98. Let's Talk "
Oliver got up from the bed and walked out of his room in slow steps so as not to wake Alea and Xena who were fast asleep at the time.
After exiting the room Oliver immediately walked down the stairs towards the front.
In the dining room he passed by his housemaid who was busy cleaning the dining table.
"Young master", greet them with a bow of respect to Oliver which Oliver replied with a nod back.
"Where are my Daddy and Vania?", Oliver asked the waiter.
"The great master was in his study while Miss Vania was in the room" the servant explained.
Hearing a description from the waiter about the whereabouts of his Daddy Oliver immediately stepped out of the dining room.
"You didn't have lunch first young master?", asked the waiter respectfully.
"Later on" Oliver replied, leaving the dining room to go to Daddy's office.
In front of the workspace, Daddy Oliver knocks on the door.
"Who? ",asked Darent from inside the room.
"It's me Dad, can I come in? ",asked Oliver by starting to open the door of Drent's office with the position of just bending his head from behind the door.
Darent looked at Oliver with a difficult gaze to interpret because when he saw Oliver doing it he remembered Oliver's habits as a child if you want to talk or ask him for something.
"Oh.. Come in. I happen to be done".
After getting Darent's approval, Oliver walks into Drent's workspace, which hasn't changed at all.
Oliver sat in front of Darent who was staring at Oliver with longing feelings.
"There's something I want to talk to Daddy about" Oliver said after they sat down.
"What's so important? ",Darent asked curiously.
"Yes.it's about Alea and Xena".
Darent was silent about not reacting to Oliver.
Seeing Darent just silent Oliver continued his words.
"I'm sure Daddy already knows that Xena is back and also about Alea's true status".
"Yes. then? ".
"Actually that's not what I'm trying to say".
"Then? ".
"It's about Xena, I want to officially register my marriage with her".
"Wedding?, you mean you want to marry her now? ".
"Actually three years ago we were married but only rightly before God".
Oliver paused for a moment to wait for Darent's reaction, who looked surprised by what he had just said, but did not say anything to Oliver and chose to wait for Oliver to continue speaking.
"And now that Xena's back I intend to register our marriage to be officially legal".
"Have you guys talked about this before?", asked Darent expressionlessly.
This time Darent was really surprised to hear Oliver's last words.
"What do you mean the baby she's carrying, is Xena pregnant right now?!".
"Yes Dad, though, she's pregnant with my son again and this time I don't want to miss every moment in her life like Alea did so please don't try to interfere or prevent me from gathering again with them".
"But, don't you have Bianca...".
"I ended my relationship with him because I knew it wouldn't work out".
Darent stared at Oliver silently as if assessing the seriousness of everything Oliver said.
"Oliver I guess before you take me to talk you've thought everything over even Xena and Alea's protection so I can't bother them am I right?".
"Yes, this time I won't budge like three years ago Dad and I don't want to give Daddy the chance to influence or take Xena away from me like I used to".
"When did you know Xena's disguise? ".
"Daddy thinks I can be fooled even though Daddy told Xena to dress up to be Miss Wilson?. Daddy's wrong I know Xena so well....".
"Then what about her current pregnancy did you deliberately plan it, so that she could not escape from you anymore and I also could not separate you again",darent asked by staring at the front door of his study because he had seen the thick shadow of a woman's clothes outside the door of his study.
"Honestly yes, I really wish she was pregnant with my son so that she can't escape from my side like she used to".
Darent leaned back in the chair and then looked back at the door of his study sharply to make Oliver realize there was something behind him and immediately turned to look at Darent.
Oliver was shocked when he saw Xena standing in front of his father's office door with a difficult expression to interpret.
Without waiting for Oliver immediately got up from his seat and walked over to Xena who remained in his place until Oliver arrived beside him.
"Honey... You're awake?", asked Oliver trying to reach Xena's body but Xena refused to make Oliver surprised and worried Xena misunderstood the intention of talking to Darent earlier.
"Xena... ",Call Oliver trying to explain to Xena about the purpose of his words so that there is no misunderstanding between them but Xena seems reluctant to follow Oliver's wishes.
"I left Alea in my own room can you see it for me.Whether she's awake now or not",pinta Xena with an expressive plea to Oliver made Oliver afraid and nervous to hear it and a bad thought suddenly crossed his mind.
"Xena...we've talked about this before, haven't we?, so please don't think badly about what I said to Daddy just now because... ".
"Can you check on Alea for a second King I need to talk to Mr. Maxime for a moment".
"Honey." said Oliver with a very worried expression that Xena would repeat the incident three years ago after talking to Darent.
"Please King.we need to speak up to straighten out the misunderstanding three years ago before we go any further" Xena asked Oliver who reluctantly nodded his head.
"Well I'll go check on Alea and I hope you two can talk like two adults right now" Oliver replies by walking away from Darent's study to give Xena and Darent time to talk.
After Oliver is no longer seen, Xena walks into Darent's office and accidentally closes the door so Oliver or no one hears their conversation later.
"Sit down Xena", ask Darent to let Xena sit in front of him.
With steady steps Xena followed what the father of Daddy ordered her son's son.
"How have you been all this time, Mr. Darent Maxime? ",Xena asked with a sharp look towards Darent.
"As you can see now I'm getting older than three years ago of course" Darent replied by leaning his body into his working chair.
"Yes that I can see and it seems like for three years not meeting your relationship and your son changed a lot" Xena said by leaning on his body like Darent without letting go of his gaze from the old man.
