Ch. 135 - Battle of the Xin Clan
The Xin Clan Residence.
Groarr!
"Quick! Protect the Madam and Young Miss!" Xin Nian shouted as she faced the demonic beast and killed it instantly.
Xin Wanying was in the middle of a demonic beast attack, dodging and even occasionally successfully counterattacking. His movements showed that he had some experience in dealing with demonic beasts.
"Son, don't be rash!" Xin Zhi shouted as she saw Xin Wanying had surrounded at least three demonic beasts.
Xin Zhi also attacked several times while successfully defending herself from the various attacks of demonic beasts that came attacking in the other direction. Even though his original strength was at the level of a three-star King, he could barely show his currently still recovering strength that was only at the level of the Great Heaven.
Xin Nian and a few guards moved and managed to form a circle where they protected Xin Zhi and Xin Wanying. Amongst them other than Xin Nian, there was only one one one-star King level guard, whereas the others were baradas at the Heaven and Great Heaven Level.
Xin Wanying was currently already panting heavily while trying to catch his breath. He held his sword tightly in his delicate hand.
"Son, are you okay?" Xin Zhi approached Xin Wanying, while watching her daughter's entire body and making sure she was okay.
"I'm fine, Mom. It's just, I feel so tired." Xin Wanying looked around and frowned.
It seemed that more and more demon beasts were gathering. There were now nearly fifty demonic beasts even though they had killed over ten demonic beasts.
"Madam, we will be careful to block this demonic beast, so once we make a gap, you guys will have to escape!" Xi Nian warned Xin Zhi and Xin Wanying that they should escape by any means.
Xin Zhi did not reply, there was doubt on her face. He didn't want to leave these people. Xin Wanying also did not respond to Xin Nian's words.
"Let's fight until we finish off all these demonic beasts!" Xin Wanying tightened his grip on his sword and said while looking at all the demonic beasts that had surrounded them. Nor will he leave those close to him.
As if responding to Xin Wanying's beliefs, the demonic beasts roared loudly as they threw themselves towards them.
Xin Nian and the other guards responded quickly, blocking all incoming attacks with their swords and weapons.
Xin Zhi and Xin Wanying were at the back.
Xin Wanying then moved quickly, as if making an elegant sword dance as he dodged and attacked the demonic beast.
His strength was currently at the Three-star Heaven rank level, so he could still deal with some of the surrounding ferocious beasts with some difficulty.
Sretta!!!
Xin Wanying managed to forcefully cut off one of the legs of the demonic beast while dancing amidst the rain of attacks of other demonic beasts.
Grooaarrre!
The demonic beast roared furiously and lunged at Xin Wanying without caring about anything else.
Xin Wanying was ready and quickly dodged. He then launched another direct attack onto the demon beast's head, stabbing it directly and killing it.
Even though he killed this demonic beast, it seemed that battle and killing could not yet conceal his determination. His smooth and elegant movements somehow brought elegance and glory in each of his sword attacks.
Xin Zhi also moved quickly, still with some stiff movements as her body and inner strength had yet to fully recover.
Quickly, Xin Zhi moved her sword sideways to slash the body of the demonic beast and kill it.
"There's too much of this demon biantang ... Why are they getting more and more?!" Xin Zhi quickly scanned her surroundings and discovered that over time, the demonic beasts that came were more and more numerous.
There were only 40 demonic beasts at first and it grew to 50. But now, their numbers are growing and numerous.
"How can this demonic beast enter the city?"
Every member of the Xin clan wondered when they saw that their situation was now not improving.
Trangs.. Trangs...
Groarr!!
A dying roar was heard followed by the sound of a clash of weapons..
Xin Wanying managed to kill another demonic beast as he unsheathed his sword and rejoined his family members.
His breathing showed that he was at his limit. Facing some demonic beasts was extremely difficult. Her dress was filled with dirt and in some places one could see her cloth torn as the claws of the demonic beast almost touched her body, so she could not prevent her clothes from being torn in the slightest.
"What should we do?" Xin Wanying asked as he looked up at the sky, as if he wanted to get an answer and there was a solution because numerous demonic beasts had surrounded them. The distance between them and the demon biantang that surrounded them was only a few steps away.
This demon star only attacks at any time.
Suddenly...
"Xin Wanying's! If you agree to be my woman, I'll save your life!"
A scream sounded in the middle of the battle.
Xin Wanying was startled and looked for the source of this voice shout. All the members of the Xin Clan turned their heads to see also where the voice came from
Everyone was shocked when they saw the second young master of the Luo family behind the demonic beast. It was as if he was surrounded by all those demonic beasts, with none of them doing anything to him.
Xin Wanying opened his eyes in disbelief as he looked at Luo Feng. He knew it was this young man who shouted those words just now.
But the screams from before were no problem for him. What made Xin Wanying ask around was how this Luo Feng could safely be among all those demonic beasts.
Luo Feng then moved his hand and the demonic beast invaded back the members of the Xin clan.
All the guards of the Xin Clan put up a fight fiercely, getting slightly more injuries as they tried to repel this small horde of demonic beasts.
Xin Wanying was annoyed and increasingly swung his sword, successfully injuring and even killing some demonic beasts on the spot.
Luo Feng only sneered at the efforts of this Xin family member. He would not kill Xin Wanying for wanting to, so if they refused, he would slaughter all of them except to let Xin Wanying live to be his wife.
"If you agree to be my woman, I won't kill your family." Luo Feng's voice sounded again. His face had an arrogant smile as he looked at Xin Wanying with a full of n4psu, waiting for an answer. He was sure this woman would give up and then hug him under her feet, making him enjoy her body and serve her as a servant.
Xin Wanying did not respond and simply looked at Luo Feng with disdain and hatred. He doesn't like people like this. She'd rather die than be that kind of bastard
But the truth is always different. All the remaining members of the Xin family were guarding the Xin Clan's residence as most of the troops as well as their patriarch were leaving the clan to join the hunt for the hordes of demonic beasts outside Tinyun City. Now they're sure they're gonna die today.
Xin Wanying approached her mother, if she was going to die, at least she would die with her mother. Xin Zhi lovingly hugged her daughter. Aversion could be seen within him, but there was nothing else they could do.
Just as Luo Feng was about to make a demonic beast attack again, a flat voice sounded.
"Huftt !!! I really don't know why there's always a stupid boy like you everywhere..."
A lazy and indifferent voice sounded in the air, clearly different from Luo Feng's tone of voice.
