Monsters From the Ocean

The Mermaid Saint knew what the Mermaid Queen was thinking at the moment. He also said, “In addition to the danger of Monsters from the Ocean. What I fear is the powerful entity that drove the God Cthulhu to the Grandland Continent. I'm afraid they've come to the Grandland Continent and we can't fight them because the Gods have long left us.”

The Mermaid Queen finally understood what the Mermaid Saint was worried about, the only Mermaid that had remained alive from the God era was still in the Grandland Continent.

“Then what will we do?” The Mermaid Queen was confused, facing the Monsters from the deep sea alone her Kingdom was in trouble let alone having to fight against an entity as powerful as God Cthulhu.

The Mermaid Saint recalled the words of the Mermaid Queen earlier, that there had appeared a God in the Grandland Continent and it was that God who defeated the God Cthulhu. However, he doubted the God was genuine, though, because God Poseidon said Goddess Luna had predicted there would appear Swordsman who could use all Magic Elements in the future and that figure might be able to defeat God Cthulhu when absorbing the Power they left behind.

“Who is now the strongest Swordsman in Grandland Continent?” asked the Mermaid Saint suspect that the Swordsman claimed to be the God.

“According to the information sent by Avena City Council, the Human Swordsman named Alex is the strongest at the moment. He had surpassed the level 10 Swordsman and the Life Magic Element he used against the followers of the God Cthulhu was similar to the one used by the mysterious God,” said the Mermaid Queen.

The Mermaid Saint felt, it was unmistakable that the Human Swordsman was the same figure as the God who defeated the God Cthulhu.

The Mermaid Saint then took out a small glass bottle filled with liquid that God Poseidon had given him. “Give this to the Swordsman Alex and also tell the whole Kingdom in the Grandland Continent to get ready to face the enemies coming from the sea.”

Carefully the Mermaid Queen received the glass bottle, then she promised to tell her that the Shield that protected the Grandland Continent had vanished.

The Mermaid Queen also immediately had the strongest Mermaid Swordsman deliver the glass bottle to the City of Peace and had the City God Avena give it to Alex Acherron.

Meanwhile, on the outer Island of the Demon Kingdom, Lycus is overjoyed that Nathan has managed to find what they are looking for. He also praised the youngest member of the Hercules Organization who became the level 10 Swordsman.

“Your Majesty look at that!” exclaimed his other subordinates pointing towards the ocean.

From the direction of the Ocean appears Shark Monster as big as a small Island swimming towards the Island. Waves as high as the Coconut Tree first hit the Island as the giant monster swam in the shallow sea.

“Call our mounts,” says Lycus, “let the Demon Kingdom overcome the Monsters that emerge from the Ocean. It is precisely those Monsters that help ease our task of eliminating the Devil Race.”

Lycus smiled widely, as the Demon Kingdom consisted of Thousands of Islands along the West of the Grandland Continent. While the Human Race might not be too preoccupied by the threat of those Monsters, since the southern tip of the Hazel Empire was an ice plain that froze through time and the eastern part was bordered by the Orc Kingdom, then the Western shores of the Hazel Empire would be protected by the Demon Kingdom Islands.

“Your Highness Lycus, the mounts have already landed on the page of the Temple!” Nathan called out to Lycus who was focused on staring at the Shark Monster that was about to reach the Island.

“Alright, let's leave this Island,” said Lycus walked towards the Temple courtyard and climbed onto the back of the Black Eagle Monster.

Not long after, the Island was sunk by the huge waves and the mouth of the Shark Monster gaped wide as it leaped high in the air about to swallow the Black Eagle Monster. However, the Black Eagle Monster darted flying quickly avoiding the Shark Monster.

Lycus thought for a moment and said, “It is difficult to guess which of us will win if I fight him. However, if I have the living corpses of the Fish Monster, then I can definitely defeat him.”

Nathan did not expect Lycus to be that strong, even though as a level 10 Swordsman he felt he would not be able to fight the Shark Monster even though his Ice Magic Element can freeze sea water around the Shark Monster.

A thunderstorm accompanied by heavy rain occurred in the middle of the Ocean, the waves in the ocean reached Hundreds of Meters.

“Kill that fucking Wyvern Monster!” shouted William who was busy patching a hole at the bottom of the ship.

A Lightning Strike failed to be fended off by the lightning rod Magic tool. If the hole was not patched, it was likely that the hole would widen and damage the Magic Flying Ship.

“It looks like we'll eat Monster meat tonight!” sahut Ulrich tied his body with a rope and jumped from the Magic Flying Ship while swinging his sword which had been enveloped in Magic. “Magic Goddess Gives My Sword with Tornado Wind Magic; Tornadoooooo Blade!”

After the recantation of Ulrich's Magic spell was uttered, from his blade darted the Tornado-shaped wind blades that shot towards the Wyvern Monster, the Dragon-like Monster.

The busy Wyvern Monster disturbs William by surprise at Ulrich's Magic attack. He tried to move away while flapping his wings which instantly released a gust of strong wind. However, Ulrich was one of the strongest Magicians in the Vlorien Continent, so facing the Wyvern Monster was just like facing a wild dove for him.

The Feathers of the Wyvern Monster instantly flew, separated from its body. A moment later, his wings were torn apart as well as his body.

Ulrich caught the flesh of the Wyvern Monsters darting towards him, then he smiled broadly as they would then meat the Monsters later that night. However, his comrades on board the Magic Flying Ship cursed him for wasting most of the Wyvern Monster's flesh.

“Hey, I have trouble seeing because of the blood of this damn Monster!” William complained and looked at Ulrich in annoyance, but Ulrich only laughed in response to his complaint.

“Quickly repair the Ship so that We can get out of this lightning storm!” ulrich's exclamation bound the flesh of the Wyvern Monster and hung near William to guard it, knowing there was still a Wyvern Monster in the thunderstorm.

“Her Magic Tools detect big land!” A Witch shouted loudly from atop the Ship. “However, We still need another Six Months when flying at high speed,” he said again.

Ulrich was thrilled to hear that, finally their long journey came to fruition. William was also increasingly eager to patch a hole in the hull of the ship.

“If only we could communicate with the Great Witch about this good news,” Ulrich said with a long sigh. “Somehow what is happening in the South of the Vlorien Continent at the moment, somehow I always feel worried.”

“Don't worry, our colleagues must be fine. The B.a.j.i.n.g.a.n Holy Knights must be busy also searching for that new Continent.” William comforts Ulrich. “Woi, pull the rope, I have to shower immediately. The blood of that damn monster is disgusting!” his gerrick.
