Chapter 14: Siege
The auction had been completed, and August had managed to obtain a tier 5 Holy Sacred Armor for 10,500 gold which was a fantastic price.
The original Augustus thought not to buy anything for more than 10,000 gold. But because the number 34 continued to raise the price, he was forced to buy it at a high price.
"Well, now my money will be completely empty after buying the armor" said August, looking at the amount of gold that will later turn into 1,290
"But good, right? you managed to obtain the armor highlight today. It was one of the rarest armors a human had." Obviously Lina.
"I know, from direct sanctuary right? well, I don't know what the city of angels is like. But like you said that the auction there is the best. Then I'm sure this armor isn't retail." Sure Augustus.
"Hahahaha.quietly, I guarantee it is a good armor really. Haha." Lina laughed as she patted Augustus on the back.
After talking to each other for 5 minutes while walking. Eventually Lina and August arrived at the auction taking place to retrieve the armor he had bought earlier.

Having just entered at the retrieval venue, Augustus and Lina were treated to complaints from people at the auction earlier.
It was the person with the number 34 who at that time almost bought all the items that were at the auction.

August let out a small sigh and just walked past number 34 without returning his words.
"Hey! don't ignore me, you fool! don't you know who I am?!" Shouted number 34.

"Oi!!!" Face number 34 flushed in annoyance with Augus who kept ignoring him.
"Ah, can you please state your number at the auction?" Pinta Receptionist.
"Lt.nomer 2." Answer August.
"Number 2..on behalf of August, is that true?" Ask the receptionist to make sure.
"Yes, that's right." Answer August.
"You bid a tier 5 Sacred Armor holy bidding at the price of 10,500 gold beforehand, please wait a bit for the packaging." Pinta Receptionist.
"okay." Answer August.
While being constantly thrown with annoyance from the man behind him continuously, August who waited for 5 minutes was finally visited by the previous female receptionist.
"Please, your stuff."
"Ah, thank you." Augustus took out a black box.
He then edited the amount of gold production in his system panel which amounted to 10,500. And took the gold bag that was in his black box.
"Please." Augustus gave the gold bag to the receptionist.
"Okay, thanks for the payment." Receptionist.
After paying and taking the goods, Augustus immediately invited Lina next to him to directly get out of the place.
"Oi! don't expect you to be able to survive after ignoring me like that!" threaten number 34.
"Hey, is it okay to ignore it like that? at least say hello to him, right?" Lina's Advice.
"Just calm down, I'm just lazy to talk to him right now. Just ignore him." Augustus
"O-okay." Reply Lina.
Actually August could have been chatting with number 34 at that time. But he deliberately ignored it in order to make him upset.
It was because August was a little annoyed by the arrogant attitude of the rich. He wants to make them upset because they assume that the money they have is above everyone.
"So? what are we gonna do after this?" Ask Lina.
"As I planned before, I intend to level up after this. Do you have any advice on a good place?" Augustus asked for advice.
"If it's not wrong you're level 40 right now, right? as I recall there are monsters level 60-70 around here." Lina remembered.
"60-70? hmm, isn't that a little high with my level right now?"
"Just relax, with your current equipment, your strength is equivalent to level 120 and above."

Upon arriving in front of their inn, August is shown the sight of people like thugs waiting for them.
The thugs were carrying wooden sticks and some weapons like knives and swords in their hands.
The number was roughly 20 people, and they were all men with punk looks and dyed hair.
"Oi! are you that guy named Augustus?!" Ask thugs 1.
Augustus and Lina stopped about 5 meters in front of them and thought for a moment.
"Lina, are they probably the 34th hire?" Alleged Augustus.
"Looks like he said you'd regret it, right? maybe this is what he meant." Reply Lina.
"Hoooh." August smiles.
August slowly walked closer to the thugs in front of him, and after facing each other with the person who seemed to be their leader, Augustus said.
"Yes, I am him, the person you called earlier." Augustus.
"Heeeh, so you're the one who made our boss so upset like that. Dare to be you too." Said the Thugs 1.
All the thugs walked over towards Augustus and formed a circle that surrounded him.
"Hey, I'm sure you won't lose to them but..try not to kill them okay?" Lina's Advice.
"Okay, I'm just gonna teach them a little lesson, just calm down." Augustus held his katana while looking around him.
The 1st thug saw August holding his katana, grinning.
"You already know what the consequences are for making people money upset right? but even if you knew, you didn't choose to run, either." Praise the Thugs 1
All the thugs made a show to prepare to attack Augustus, and after a while, one of the thugs started running towards Augustus and pointed his weapon.
"Hehehe, accept this!" Thug 2 pointed the sword he was carrying towards Augustus.
Deciding not to use his sword just yet, Augustus used his right hand to catch the blade of the sword aimed at him.
*tap.
"?!"
"!!"
All the thugs including Lina who saw Augustus stopping the sword with his bare hands, widened their eyes in surprise.
"Hadeh.actually I don't want to fight anyway, but..." August hardened his grasp.
*Prank!
The blade of the sword he was holding shattered into pieces.
"Why can you.." The face of Thug 2 instantly turned pale from fear.
August proceeded to raise his right leg, and pointed it towards the 2 thugs that were in front of him.
*bugh.
"Ughhh!" Thugs 2 was immediately bounced and fell on the ground.
Augustus then took out his katana using his right hand.

The fire that came out when Augustus pulled out his sword made the surrounding thugs feel a little frightened.
"So? who's next?" Challenge Augustus.
All the thugs who initially felt confident could defeat August easily, sweating and gulping their saliva when they heard August's provocation.
"Ugh..seems like this time it'll be a little difficult." Murmuring Thugs 1.
