THE TRUTH

Melody got up from her seat as she looked at Claudia who had just come with Sam. Claudia was immediately picked up by Sam to the city airport, moments after the Melody twin brother arrived.

Claudia immediately ran to hug Melody who was just sculpting.

"Sorry!" Claudia muttered regretfully.

"You brought what I asked for?" Melody asked another question.

"I've been looking for him on the shelf you said. But there's nothing. There are no old books tied to hemp ropes or old photos on the shelves" Claudia told Melody.

Melody asked Claudia to find a book she found in the library of Papa Harun's house. Melody thought that it might be Papa Aaron returning it. But it doesn't seem to.

"It seems to have been hidden by Mr. Aaron," muttered Melody guessing.

"What are photos and books?" Claudia asked full of questions.

"Pak Harun's photo with a woman who is pregnant"

"Mother?" Claudia interrupted quickly.

"No! His face was different," Melody replied as she shook her head.

"Perhaps it was a woman named Marlina whose tomb was frequented by papa," Claudia again guessed.

"You know the book?" Claudia asked Melody again.

"I haven't read it yet and Mr. Aaron has taken it. His face looks angry."

"Do you know who Marlina is?" Melody asked Claudia.

"I don't know! But I know!" Claudia replied as she pulled Melody's arm and led the girl into Ms. Ayana's nursery.

"Mel, you're darima-" Bu Ayana's voice choked in her throat as the middle-aged woman looked at the two Melody before her.

Why are there two Melody?

"Mother!" Claudia who first approached Bu Ayana and hugged the middle-aged woman. While Melody was still in her place and did not say a word.

"Handmooing?" Mumbled Bu Ayana after touching Claudia's back covered in a simple peach-colored shirt. Claudia frowned And looked confusedly at Bu Ayana who called her Senandung.

"That's your name at birth, Clau!" Melody answered Claudia's confusion.

"You Smiling?" Ask Bu Ayana again while cupping Claudia's face, checking each of her skulls.

"Mother really misses you,"Bu Ayana hugged Claudia again. Even with Melody, whose eyes now glazed over to see Bu Ayana who finally met again with Senandung after almost twenty-four years apart.

"Where did you meet Senandung, Mel?" Bu Ayana asked next to Melody who hurriedly wiped away her tears. Melody approached her mother and twin brother, then hugged them both.

"Name now Claudia, Mom!" Melody explained to her mother.

"Claudia?"

"Claudia Setyawan to be precise. The daughter of Aaron Setyawan," continued Melody again which of course immediately made Bu Ayana stunned.

"Harun Setyawan?" Bu Ayana's voice rang out as she called out the name.

The only person in the world who doesn't want Bu Ayana to see or hear his name is Aaron Setyawan. Baj*ngan man who has made Bu Ayana's life ruined.

"Is Mr. Aaron Setyawan the birth father of Melody and Claudia, Mom?" Melody asked next demanding an answer as well as an explanation from the mother.

"He doesn't deserve to be your biological father! He's a man be-" Bu Ayana has not finished her sentence, when suddenly the door of the treatment room has been slammed open. There was Papa Aaron who was already standing there and displaying an angry look on his face.

"Father!" Claudia muttered in shock. Even with Melody and Bu Ayana who were shocked, but the two women were just silent and did not say a word.

"Claudia, let's go home!" Papa Aaron's orders forced as he approached Claudia who was quickly pulled by Bu Ayana.

Even with Melody who immediately close her position closer to the mother.

"Don't try to take my son away! You have no right!" Gertak Bu Ayana returned Papa Harun's angry gaze.

"I raised him twenty-four years! So Claudia is my son!"

"Basic killer!" Papa Aaron stared fiercely at Bu Ayana.

"I'm not a killer!" Deny Ms Ayana with a loud voice!

After decades of harboring everything, Ms. Ayana will defend herself today and this second. Ms. Ayana will tell you the truth so that she does not continue to be accused of murder by Aaron Baj*ngan.

"Mas, tomorrow is Sunday, we're eating at that street front stall, yeah!"

"I have an appointment to play golf with my colleagues. Next time we eat it, yeah! You'll have Ayana buy it tomorrow."

Aaron chuckles at Marlina's theory.

"I'm going to buy it tomorrow, with Ayana, period!" Marlina again remained stubborn.

Papa Aaron was still silent and looked at Bu Ayana whose face was getting older. The woman's hair was even bleached in some parts just like that of Papa Aaron.

Decades have passed and Papa Aaron is still blinded by all his accusations against Bu Ayana. Papa Aaron instead stared alternately at his two daughters whose faces were so similar and almost the same.

Bu Ayana had given birth to two beautiful daughters for Papa Aaron, but Papa Aaron's hatred for this woman was still ingrained. Papa Aaron doesn't know why.

"You think I'm gonna believe your lies?" Papa Aaron looked back fiercely at Bu Ayana.

"You're still a hunter"

"You call me a murderer! Then what are you yourself? The lecherous man who has taken away the honor of a girl, raped her heartlessly, never minding her as he fought for nine months pregnant with your two daughters!"

"Then you easily took Senandung without thinking about how I bet my life to give birth to it! How could I bear the disgrace of being pregnant without a husband!"

"You're even worse than a murderer!"

"You're a depraved man and a baj*ngan, Aaron!" Bu Ayana's shout released all the emotions that she had been craving for twenty-four years.

Papa Aaron's heart seemed to be pierced by a dagger while listening to Bu Ayana's slurs.

"Papa's really gone too far!" Claudia looked hatefully at Papa Aaron. Even with Melody who despite not saying anything, but the look in the eyes of the girl is the same as Claudia.

"Go from my life and from the lives of my two daughters!" Bu Ayana expels Papa Harun while hugging Claudia and Melody.

"They are my daughters too!" Papa Harun replied, withdrawing Claudia's hand.

"Claudia wants to be here with mom!" Shouted Claudia again who kept thrashing.

"Don't be stubborn, Clau!" Snapped Papa Harun fiercely.

"Deliver!"

"Brah!" Claudia shouted to Sam who had just been silent watching the debate between Bu Ayana and Papa Aaron.

"Sam! Don't try to interfere!" Papa Aaron's bluff warned Sam fiercely. Sam doesn't help Claudia and stays in her place.

"Let go, Pa!" Claudia continued to thrash until Papa Aaron was overwhelmed and finally released her grip on Claudia's arm.

"Bad papa!" Maki Claudia before the woman came back closer to Bu Ayana and Melody.

"Go from here!" Banish Bu Ayana once again at Papa Aaron whose face looks frustrated.

"Papa will not remain silent, Clau!" Threatening Papa Aaron to Claudia.

"Clau is not afraid!" reply Claudia dare.

"And cancel Clau's engagement to Matthew! The man is as baj*ngannya with Papa!" The last sentence made by Claudia was directly delicatan gift from Papa Aaron.
