The atmosphere suddenly became quiet after Sam introduced the woman named Kate as his future wife.

Is that how fast Sam moved on from Melody?

Melody thought Sam was waiting for Melody.

But why is Sam waiting for Melody?

The day Melody turned herself in to Matthew, maybe Sam's feelings for Melody had evaporated away.

"It's really surprising, Sam! You and Miss Steinberg?" Matthew made sure to point at Kate.

"You know me?"

"Yes, I've seen your face once when your father, Mr. Steinberg, introduced you to the public as the new head of the Steinberg Company" Matthew said, apparently knowing about Sam's future wife.

Matthew accidentally invites Melody to Sam's house so that Melody knows that Sam already has a wife, and Melody feels heartbroken.

Melody turned her head and stared in disbelief at Matthew. But Melody's heart still could not stop to accuse Matthew.

Or maybe Miss Steinberg was just Matthew's man to seduce Sam and claim to be Sam's future wife in front of Melody? But what does Matthew mean by doing all that? So Melody hates Sam?

"Sorry, everyone. But I have a sudden business and I have to go now" Kate's remark quickly disperse Melody's daydream.

"I delivered" said Sam, clutching Kate's arm.

"I went with the driver. You still have guests, too" Kate replied with a smile. Kate kisses Sam's lips briefly, before the woman bids Matthew and Melody once more, then exits the main door of Sam's house.

"So you're getting married, Sam?" Melody asked looking sadly at Sam.

"Yes. Aren't you also married to Matthew and you'll have a baby soon." Sam stared fixedly at Melody's increasingly sad face.

"But I thought -" Melody's voice choked in her throat along with Matthew's phone that suddenly rang.

"I'll pick up the phone first, excuse me!" Pamit Matthew went out to Sam's porch to pick up the phone.

Sam changed seats to be next to Melody. The man grabbed Melody's hands and held her.

"I never loved Matthew."

"Then I wanted to marry him just for Papa's company" Melody was already teary-eyed now.

"But Matthew is your husband, Mel!"

"You must learn to accept and love him"

"I can't!" Melody interrupted Sam's sentence with an already elevated tone of voice.

"I just love you" Melody said again almost without a sound.

"Destrain away from that feeling of yours!" Said Sam firmly.

"You don't really want to marry Miss Kate, do you? You're just looking for an escape! You don't really love her!" Melody's frown is growing teary-eyed.

"I love her, Mel!" Said Sam firmly while wiping away the tears on both cheeks of Melody.

"I love Kate. And again we have known for a long time. Me and Kate were friends when we were in college, before Kate moved abroad," Sam told me at length about his relationship with Kate which of course made Melody's heart ache.

"It's time we live out our own destiny, Mel!"

"Matthew has changed a lot and he's a good guy now. Try to open your heart and give Matthew a chance!" Sam's advice that immediately made Melody's cry again broke.

"Matthew will make you happy. You just need to give him a chance," continued Sam again who increasingly tighten his grip on Melody.

"What if it turns out Matthew hasn't changed and he's back to being the old Matthew?" Melody asked expressing her fear.

Sam was silent for a moment, then turned his gaze towards Matthew who was already standing in the doorway.

"That's not going to happen" Sam replied, grabbing a tissue on the table to wipe away Melody's tears.

"This is my wedding invitation and Kate's. I hope you will be able to come with Matthew later," concluded Sam as he rose from his seat and left Melody still crying in the living room of his house.

"Brah!" Matthew grabbed Sam's rough shoulder and seemed to be about to get the man to talk seriously.

"Bring your wife home, Matt!" Send Sam to Matthew.

"No!"

"I'm here to take Melody to you! Can't I just cancel your wedding with Kate and get back to Melody?"

"Melody loves you!" Said Matthew firmly which even made Sam laugh in disbelief.

"Are you crazy, Matt?"

"You drove your own wife to another man, and easily told him to accept your wife?" Sam's laughter is getting louder now.

"Yes! I am crazy! I just can't see Melody constantly grieving over being forced to separate from you!"

"If Melody's happiness is only with you, then I will let Melody go with you and I will no longer interfere with your relationship."

"But please cancel your wedding and don't leave Melody!" Matthew pleaded with Sam.

"Can't! Sorry!" Sam quickly refused Matthew's request.

"Sam, please don't be selfish! Think of Melody's feelings!" Matthew was losing patience.

"You should be thinking about Melody's feelings!" Sam turned to Matthew.

"You're her husband, Matthew! Try to be a responsible husband!"

"I'm in charge!" Sergey Matthew is quick.

"I love Melody. Loved her. But if Melody only teets me when I'm with her, wouldn't I just let her go and let her be happy with the man she loves, you!" Matthew said at length that immediately made Sam laugh cynically.

"It's very hypocritical if your thinking is like that!"

"If you really love Melody and really love her, you should prove it to Melody!"

"Don't just want to enjoy Melody's virginity, try to conquer her heart, Matt!"

"If you've given up like this, do I still deserve to call you a man?" Sam's blandness at length which of course immediately made Matthew's heart feel stifled.

"You've already taken Melody's most precious possession by force, so it's only natural that Melody is still angry with you now."

"And if you're the man in charge, you've been trying for a day to make Melody stop being mad at you, and accept you as her husband, Matt!"

"You gotta try!" Said Sam once again advising Matthew at length.

"You really don't want to break up your marriage to Kate and leave Melody heartbroken?" Matthew asked still in disbelief.

"There are you who will heal Melody's heart. So what should I worry about?" Answer Sam casually.

"In addition, the day I drove Melody home, my feelings for Melody were also released and I buried her inside." Sam raised his voice because the man knew Melody was eavesdropping on Matthew.

"And again, Kate's pregnant right now. So I'm not going to cancel our marriage" Sam concluded before the man walked out of his kitchen and left Matthew.

Hearing Sam who was about to get out of the kitchen, Melody quickly left her place eavesdropping and immediately walked out of Sam's house. The woman got into Matthew's car and broke back into tears.

Matthew got into the car after a while. The man did not say a word and just thrust the tissue towards Melody, staring fixedly at Melody who had not stopped crying.

"I-" Melody said in a stammer.

"I want to meet mom," continued Melody still with a stammering voice.

"I'll take you," replied Matthew, whose hand had been stretched out to help wipe Melody's tears. Matthew calls Erlan briefly, before the man drives his car away from Sam's house.
