Ch. 24 - Return to the Sea of Souls
"What are you ..." the woman wanted to ask Fei Hung what she was about to do in dealing with the demonic beast when she was surprised to see Fei Hung step up.
Fei Hung walked normally towards the demonic beast, not even running, but one could see that he was approaching with a swift movement of steps while the demonic beast was moving slowly.
A sword suddenly appeared in his right hand, even reflecting the moonlight on its surface, while once he was within six feet of the demonic beast, with a clean swing of his sword, he cut off the head of the Tiger Dragon easily.
The head of the demonic beast fell and rolled a few feet, almost close to where the stunned woman was.
The woman was stunned to see how the young man in front of her easily killed the demonic beast.
As he was deep in thought, he heard Fei Hung's voice from a distance, pulling him out of a daze
"Remember what I said! Take this medicinal liquid and rest! Don't try to practice again! ... See you tomorrow! ... There are no other demon beasts around so don't worry!"
The ice-cold woman watched Fei Hung's back disappear into the darkness, while she wondered who this mysterious man was? how strong is he? where'd he come from?
They don't even know each other's names, yet she helps him by letting him recover from his illness.
He wanted to call and ask her name, but, knowing that they would meet again the next day, he decided to wait for the next time.
After seeing that the young man was leaving, he left as well.
Two people meet in the middle of the night, while one helps the opposite sex, and in the end, they say goodbye without knowing each other's names.
Just waiting for the next time.
Fei Hung cut the demon beast easily.
That tiger-shaped demonic beast was at the Eighth Stage of Qi Collection Or Legend Level, so it did not worry him. To him, it was a simple and easy demonic beast to kill.
After warning the cold woman, she left. Fei Hung continued walking for a long time before stepping on his sword and flying into the sky, towards Ling Yan's house.
Fei Hung arrived and no one noticed that he had left. He then went to his room and sat in a cultivation position. He'll check the changes in his body.
His meridians at this moment were in perfect condition. His body seemed to be regaining some of his flesh power, although he could still be injured by an ordinary sword, it would be rather difficult to injure him now and his body was no longer a normal human body.
He released his spiritual senses into his dantian and observed that a layer had been completely lifted in the heavenly seal that limited his cultivation. This caused him to unleash some of his cultivation and return again to the level of the second Peak of Qi Collection. That's a good thing. The heavenly seal can really be lifted permanently.
Soon, he entered his small world and realized that the space around him was expanding, allowing him access to some of the objects he had in his previous pocket world.
The problem was that he was still unable to access the immortal crystals he had in his small world. Even the most powerful Immortal weapon was still inaccessible from within that small world.
The only things he could access for now were some herbs, a cauldron to make pills, some spiritual immortal artifacts.
Fei Hung sighed when he saw that he had not been able to access all of his items. It seemed that he would have to lift layer after layer of the heavenly seal to have a way of obtaining his overall possessions from his new pocket world..
Fei Hung did not have the materials to set up a teleportation formation to return to the God Realm. So he had to go look for some of the natural teleportation materials of this lower Realm.
The newly formed life and atmosphere could be seen everywhere. Even he could see the river water coming from what looked like a waterfall. This was clearly a completely small world of hers
Out of her small world, Fei Hung recalled a strange event in her sea of soul as she searched for the lost tree seed. Directing his spiritual senses, he entered his sea of soul.
Fei Hung covered his entire sea of soul with his senses and found something strange underneath.
Fei Hung mustered his entire sea of soul, pushing the water around him, leaving behind that strange place.
He was surprised by what he saw.
A strange vine was located in the middle of the entire sea of his soul, while its roots were spread out in a vast space beneath all the seas of his knowledge. It looked like a gigantic vine, covering one-tenth of his sea of soul.
Fei Hung approached this strange vine, trying to verify and search through his memories what this thing was.
He found nothing after a long search in his memory.
Ling Tian touched the vine while also releasing his spiritual senses.
Wwooosh's...!
Boommmm..!
Fei Hung felt a tremendous force come out from the vine. He even felt a little scared. Instantly, he realized that another layer of the heavenly seal in his sea of soul broke apart and a power was released all over the place.
He was shocked as another layer of seals was lifted and the strength of his sea of consciousness increased. Now, the strength of his sea of souls was comparable to the Gold Ranking.
Fei Hung could not believe what he was seeing and his consciousness quickly emerged from his sea of soul towards his dantian.
Unfortunately, the heavenly seal on his dantian had not changed at all. His cultivation was still within the Peak Qi Gathering Stage.
Only the heavenly seal on his sea of knowledge had been lifted, thus granting him even more soul power.
"Huhhhhh....!"
Fei Hung sighed. He had thought that the layer of the heavenly seal had been revoked again, so his cultivation would increase once again, but it was not.
Once again, he headed towards his sea of soul and began to pay more attention to the vine.
The vine was vibrant with strength and had a nice color, now, its branches were pale and even dry, while the strength it displayed had been drastically reduced.
"It seems, in return for lifting the layer of heavenly seals in my sea of souls, it exhausted a portion of its power". Fei Hung pondered the state of the tree.
Fei Hung remembered the sensation that gave him the wine, but he was unable to recall exactly where he had felt it before. He tried to remember for a long time, until he finally remembered.
That feeling was what he felt in the third crystal ball of the three objects floating in his sea of knowledge!
