walk through the pine forest before you reach the village."

"It turns out it's still a long way away," Minto pretends to remove the sweat.

"You're thirsty, let's drink first. I have a little food and drink." The pitying mother immediately lowered the basket and took out a drink and a small meal in the bushel.

Karyo and Minto smiled, their trap succeeding. The mother was unaware death was in love with her. He poured water into the bamboo glass without noticing Minto's eye change.

"Here, drink!"

The mother held out her hand which Minto greeted.

"Thank you," Minto grinned, sharp little teeth visible behind his mouth, perfectly blackened eyes and a disrespectful voice.

The mother trembled at the change of the man in front of her, she shouted. "P-pakne!"

Too late, Minto's hand had turned into a black tendril that tightly bound the mother's hand, in a single pull the mother was in Minto's arms. In one blink of an eye, the mother's neck was already trapped in Minto's mouth.

The husband who heard the screams of his wife immediately picked up the scythe and attacked Minto. Naas Karyo grabbed her body quickly. Repelling the scythe in his hand with sharp claws. The husband's hand almost broke. A second later, his old body ran out of blood.

Karyo and Minto grinned with mouths full of fresh blood. Their tongues are long and dance like reptiles. Slamet followed Mbah Dul approached the bodies of two residents who were now lying lifeless.

"Eat time!"
