Staycation With Boss

Staycation With Boss
A Changing Assessment

"Have you eaten yet from home?" ask Mrs Ratih.

It feels like when children and daughters-in-law come and are not told to eat it feels awkward. Although the situation itself does not have, but Mr. Ratih offers food to Raka and Adista. After all, children and daughters-in-law come to the house also not every day.

"This morning, ma'am," replied Adista.

"Lunch here. Mom's just gonna take a break," replied Mrs Ratih.

The middle-aged woman immediately headed to the kitchen. Take the three remaining eggs from the refrigerator and mix slices of scallions, onions, garlic, and chili, then give a little salt and flavoring. After that make an omelet, and cut it into pieces.

As for the vegetables, Bu Ratih had made Kale Sauteed this morning. Really simple home cooking is just Sauteed Kangkung and Telor Dadar. Maybe a home menu like this has never been in Raka's house. However, this is the daily and typical home-based food for the Adista family.

"Come, eat first" said Mrs Ratih.

All the families went to the wooden dining table, Mr. Gusti took an additional wooden chair because there were only four chairs there. Apparently now that her in-laws lifted her up, Raka lifted the chair. Yes, Raka took the initiative first.

"Let me, sir," said Raka.

"Even troublesome Nak Raka," replied Mr. Gusti.

"Not bothered at all. You just sit down, sir," said Raka.

Adista watched as her husband picked up and lifted the chair. In his heart it felt warm. It looks like Raka who wants to help and does not allow her Father to lift the chair alone.

"You have a good man, Dista," said Mrs Ratih whispering in Adista's ear.

That was the assessment from Mrs Ratih. Her daughter-in-law is rich, but she wants to help. In addition, Raka has a polite personality as well as to parents. As if it was a positive assessment for Raka from her in-laws.

At the dinner table, Adista brought rice and vegetables for her husband. Adista was also not sure if her husband wanted a very simple home-cooked meal like this. Adista wished Raka would eat it.

"I'm sorry, it's just Nak Raka's potluck" said Mrs Ratih.

"It's okay, Mom. Raka was happy. This is already amazing, Mom," Raka replied.

When eating too, Raka looks so greedy. Sauteed Kale and Telor Dadar it fits the taste of Raka. Sundanese people are also used to enjoying food like this.

"Sister Raka doyan Kangkung yah?" ask Desta.

"Doyan dong, his mother Kak Raka from Sunda. Love to eat vegetables," Raka replied.

"Oh, Miss Erina the Sundanese is also Nak Raka?" ask Mr. Gusti.

"Yes, Sir. Papa from Java. Papa was born in Jakarta. So the taste is Jakarta people," Raka's story.

Now the Adistas know little about his extended family. After finishing a meal together, Adista helps her mother to clean the table. Meanwhile, Raka accompanies Desta to learn English.

"Look, Ta. Your husband is good" said Mrs Ratih.

The assessment did not come suddenly, but in the eyes of Mr. Ratih and Mr. Gusti that his son-in-law was also a good person. When Desta runs the operation only, Raka also accompanies. That proves that Raka is a good person.

"If you have a good husband, the wife must repay him, Ta. Diligent and obedient to the husband. You can accept your husband yet? Sin loh, Ta .. if you still can not accept your own husband," said Mrs Ratih.

"Tuh, just like Desta Raka is also good. A truly kind and sincere person feels, Ta. Natural only, no need to be made up," replied Mrs Ratih.

After cleaning the dining table, Adista observes Raka who can be familiar with her sister. She felt Raka looked good. Even in the week after the contract also Raka tried not to cross the line, although there was only Raka did.

"Kak Raka used to attend college in America? It's good, aren't you?" ask Desta.

"Yes, my brother went to college in America. If Desta wants to go to college in America, a diligent school. Get the best grades, then Desta can get a scholarship to America," Raka replied.

Desta nodded his head. "Yes, Brother. Now Desta can go to school every day. Desta must be diligent, Desta wants to be a successful person like Kak Raka," said Desta.

"Success doesn't come by itself, Desta. Must work hard. If Desta works hard, learns diligently, I believe Desta will be successful really," replied Raka.

"Yes, Brother. Desta wants to make Father and Mother happy" replied Desta.

The desire that starts from a child to both parents. I want to improve my destiny through education. Raka rubbed the top of Desta's head. Raka also prayed that Desta could succeed in the future.

"Desta, you play there. Raka's sister let me rest first with Ma'am Dista. It's a pity that his brother can't rest" said Mrs Ratih.

"Yes, play again, brother."

Adista rested for a while with Raka in her room. Room size is not much. Only a single bed was inside his room. There were no luxury items either, they were all just simple items.

"Sir Raka just rest," said Adista.

"This is your room?" ask Raka.

"Yes, very small and simple. It may be only the size of an ART room in Mama and Papa's house" Adista replied.

Raka shook her head. "Not really. I've never had a problem with that" Raka replied.

"Maybe only as big as Mr. Raka's bathroom," Adista replied again.

Raka shook her head again. He then embraced Adista. "The house is a palace, which is valuable to its inhabitants. Don't compare," said Raka.

"Not comparing, I'm just talking facts. There's not even an AC here" Adista replied.

"It's okay. Here, hug me. Thank you for all you have. Everything is precious" Raka said again.

Adista was warm to hear Raka's words. True what his mother said, her husband is a good figure. Adista's assessment is slowly changing. In the past, she thought that her husband was arrogant and took everything lightly. But Raka is a good person.

Hugged by Raka, Adista now knitted her hands, encircling her husband's waist. While Raka was smiling, usually both of Adista's hands were always shedding, but now there was a reply from her embrace.

"Thank you Mr. Raka is good and dear to Desta," said Adista.

"No need to thank me. Kan Desta my sister too. My sister-in-law, so I love her and hope that Desta will always be healthy and successful later," said Raka.

"Aamiin .. thank you very much Mr. Raka."

Right, Raka's sincerity can be felt by Adista. Not expecting from what he did. Raka did everything sincerely.
