Kayla's lips trembled, she tried to hold back her tears from falling in front of the man. Her biological father preferred a half-sister and another woman over her and her mother. Kayla's heartache was seeing the man. Kayla's illness is when she recalls her happy and wonderful childhood, with Laura and Jason.
"Well, it's okay if you don't want to acknowledge papa as your papa. Because that man deserves to be your father. But Kay.. Can you ask for something with you?" jason asked as he held Kayla's hand gently.
"Ask what?" kayla asked in a cold and stern voice.
"May you hug me one last time, son?" Jason asked to hug Kayla, I don't know what she meant by the last word.
Her words made Kayla turn her head towards Jason, looking at him full of questions and curiosity. What happened to her real father? Why did she suddenly meet Kayla and apologize to her after everything she did? Is it because he's lonely living alone? Or because he regretted all his actions?
Kayla knows that Selina is dead and Risya is also sentenced to life. Surely Jason's alone now, and Kayla has a little pity on him.

Jason let go of his embrace slowly, then stroked Kayla's long hair lovingly. "You still like long hair, son? Do you still like braiding too?" Jason smiled bitterly, he remembered that when Kayla was a child she always asked Jason to braid her hair.
Kayla turns her face away from Jason, she doesn't want to hear what Jason says or get touched by Jason. Jason's heart is hurting because Kayla rejected him, but he knows that this is worth it.
"I'm sorry sir, have a nice day" Kayla said, she held back the water that would spill in her eyes. His lips were pulled down.
"Tell your mama, if you have confessed your sins in front of you and you have forgiven your father" Jason smiled at his son's back. He did not expect that Kayla was that big and grew into a very beautiful girl.
"Have you met my mom?" kayla asked without looking at Jason and turned her back.
"Yes, papa met your mom and apologized to her. Then your mama told me to go see you, because you're the one who's hurt the most by papa's treatment. Papa apologizes Kay.." Jason was crying looking at his daughter.
Kayla walked away, she could no longer hold back her tears. She won't cry in front of Jason or anyone else. Jason didn't catch up with Kayla, he was still there.

Damar is shocked to hear Jason confessing to him as Kayla's father. He only knows that Leon is Kayla's father.
"It wasn't papa Kayla.."
"Yes right, Kayla's papa is forever Leon. I don't deserve to be Kayla's father" Jason smiled bitterly, admitting he didn't deserve to be Kayla's father.
