Strongest Prince Becomes Legendary Chef
Reaching Military Base

After going through a long grueling journey, the Orc Refugees finally reached the nearby Orc Kingdom military Base.

They looked elated and accelerated towards the huge fortress made of these gigantic stones.

However, Alex felt that something was wrong with the fortress. No Orcs were seen standing guard over the fort, when they should have welcomed the Refugees at the now wide-open entrance.

“Why is it quiet? Has the military retreated from here?” said one of the Orc Refugees while shouting if there was someone inside the fort.

Oliver immediately activated his Shadow Magic element to find out if there was still a military of the Orc Kingdom hiding in the sizable Citadel.

The fortress also managed to hold the combined forces of the Western Legion and the Central Legion so that it could not advance into the central region of the Orc Kingdom.

“It looks like a day or two ago there was still Orc military forces here,” said Alex noticed the dried Bread marks lying near the entrance gate. However, he saw Oliver's facial expression turn pale, so he became curious what he saw. “Are You—”

Before Alex finished speaking, Oliver replied, “It seems like the entire military force of the Orc Kingdom has become undead. I found their supplies were still plentiful in the logistic warehouse and they seemed to be in a hurry to escape and put up a makeshift resistance, as there was a former fight in the Southern part of Fort.”

Alex's forehead immediately shriveled as he looked towards the South of the Fortress. “Don't tell the refugees about this issue and share them the rest of the logistics in the warehouse. I will take them to the Capital of the Orc Kingdom and I hope the place has not fallen into the hands of the followers of Lord Cthulhu.”

Oliver nodded in agreement with Alex's call. He then looked at Chicie and asked, “How about you, are you going to the Capital too? I think the Orc King already knew about this follower of Lord Cthulhu.”

Chicie thought for a moment before he sighed deeply and said, “I'll follow you wherever you go!”

Alex smiles at Chicie's answer and thinks it's the Power of true love. They will be together until death do them part.

“Then, after we share the supplies in the logistics warehouse on Refugees, then we will go to the City of Peace,” Oliver said with a gentle smile looking at Chicie who was also smiling warmly looking at her lover.

Alex unsheathed the Meteor Sword from his back and walked towards the South of the Fort to investigate whether the followers of the Cthulhu God were still hiding inside the Fortress.

“You be careful on the way later, do not let your guard down and trust strangers. Now it is very difficult to distinguish the times of colleagues and followers of God Cthulhu,” said Alex gave the last advice to Oliver and Chicie, because they might not meet again later.

Oliver takes Chicie to the Logistics warehouse located east of the Fortress.

When Oliver opened the door of the warehouse, the few Orcs who saw him immediately ran there about to take as much food for himself as possible.

However, Oliver's Shadow Magic element held them at the entrance of the logistic warehouse, so the look on their faces turned sour and cursed Oliver.

“Hey, do you want to take all the food for yourself?”

The other Orc refugees began to swarm the logistics warehouse after hearing the commotion, so that the situation outside the warehouse became chaotic because they were jostling with each other, afraid that they would not get food rations.

“Quickly march into two rows!” oliver snapped while releasing his Level 10 Swordsman Aura, which made the refugees feel depressed and have difficulty breathing. “On the Right, for women and children, then the left for teenage Boys and Adult Men!”

No one objected to the rules made by Oliver, the Orc refugees immediately lined up neatly in front of the logistic warehouse door.

“One Person can only take Two Sarahmie and Five Packs of Dried Bread, then you directly continue the journey to the Capital. There is no safe place in this country anymore and do not try to trick me by repeating the queue, if anyone dares then I will kill them!” Oliver said resolutely, so the Orc refugees looked terrified looking at him.

“Quick take your part and get out of here!” chicie exclaimed at the Orcs lined up in the front queue.

The large-bodied Adult Male Orc and the female Orc instantly ran into the bread pile as well as Sarahmie inside the logistics, they took their part quickly and came out from inside the Logistics warehouse.

However, suddenly Oliver's Dagger stuck into the back of the Orc Man who immediately screamed in pain. “I told you already..Take it as I said before and this is the result of breaking my command!”

The other Orc Refugee Crowd was instantly frightened and they carefully took their part without daring to cheat, because they do not want to fate the same as the Orc that was stretched stiff on the surface of the logistic warehouse floor.

Meanwhile in the South of the Fort, Alex was watching the withered grass and it looked as if it was being trampled by a crowd of people as well as heading towards the Southern region or in the same direction as the Capital of the Orc Kingdom.

“Pa-Prince Alex... Which way are we going?” The first female Orc to pick up food in the Logistics warehouse asked Alex who was standing outside the Southern Fort.

“Just follow this withered path,” Alex said, but the Orc Woman looked terrified. “If you are afraid, wait for the others here first and We will leave together,” he said again.

The Orc woman smiled widely and breathed a sigh of relief. He then sat down on the grass and took out a pack of dried Bread from his Bag and ate a third, then the rest he put back.

As Oliver had said, they had to save food because their journey was still long towards the Capital of the Orc Kingdom, the Orc Woman had only eaten a small amount of dried Bread to relieve her hunger.

Alex smiled bitterly at the pitiful sight before him. Although he wanted to help them, but he did not have the ability to help him because he only had Gold Coins that were now worthless.

An hour later, the last Orc who took food in the logistic warehouse finally stepped foot out of the Fortress. She seemed happy not to be left by the refugees alone with her baby in the back row.

After making sure no more Orc Refugees came out of the Fortress, Alex continued their journey with them to the Capital of the Orc Kingdom by following the path of the grass that was withered because it was passed by the corpses.

“Ah, what a pity... We will no longer be adventuring with Prince Alex,” said Chicie who stood atop the Citadel staring at the expanse of Orc refugees walking towards the South.

Oliver smiled, even though he still wanted to adventure with Prince Alex Acherron. However, he realizes his abilities are very weak against the followers of the God Cthulhu and He will not always be lucky to be saved by Alex later.
