Srinayu On the Hill of Randu

Srinayu On the Hill of Randu
Chapter 22 | Gusar

BU SRINING was busy moving rice from a large wooden tray into a rattan basket. While Mr. Linggih worked his part - separating the rice from the chaff - inserting the dried grain into a simple rice milling machine. Beside him is a pile of grain that is still mountainous, waiting for its turn to be processed.

"That kid, these days spends more and more of his time in the pool. His pet seemed to have become something very precious." While continuing to pedal the wheel lever driving rice mill machine that is still working in a manual way, Mr. Linggih took the time to comment about Randu.

Hearing her husband's words, Ms. Srining looked at the pool. There, Randu was standing straight behind the pool. His style was like a royal courtier guarding the palace gates.

"What's on his mind? Lest he was still traumatized when his fish in the pond became a mass meal," guessed Miss Srining half-joking.

"Washing his own brain, perhaps," replied the original Mr. Linggih.

"It's good that you take her around" Ms. Srining suggested to her husband. "It seems, the arrival of the four people did not make him happy. Instead, he just felt more and more cornered."

Mr. Linggih turned his head towards Bu Srining, trying to digest the meaning of his wife's words. "Before he got here, I thought, before he had a problem. But I don't know for sure, what kind of way of life has he experienced in the city there?"

After successfully gathering enough rice, Ms. Srining then stepped away. Before moving away from a sentence he said, "Something very painful."

SEEING Randu alone, it was thought by Kori to accompany. He approached, though hesitated.

What's Randu doing?" ask Kori.

Hearing someone call his name, Randu turned his head.

"Hei Kori," replied Randu kindly. "Where are the others?"

"Rei is embroidery with Nayu, yes. While Zillian. While Menon I don't know where she is."

"May you guys be here."

Kori was silent for a moment, "I actually want to go home..."

"Is the host here less well-served?"

"Absolutely not. I just miss coming home," Kori told Randu. It seems Kori is not lying. There is no luck anyway. There is no good reason to support that.

For a moment, the attention of both of them was distracted by the action of a fish that suddenly shot to the surface of the water. A poor insect may have been his meal, or it may have been a protest, the inhabitants of the water down there felt his rest disturbed by the human voice.

"Definitely miss someone?" ask Randu pretentiously. Lately such topics have become so important in this place. Missing, romance, soul mates and the like. Love, about love.

Kori smiled with a small smile at Randu's judgmental question. "I'm not too sure. But I certainly miss going home."

"Then your life there must have been so much fun, that you felt it all meant a lot. Compared to being isolated in this place with us..."

"Fun, like your prejudices."

"I envy you..."

Kori. Secretly her little heart laughed to itself. "Have your parents ever thought of leaving your residence now...? This spot... This wilderness...?"

"My parents...?" Randu did not understand the meaning of Kori's words.

Something is wrong, Kori thought. "Yes. I mean Mr. Linggih and Ms. Srining..."

It was shocking what Kori had just said. Randu did not expect at all. All this time Kori has not known about her identity. Suddenly he remembered Rei, apparently the girl did not tell his friends much about who he was. Especially to Kori.

"I'm just like you. Get lost. Then find a life in this place," explained Randu bluntly.

"Oh, God." Kori looked surprised to know that fact. Meanwhile, Randu was getting deeper and deeper to pay attention to his movements. "And Nayu...?" he continued to grow curious.

"Of course Nayu is not my sister."

As they began to find a hot topic to talk about, it was seen Mr. Linggih who was walking closer.

"Are you guys talking about fishing?" ask Mr. Linggih upon arrival near Randu and Kori.

"Ee.. yes a little bit much..," replied Kori hurriedly.

"For a long time we did not go fishing with Randu," said Mr Linggih later. "As if we were always preoccupied with our own affairs."

"I'd love to do it again," replied Randu excitedly.

Mr. Linggih smiled in the calm look of his face. Then his gaze was thrown far into several corners. Finally, he lifted his head up against the clear blue sky. "But this time I want to ask you to do something else. And this will not lose the thrill of fishing. The heart will beat even more, even making the beat stop for a moment."

Sounds interesting what Mr. Linggih has to offer.

"I can't wait," said Randu getting excited so that Mr. Linggih immediately explained his plan.

NAYU deliberately glanced towards Menon. The face of the god is deep. There are very interesting curves in some corners. The charming lines that Menon has are really like the magnetic poles that have attracted the beautiful roundness of the eyeballs of Nyu.

"You want to try it?" nayu asked Menon who was not aware of her being observed. While Menon itself is also fascinated by the swing of Malay fingers playing knitting tools.

"Menon...?" ask Nayu again.

"Eh yes..."

"Ehm daydreaming... How is...? Wanna try?"

"If you don't feel your preoccupation is disturbed" replied Menon as warmly as possible.

"It's okay sometimes. Just don't be too often you disturb my calm while making out with this thing," joked Nyu sweet. "By the way... Do you know how to use it?"

Sometimes Rei turned his attention to the conversation of Menon and Nayu, then returned to his busyness.

Menon stopped the pace of her hand that was just about to reach the knitting equipment. He smiled a little. His memory returned to the time when he was in school. "I used to learn this in school... I still remember it."

"When that?" chase the curious Nayu..

"Eee.. anu. on the SLTP bench," replied Menon. "But I forgot what class I was in... Someplace... Mm..." Menon kept trying to remember her, her forehead started to wrinkle. Plus it looks like it's getting clunky.

Looking at Menon who was too important to her question, Nayu immediately cut in with a small smile, "Ah that's it. No need to be too detailed."

It is unexpected that Menon class youth can experience misbehavior. Not too nervous. After being able to master himself then Menon can say calmly, "You're right."

Nayu deliberately did not recall his offer earlier, he waited for Menon to stop paying attention to his face.

"Mh... Do I still have a chance to try it," said Menon so aware of its usefulness.

"Of course." Nyu then glanced at Rei. "Rei, it looks like my students are adding one more."

Without taking his eyes off, Rei replied, "But I think there should be a condition."

Menon and Nayu looked at each other.

"What is Rei?" ask Nayu.

Rei raised his head. Facing one by one the faces of two people who were nearby then, "Menon you have to wear a skirt."

Hearing the sadistic terms from Rei, Nyu suddenly laughed out loud. And Rei himself so follow laughing at his own actions. While Menon was only able to nod slowly while smiling shyly.

Not far from them, it looks like Randu is passing. Apparently, he was heading towards the back of the house. Before finally his body disappeared, fate placed Randu and Nyu looking at each other. Rei was interested in investigating the direction of Naju's view, but too late, he saw that there was no one on the other end.

Whether what demons possessed Randu, suddenly he is now a spiteful and sirik figure. His heart was full of anger and disdain. Behind the house, Randu walked while kicking stones that were clearly never guilty of him. "Mostly not a quality guyonan. Scorching and crisp," snapped Randu. He felt he could guess the contents of the conversation of the three people. "Menon you'd better wear a skirt if you want to knit."

"That's right, ma'am," praised Naju suddenly from behind.

Ms. Srining looked over and smiled. "Did mom ever cook bad?"

Nayu smiled wryly. But without a frown. "I don't remember ever."

"Given mother.ever," denied Ms. Srining gently. "You forgot?"

"ee... I'm certain. Never been."

Ms. Srining looked over again. "When mom's gone for a while, and you're assigned to replace her."

Nayu stared at the ceiling of the house, as if from there she got an answer. Then, he vaguely began to remember it. "Oos... That's... It was because of my mistake. I don't cook alone."

"Not really." Ms. Srining then tried to explain her case, "Because you were under my supervision. Therefore, it was still a mother's failure as a cook." Ms. Srining laughed softly as she felt she had managed to tag her child.

"May your father come home with the hunted," Bu Srining later said of another matter.

"Are you hunting?" chase after Nayu like you can't believe it.

Ms. Srining stepped into the right corner of the kitchen. There is a wooden shelf, on it neatly arranged various cooking raw materials and spices. He reached into some small tomatoes in a wooden tube as high as one inch, after which he returned to his cooking again. "Your father went with Randu and Kori. I didn't ask your father directly. But I saw your father carrying his air rifle."

Nayu nodded slowly. "May father succeed" he prayed.

"Halloo..." The cute Rei unexpectedly had suddenly been behind this mother and child. Maybe a few words of conversation could be heard. But there's no problem. Not something to hide this time.

Nayu gladly welcomed Rei's presence. "Hey, Rei." Then he approached, grabbed Rei's arm and pulled him. "You should learn to cook with my mom. Guaranteed you won't regret it."

Rei smiled shyly.

Rei was slightly tempted to hear the seduction of Sayu that was so convincing. Deep in his heart, he was eager to try it. How her feminine aura has been stirring lately. Nayu is indeed an accomplished seducer, one of his successes, managed to persuade Rei to learn to embroider.

Ms. Srining smiled at Rei. "Here, baby."

Rei was really happy with this atmosphere. At first he was clumsy to find himself admiring things that had previously been considered taboo for him; from knitting to cooking.

Time seemed to be going so fast, Rei was still not aware of the ever-growing grace and charm that was increasingly shining in him. It might take a long time. Or maybe today.

"I'm afraid of Nayu." Instantly Rei stopped his footsteps. He imagined how ridiculous the reaction of his friends would be. "They will surely laugh out loud, even rolling on the ground."

Nayu didn't want Rei to give up so easily. Their efforts all this time will be in vain. Nayu tried to guess Rei's heart, "Who are you most worried about? Zillian...?"

Rei was surprised, his eyes darted, then shook his head once. "Not."

"Mennon?" guess Jayu again. This time there was no reaction from Rei. He lowered his head. Deep. His gaze seemed to try to penetrate the floor board of the stage house where he stood. Suddenly the deckagatnya became like a shy pingitan girl when she heard the name of the man with the heart said.

Both silent. Nayu could only hope to be anxious. There were no more words to convince Rei.

At last... "Alright," said Rei.

And when Nayu turned her head, Rei had already stepped his foot.

There was no one in the front room. Quietly empty. Though Rei had prepared his heart as well as possible for this part. Meanwhile, Nayu kept an eye from behind.

Before finally taking another step, Rei took the time to glance at Naju. Looking anxiously at the figure he had considered to be more than just that friend.

Supports you... Always with... I'm not gonna let anyone hurt you. The lines on Nayu's face seemed to say so. Wanting it to feel as though Naju immediately pushed Rei out, before Rei's doubts came back to attack.

However, in the end, by itself Rei again stepped foot again. This time the steps were more steady.

A moment later Rei had been in the middle of the doorway.

First, a ray of morning sunshine greeted him. That thing alone can make him feel ashamed.

Rei was determined. Then, he ventured back to that dazzling sight.

At the end of his eyes flashed a group of dedebuan points. The fine materials seemed to float softly as if without a burden. Rei felt that they were also staring at him, as if he understood the deepest feeling in his heart right now. Do I look stupid little friend? Bathin asked me softly.

No. gabe. That answer flashed through Rei's mind.

Out there Rei was starting to be able to catch the voice of the speechless people. The rhythm rises and falls as if being tossed udders as breeze.

Who are they? Ask Rei on the dust. One of them he can recognize; Kori. At least there are three people talking out there.

Unknowingly, during the daydream, his footsteps had led Rei to the first rung of the stairs.

There is no chance to turn the body. Rei had actually been caught off guard. All eyes are on him now. There was Zillian, Randu, as well as Kori as he had expected earlier.

For a moment Rei felt lost to him. His mind was suddenly empty. Numbness.

After he found his lost self again, he looked at the people in front of him.

Waves of fear suddenly began to arrive, like an unstoppable floodwaters streaming freely smashing into his little heart. His face was stiff and his lips paled.

Suppose Rei realized, that all the figures of the man who was in front of him at this time, from then on was also forgetting himself. They're flabbergasted.

"Hi," Rei greeted clumsily. It's wry but sweet. Look at me, Pinta Rei in my heart. How is...?

The tempo of the day alone he had been so mesmerizing. Only rely on half-shoulder hair, sweetened with a magical object in his hand; embroidered cloth and fine threads that curl beautifully around his lentik fingers. And now, Rei was wearing a yellowish long skirt. His top is a waist brackets, lacy, light blue in narrow collared. The strands of her responsibility swayed charmingly by the gentle sweep of the breeze of the hills.

Almost as soon as Rei was about to cry, they must be thinking of me as a freak. Rei regretted his actions. Should have been self-conscious, he would never have deserved to look like this.

The one up there is wise, knowing exactly when to act. Including moving the hearts of His servants. "Rei..," said Randu softly but clearly heard. "You have made us forget ourselves. You are like a beautiful flower in the spring. Challenging gracefully in the hot sun."

Rei couldn't believe what he had just heard. Estimates of rain insults obtained, it turned out to be a rain of praise. He also cannot hide his happiness. Her face was beaming, harrumphed red, and her shy smile curled sweetly on her lips. But, that's Randu, the others aren't necessarily.

Zillian was still silent. And it seemed that he did not listen to the words of Randu. He was busy with his own assessment of Rei. Compliments flowed through his head's neural channels. But not to get out, everything is extinct upon arrival in the throat, hit by self-esteem.

Kori looked down at the earth. This young man tried hard to control himself, against his feelings. He tried to turn his eyes in all directions. Then make sure the situation around him. Don't let anyone reveal his heart, he thought worriedly.

It was time for Menon to react. "I don't want to lie to myself. You're so pretty. So gracefully charming." Then calmly stepped up to approach Rei. "I can hardly believe this is you."

Nayu who from earlier kept watching, now can breathe a sigh of relief after passing by with quite resounding tense seconds. Nayu was very moved. Not feeling her tears flowing slowly on her alluring cheeks. Sayu is happy if Rei is happy. Rei managed to achieve his dream, even though it meant that Bayu would get a rival.

"Are you going to stay tight there...? Wouldn't you like to develop a song for us?" zillian chirps suddenly "Come on my sweet girl... Show us that besides being beautiful, you have a beautiful voice."

Rei glared at Zillian's words. But he is confident right now. He believed Zillian was admiring him, not making fun of him.

Rei went down the stairs while trying to respond to all the compliments humbly. "What the hell is this, sich? My clothes are all dirty, so I borrowed Nyu's clothes."

"I wish you would wear it that way more often" Pinta Randu, either sincere or just pleasantries.

Rei accelerated his pace. Intent to go away from the crowd that makes his chest feel tight accompanied by pounding. While the smile cannot be lost.

"Where are you going Rei...!?" sergeant Randu. "You don't want to hear Kori's response?"

Kori was surprised to hear it. "aa... A A..." His mouth stuttered, not knowing what to say, praise or self-defense.

"ah! Nevermind! You're all overreacting. It is better now that I feed the fish in the pond, and water the flowers," Rei replied while still passing away.
