Srinayu On the Hill of Randu

Srinayu On the Hill of Randu
Chapter 11 | Dream Lake

Bu Srining's right hand held a small machete, while his left hand gripped a pair of legs of a hen. Still young, an age that is appropriate to be used as a dining menu. And, by the way, the man, the old woman looked like a butcher.

Mr. Linggih nodded to Ms. Srining who looked at him asking for an assessment of the chicken in his hand. "It's time!" tukas Pak Linggih half yelling. And loud enough to be heard by Randu and Nayu at the other end.

"There's going to be a special chicken menu today." Randu took the time to glance for a moment at Mr. Linggih and Ms. Srining.

Naju straightened his body, making Bu Srining from a distance can see his daughter smiling. While Randu, for the most part he was amazed to see the crescent arch during the day.

It's beautiful here. Everything was. This kind of life I've only ever found in my imagination... My imagination is now real... Randu's desire to go home is unthinkable, the story of nature here is so wrapped up in dreams of happiness.

Amazing..., whispered Nayu to himself, ..the young man of the city did well. Rice seedlings embedded neatly. Randu even did it excitedly.

Suddenly Randu stood up, as if because he could hear such vague praise. Nayu's gaze with a facial expression implies curiosity.

"Away...?" ask Nayu immediately.

Randu turned his face away, then his gaze spread out in all directions, while thinking of something. "There is less," he said confidently, until finally his gaze was glued to a small building to the east there, almost facing the back of the house. And WC.

the WC was purposely built outside, not fused with the bathroom. It's a long way away. It is quite troublesome if you want to defecate at night. Moreover, lighting only relies on funnel lights.

"What's that?" timpal Nayu curious.

Paddy fields, farm animals, all there is, then what else is thought. "WC is there." He folded his hands on his chest. "Hm... I want to make a lake," he said, surprising Nayu.

"You...?" nayu to Randu.

"Wide that hill, Nayu!" point the Pandu to one of the hills. The area is almost equal to the size of a football field.

Nayu's eyes widened and her mouth accidentally gaped. He hurriedly covered it up.

Randu. "Why not," he replied confidently.

A young man looked to be watching hundreds of jinn who were straddling the rocks, arranging and arranging them in such a way as to build a magnificent building. After some time, after their work was completed, the jinn gathered. The supernatural beings bowed respectfully to the young man. Ask for blessing, judgment, praise, and wait for the next order from the master who is powerful mandraguna. While the master stood tall, glaring at the army of jinn. No one dared to speak without his permission. Coughing as much as possible is detained. Everyone lowered their heads deeply. Pandu mangosteen daydream the mythical scene. He looks serious. There were no signs of a smile at all. "Of course if your father allows," he continued haughtily later.

"Instead, he will order..," joked Nayu. "But who will help you?"

Randu deliberately revealed his teeth, and showed a strange way of laughing, "He. he..." He blinked his eyes. "Of course your father. Us two. And you better help too. Mm. But I think I can do it myself. After that we can fish. No need to go all the way to the river."

Sayu closed her lips, she was really holding back a laugh. When he lowered his fingers there was still a big smile left. Soon after, Nayu ran away from Randu.

What wrong! Randu flinched watching it. Soon he felt he had made a mistake Gawat!

The worry is over soon. Nayu ran around laughing. Both his parents were called. "Mother! The father! Sir! Paaaaac! Oh...! H....! Randu wants to make a lake alone! That hill!"

Woe to thirteen. Execute Randu. Make your angel happy. Fly himself to the most beautiful ceiling. Dingingukan.

Mr. Linggih was stunned to hear it, the screams of Nyu were so clear to immediately catch the ears. Mr. Linggih takes seriously the desire of Randu, the character of a Randu can be understood by parents as wise as Mr. Linggih. "H...! I'm sure it's not wrong to hear what you say, Nayu. Tell him to do it immediately."

ALL work today, not least Randu who has become like the host should now. The amount of energy that was drained during work earlier, making lunch eaten more vibrant. Randu and Mr. Linggih seemed to be racing to spend food faster. Naju and Bu Srining occasionally observed the two of them.

Mr. Linggih looked around, while inside his mouth was still full of food. "There is less..."

As a cook, the most touched person was Ms. Srining. She glared at her husband.

A little grinning Mr. Linggih continued, ".fish."

"Can doesn't exist... You're not fishing today...? Bright Bu Srining.

"If there is a pond near the house, we can raise fish.", continued Naju flat.

"Lake, Nayu..," replied Mr. Linggih.

It seems like someone feels insinuated, the downcast Randu held in shame. Acting like he was not listening, he pretended to be more greedy eating food.

"The father had also long wanted to make a pond. But, not a lake," continued Mr. Linggih. His hand then reached out to the cucumber slices, biting him in half. Ranum. "In that way, do not bother to go all the way fishing."

Randu looked up, his body straightened. However, he tried as if he seemed uninspired. "A good idea. I thought so too."

"really?" timpal Mr. Linggih.

"When then...?" added Nayu excited.

Ms. Srining won't miss, "After this lunch... How..., Randu?" goda.

After lunch, all family members rest and relax, including Randu. He leaned lazily on the doorpost facing the stairs. The gentle breeze tempted the eyes to shut. And the sky looks shady shadowing this dwelling. Occasionally the leaves fly in the wind.

The day changed, Randu seemed to forget his desire to go home. There is hope of happiness in him in this place. Maybe because of a Nayu, or something else. An amazement.

In this place, he could forget all the problems of his life. Far from anything that threatens him, unsettling the peace of his soul.

OUTSIDE WORLD! I don't know what it looks like!? Never mind remembering it, I never even felt it. Is it true, filled with evil humans..? Kill each other, hurt, get greedy... Is that why I'm here.. We're family? Hide out. But, Randu...? His figure makes me doubt everything... He is a good man. I think there are still a lot of good people out there. Akh, I don't know...

Slowly the various questions that filled Nayu's head began to sound vague. Sounds close, blurred, unclear. The room behind his house was also slowly becoming darker. Nayu's eyes began to fade, his head nodding lightly, his body swaying leisurely, until finally unconsciousness collapsed and fell asleep on the arm of the chair. The position of his body sits bent, his head face down, while his legs dangle to the floor. Instinctively his hands were trying to cover part of his face.

This perverse FEELING reappears in Randu. When everyone is asleep, like the past...

The little rowu walked back and forth pursued restlessly. He hit the white wall of his house. His father was asleep, and so were his mother and little brother. While outside the house, it rained heavily. From behind a glass window he watched a group of children running around. The freedom he really wants. His face drew closer to the glass, from his mouth exhaling a breath of steam. Create a circle of dew on the surface of the glass. He will wipe it until the glass is clear again. Quietly, actually, tears have flowed.

I'm imprisoned! Will it be a lifetime...? Nah! It's not gonna happen again. I am entirely mine. Randu's heart growled. I'm a free man!.

Randu hurried to step out of the room. While crossing the middle room of the back, he saw Nayu sleeping soundly on the chair.

The girl's face to him seemed peaceful. Contrary to the situation out there, which was in heavy rain and lightning struck with a thunderous booming sound.

"With her dream...?" muttered Randu while continuing to pass.

Turns out, Randu again approached Nayu. She spread a thick blanket over the body of Naju who looked shivering with cold. After that, step away.

Upon arrival at the doorway, in the front room, there were no thoughts blocking his intentions. Without feeling, then he broke through the rain.

"Nails, shovels, and machetes... This alone is enough," jerked Randu at yourself.

Then, his face looked up to the sky, welcoming the rain. It is like feeling a series of caresses, an outpouring of affection from nature. Through a crystal thread stretching from heaven to earth; a line connecting the Creator and His servant. This is how life should be, he thinks.

A human figure without clothes, like being possessed by a subtle creature is crazy to strangle the ground blindly. If not possessed, it must be someone who is not sane. I don't know what makes him so excited. Something demanded to be resolved immediately.

It will be younger to hoe the ground when it rains. The ground became very loose. Of course, if you do not have a problem with the cold water from the sky, plus the breeze of the wind piercing the flesh and bones. The lightning that lurks for him is only about matters of belief. Life and death are in His hands.

Hair that is stretched down to cover the forehead to the eyes is not too ignored. Occasionally the strands of hair trying to break into the eyelids interfere with vision and concentration. Meanwhile, ranging from the ankles to calves filled with wet soil that seems to have turned into mud splashes, and some reach all the other limbs.

Ms Linggih looked out the window, her eyes still looking dull. He just woke up from his sleep. He had not had time to look out at the left yard of his house, suddenly his gaze accidentally hit a human figure. In the rain that was beginning to subside, he saw that Randu was doing something. Half the calf of the young man was already invisible, showing how deep the ground he had dredged was.

Bu Linggih's eyes sparkled, he seemed to be admiring. It could feel an overflow of throat looming out there. There was also a sense of haru touching his heart about the figure of Randu. He actually understands the hidden side in a Pandu. There was another great hope that the young man actually wanted to reach. According to his current assessment, Randu is running an escape or an impingement. Self-evidence efforts that will be relentless, actually. But, to be exact, what kind of escape it was, a dream or an ideal, he himself did not know for sure.

Without realizing Bu Linggih, it turns out that he himself was watching him. Mr. Linggih found him stunned stiffly at the edge of the window. Then her husband approached.

Bu Linggih caught a small movement on his right side. He just looked over for a moment, then turned back to Randu.

Not long Mr. Linggih was on his wife's side. Once he realized what was really going on out there, then he rushed off.

Ms. Linggih has not moved from her place. His mind was getting harder trying to penetrate the deepest space of Randu's. The young man's. He weeds the opaque parts, and sorts through them, hoping to find something more meaningful. Niente. There's a veiled section that's tightly protected within that chewy wall. Soon she saw her husband was outside the house, walking in a hurry to approach Randu.

"What are you going to do, Old Man...? Huuh.." sighed Bu Srining.

SEEING the arrival of Mr. Linggih, Randu deliberately stopped his work. Then greeted him with a small laugh. It seemed he was proud of what he had done and was doing, and his body language showed he wanted immediate judgment.

Mr. Linggih did not catch that. These parents are more interested in other things that he thinks might be more useful. Mr. Linggih directly grabbed the spade that was lying, neglected on the side of the ground that had not been dug.

"Of course I'd be in it if I knew from the beginning you were really going to do it." While putting the shovel in an upright position, Mr. Linggih tilted the left side of his lips. It seems like a smile. Both of his arms are then propped up on the handle of the shovel. "I don't think you've come this far!"

Without looking at Mr. Linggih, Randu responded, "I never mess with my words. But, even so, honestly this is sudden.I don't plan on starting today."

"What demon possessed you?" reply Mr. Linggih while starting to dig. While his heart was unceasingly admiring the basin that was almost half the size of a basketball court. The place stood and drowned half of his legs.

The fine grains of raindrops sprinkled on both of their faces.

"I heard a whisper," replied Randu as he wiped the dirt on his cheek, "Rain calls me. They're 'heating' me."

"Sure Randu...." Mr. Linggih understands something. "There is rain that comes from the past. As if seeking revenge for our past defeats...."

"That's a proverb or a myth?" timpal Randu's. Actually he quite understands what Mr. Linggih meant, but hopes the possibility of another explanation that is completely different.

"Mitos or whatever, it all ends in the same meaning. The reality is not much different." Mr. Linggih stopped for a moment to dig. "Wake your revenge on this land!"

The heavy rain began to subside, the sky now left only small specks. When there was nothing more to talk about, they were busy with their own digs. Lusting, hurry. Like the porters who are forced to work rodi to pursue the deadline of company orders like the colonial era long ago.
