Flash back two and a half years ago…
Thirteen hours was like thirteen years for Khiara who was sitting restlessly in the cabin of a plane flying over the Pacific Ocean. The news he received a few hours ago made his world seem to stop.
He didn't know what to do, it felt like he wanted to replace the pilot to take control and make the plane go faster. But what's power, he's flying on a civilian plane with the fastest flight time, not on his private jet.
If he took control was useless, this plane must be flying at a safe speed, it is impossible to increase the speed as good as he wanted. He was not alone, hundreds of other passengers were inside.
The plane successfully landed, Khiara immediately rushed out without bothering with her belongings as she was carrying nothing but her phone and wallet. He immediately took care of the bureaucracy and darted out. Outside, Artha was waiting for him.
They immediately headed for the hospital, where people were waiting for them. This is the crazy thing that Khiara's boatman does. Leaving her 8-month-old baby alone with a baby sitter and some bodyguards in LA. Even when Khiara landed, her brother would have reached her house to look after Kaevin. But that's still the crazy thing a mother ever does.
He felt very guilty about it and would definitely experience deep regret if something happened to his only child. In the car she can breathe a little relieved when her brother has sent her picture along with baby Kaiven. His son is safe. No one knows about her pregnancy. That's why he can't take Kaevin now.
Arriving at the hospital, the two of them immediately ran through the corridor that split the hospital. Artha showed me where someone's room was making his brain almost go crazy. In front of the room door, Khiara did not immediately go inside.
“Who is the doctor who handles it?”
“Doctor Archa.” Khiara immediately left the place heading somewhere. In a room, a doctor was observing the results of a CT Scan in front of him by crossing his hands in front of his chest.
“How?” Khiara's voice shattered the doctor's mind.
“Ah, you've come apparently.” Khiara approached him and stared intently at the photo. He glanced at 4 monitor screens displaying projections of damaged lung organs. Sia understands this is not a good thing.
“Emh!”
“We have removed the bullet, but unfortunately the bullet has managed to damage his lungs" said the person who works as a general surgeon. “The team of cardiothoracic surgery has also tried as much as possible. However we are afraid it will not last long.”
DUARR!
He was so beaten. It was like the end of the world for him. Right now, the worst end was already set before his eyes. And he has to be ready for everything.
“How much longer time does it have?”
“We can't be sure.”
Khiara closed her eyes to dampen all the emotions within her, then walked out of the room with a hardened face and a look of eyes that could not be interpreted by Arka. Nevertheless, Arka knew very well what Khiara felt.
Slowly Khiara opened the door of the nursery she had left. Everyone who was there looked at him. There is a lot of sadness there. But there was nothing he could do. He felt the same way, maybe even more than he did.
He himself also needed a crutch. A crutch that could help him support the heavy weight on his shoulders. The buttress who was able to accompany him through the trials that came alternately. A crutch that was able to muffle and calm himself so as not to explode and end up going crazy because of his inability to live his life trials.
Hiding all the anger, sadness, and helplessness behind his feet, he approached the bed in the middle of the room. With great difficulty he kept his tears from escaping from both of his eyelids. His heart was stirring feeling a tightness that was very excruciating.
Until a burly hand touches his shoulder to strengthen it, but it makes it no longer strong to hold the emotions raging inside him. Her tears just escaped from behind her eyelashes. So swift and relentless flowed in silence.
“Give it all the same God!” Adit's voice rattled in his ears.
Adit grabbed her so she could hide her tears, letting her spill all her tears there, caressing her back and hair affectionately.
Only an Adit knows the great trials that have befallen him, so that he understands very well how destroyed Khiara is today. Well, of all his friends, he's the only one who knows all the trouble that's beenfalling him besides his family.

Adit continued to be beside Khiara. Never leave Khiara who continues to sit dumbstruck waiting patiently for someone who is lying in bed for a long time.
His eyes were completely empty. It made Adit really worried about him. It's been 3 days since that day. But no food intake entered the woman's body other than mineral water. He had to force it first.
“She has to consume glucose to keep her brain functioning," explained Artha beside her.
Artha is very good at health. Adit got up from the sofa and grabbed the milk box that Artha was thrusting.
“Drink lah!” Adit thrusts the milk box at Khiara. The woman just shook her head. Of course that makes Adit anxious. He grabbed Khiara's face with one of his hands.
“Listen! If you get sick, you won't be able to keep her company. You want when he realizes you can't see him?” Khiara just looked at Adit with her eyes. “I just asked you to drink this, nothing else.”
Finally Khiara. A little relief approached everyone who was there. Someone who is lying in bed alone has made them sad instead of playing, especially now coupled with Khiara who is like an undead?
Before long, someone lying on the bed showed a movement. Khiara who first sensed it immediately called out his name. And Endra who was next to the bed immediately pressed the button to call the doctor.
Arka and her team came to check on the patient. It was an unwanted end for all of them. Arka could not cover the face of sorrow there. After all, this patient of hers was one of those patients that she did not want to see her death.
“Hai, Brother... How come your face is like that?”
“You evil Sha! Why did you come to me in this state, huh? How can you think of me as your brother if I can't protect you and even help you, huh?” Arka really wants to curse. It could be that the woman could still give her a sweet smile.
“Don’t.. say that! Khira is here, right?” Arka nodded.
“I'll call him.” Khira immediately entered with Adit beside her. There are now 4 people in this room.
“Hai, Dit!?” Shasha greeted Adit who had never greeted each other before.
“Hai, Sha..."
“What happened, huh?” Khiara was getting impatient.
“Just..
“Just an accident, huh? What the fuckin’ accident that makes you lay down here, huh?”
“Sst..” With all her might, Shasha tried to calm the riled up Khiara.
Shasha grabbed onto Khiara's pretty face with the remnants of her strength in the middle of her half-breath. Khiara grabbed the tiny hand on her cheek and grasped it tightly.
"Li-listen! This is.. not. his.. fault. Don’t.. hate... him!”.
Those are the only words that Shasha can say, until she closes her eyes forever. Words that give them no answer. Nah! Not no. One day they will find the answer.
The limp drooping hands made these three people shed tears. The waves on the vital sign monitor have changed with a straight line. A death had occurred before their eyes.
“Time of death is 21:05," Arka said in a raucous voice as she matched the time of death with the watch on her wrist.
Khiara could not survive anymore. He also drowned afterwards. Adit held him down before he tumbled to the floor.
“Bring him to the ER, the doctor will handle it. I'll deliver on everything.”
“Ok.” Adit carries Khiara to the ER.
Outside everyone was confused to see Adit holding Khiara. Some of them follow Adit while Shasha's family immediately goes into the ward after Adit requests it.
