Ch. 235 - Asking for Restu
Some time later, everyone who was taught to cultivate by Fei Hung finally came one after another.
"Isn't Meng'er with you?" Xin Zhi asked, not seeing Lin Meng with the other girls after such a long time.
Lin Dong also looked at Fei Hung, wanting to know if his daughter was okay.
"He's still in the room, maybe he'll come out later." Fei Hung responded quickly, getting an intense gaze from Xin Zhi and then slightly laughed.
"You can all wait in the yard, and I'll be gone in a minute while we wait for the others to come." Fei Hung commented to those who came. After a while, he spoke again, "Aunt Ruo, uncle Chang, uncle Shu."
Fei Hung's strange way of calling them by name surprised them, especially Zhang Xhao and Wang Shu.
Xin Zhi could not help but be curious, as she was almost always with Zhang Ruo. Zhang Chao and Wang Heng stayed behind when Fei Hung spoke to them. The others had just gone to the courtyard and had yet to hear Fei Hung.
Fei Hung smiled weakly inside as he thought about what he was going to do.
Taking the hands of Wang Ying and Zhang Yang, Fei Hung approached their respective parents with the two women while telling them.
"Hehe.maybe I've dared to do this because of my other fiancee, but Yang'er and Ying'er agreed to be my future wife as well, she said, so I'm asking you to give me a chance to marry your daughter and give us our blessing." Fei Hung said with a laugh with a slight discomfort at first but then took a serious stance and expression as he spoke again, "If you guys give me a chance, I will try to make them very happy. I will not leave them and I will continue to love them all my life."
Fei Hung lowered his head slightly so that they would grant his request, as well as respect because they would become his future family as well.
He had done this with Lin Meng, Xin Wanying and Ling Xi, so he should have done it with Zhang Yang and Wang Ying's parents as well. They would all be his wives equally, without hating any of them.
On the other hand, Zhang Yang and Wang Ying could not help feeling happy when they heard Fei Hung asking to marry them as well. Although they had only received each other the day before, they had already considered themselves his wife since before. They will only belong to Fei Hung.
Zhang Ruo and Xin Zhi were a little surprised, but then they smiled widely and happily when they saw Fei Hung and the other girls who were nearby. They both knew that sooner or later this would happen, so they were not so surprised.
However, unlike the two mothers, Zhang Chao and Wang Shu were stunned. Even though they already knew or felt this, they were still shocked.
They understood what Fei Hung meant, which was that he would have five wives at the same time.
In Tianyun City, the total marriage registration limit is only 3 wives in most cases, and there are only a few marriages with more than 2 wives. There are rarely men who have 4 wives, but even then decades ago. But, with Fei Hung saying this, he wanted to tell them that he might offend them in some way, making them think his stance was for all of his women.
Zhang Ruo witnessed the obvious happiness of his daughter and could not help but be satisfied with Fei Hung, "Hung'er, of course you have my approval and blessing." She turned to look at her husband Zhang Chao also nodded with a smile.
"If my daughter decides so, I will support her fully in whatever she does. I just hope he finds his happiness." Wang Shu spoke. He observed his daughter's expression, and rarely did he see her make such an expression. It all started when Fei Hung came to their lives. Wang Shu only wanted Wang Ying to be very happy, so she would support him in every way.
Zhang Yang had the courage and dared to fully embrace Fei Hung's arm while leaning his head on his shoulder. Wang Ying was also unwilling to lose and hugged Fei Hung's hands with both her hands while she smiled happily and beamed on her face. His gaze now always maintained pride but, just like Lin Meng, his gaze would become gentle, loving and excited before Fei Hung.
Xin Wanying and Ling Xi looked at them with happy smiles. While little Huan Yin had a small sullen face and a slightly sad expression, which Fei Hung had noticed.
"It looks like we're really going to be the mother of the same daughter-in-law, hahahaa." Xin Zhi smiled happily when she saw that Fei Hung had finally decided to have all five girls.
"Emm." Zhang Ruo nodded similarly with a wide smile.
"Then, we should make preparations for the wedding. We'll have a lot of things to do ..." Xin Zhi spoke with a bright smile, making the hearts of the girls thump as she mentioned marriage. He and Zhang Ruo started talking about what they needed and so on.
Fei Hung broke out in cold sweat as he looked at all this. But, when she saw the bright smiles of her women, Fei Hung said nothing and just looked at them all with a smile.
"What's going on, Yiner?" Fei Hung hugged Huan Yin and asked as they all walked to the front yard of the house. She had noticed her little sadness hidden in her beautiful eyes.
"Mnn, there is no Master." Huan Yin hesitated for a moment before shaking her head and smiling again at Fei Hung.
"You know you can tell me anything, right? I will always love you and always be with you, you are my sweet little princess." Fei Hung smiled and kissed her sweet little cheeks.
Huan Yin laughed happily again as she hugged Fei Hung and wrapped her little arms around Fei Hung's neck. He wanted to say something to Fei Hung but was a little scared, also he was very shy, so in the end he decided to keep it to himself.
Fei Hung smiled warmly and rubbed his back, comforting him.
After everyone gathered outside the house, they sat in a meditative position.
"good. Now you try to gather all the energy in your body and try to break down the barrier you feel. After doing so, you will enter the First Stage of Qi Collection."
