64. Oliver's rage.

After Xena left the place Darent just left the restaurant and immediately contacted his assistant at the office.

"Yes, Mr. Maxime", he answered Darent.

"Where is Oliver now?", he asked worriedly at his assistant.

"Young master is still busy with his work right now, is there anything I have to say or....".

"Make him so busy today that he forgets time", Drent's orders to the assistant that leave his assistant a little confused by Darent's orders but still carry them out.

"Well Mr. Maxime I will have the young master check the financial statements for these past three months to keep him busy".

"Yes do. if you manage to distract him today I will add your bonus next month", said Darent who makes the assistant immediately happy to hear it.

"Mr Maxime told you today to complete all financial statements over the next 3 months to... ".

"Can you stop calling me that I told you I don't want everyone to know who I am now",oliver grumbled a little annoyed not just at his Daddy assistant but at the amount of work he had to do today until he had absolutely no time to send a message to Xena to ask how he was now.

"I'm sorry I just... ".

"Forget it, now you can come out I'll try to finish it" Oliver replied to his Daddy's assistant.

With trembling hands Oliver grabbed his car keys and walked half-run out of his room because he knew something bad had happened when he was off guard or deliberately made off guard.

Seeing Oliver's emotional Assistant Darent immediately asks the security officer to help him hold Oliver back from leaving.

"Sorry young master we are just following orders from Mr. Darent, we don't mean to do this to you" said the assistant accompanied by several bodyguards and office security officers who guarded Oliver inside Darent's office.

Oliver just kept quiet by wiping the corner of his lips that bleed because he had been hit while trying to get into his car earlier.

Long enough Oliver was silent to calm his anger only after he felt he could control himself he looked at everyone in the room one by one which was almost ten people and he knew even though he could run away but it must be too late because it looks like the Daddy has prepared everything perfectly.

"I want to meet the old man", Oliver said coldly to all of them.

"That's.. young master...".

"Leave us both let us talk both! ",Darent orders from the door of his room which is immediately taken by all his men by leaving the place.

Darent sat across from Oliver in his study couch staring at Oliver who was also staring at him with an ice-cold look.

"Did your wound hurt?" asked Darent, noticing the wound wide enough at the corner of Oliver's lip.

"Yes.very sick",oliver's reply that made Darent immediately frown and try to touch the wound of Oliver's lips that did look quite severe but before Darent's hand managed to touch him Oliver had brushed Darent's hand hard to make Darent feel disillusioned.

"I just wanted to check it out sorry", replied Darent.

"It's not there that's sick but here does Daddy know what it's like right now" Oliver said softly but coldly by pointing at his heart that feels very painful now.

Darent is silent at Oliver's words there is little guilt about having done that to his son, but as a father he is convinced that what he is doing now is best for Oliver.

He doesn't want Oliver's future ruined just because of an unhealthy relationship with a woman who deserves to be his mother.

"Why did Daddy do it?", asked Oliver with a knife-sharp look at Darent.

"What do you mean?!", asked Darent with a frown upon hearing Oliver's question.

"What did Daddy do to her?", asked Oliver fixed his gaze on Darent.

"Daddy just asked him to leave you that's it and just so you know Daddy's doing this for your own good because he doesn't deserve you you should be aware of that,if you are dating a woman with her stepdaughter Daddy will certainly not hinder her but this.why do you have to be with Xena a woman who is more worthy of being your Mommy's successor than your lover!! ", obviously Darent was getting upset at Oliver who was judging him right now.

"But I love him, not that, but we love each other and I'm trying to get him to accept me, but Daddy's ruining all my efforts just because of Daddy's selfishness".

"Do you not understand Daddy is doing this for your own good maybe you are now angry with Daddy but Daddy is sure soon you will be grateful for what Daddy has done".

"Really?!", what if it doesn't, what if it makes our relationship worse or makes me change....".

"Stop Oliver don't threaten me, I'm your Daddy!".

"Daddy thought it would make my feelings for Xena change",oliver answered more cynically to himself than keDarent because he felt that the power of the Daddy could still make Xena choose to leave him while his love for the woman seemed forgotten.
