29. THE SHADOW OF THE DARKNESS

Robert Kanumba, an African black man who was discovered by Barbara Clarkson early in his career at DARPA, was caught up in the famine and civil war in Somalia in 1991.
Barbara, who was still a field officer and often sent to various countries of conflict, found little Robert was scavenging for leftover food from a garbage can and drinking from mud puddles. The team is required to work quietly and completely without a trace, disappearing like a shadow. Therefore Barbara named them “The Shadows”, where Robert Kanumba was appointed as the top leader.
The team personnel are selected very strictly from ex high quality agents . The main requirement to become a Shadow is high loyalty to Barbara Clarkson, having exceptional physical discovery and dexterity, being smart with above average IQ and skilled at using all kinds of weapons . Both classic weapons such as swords and spears to modern weaponry with the most advanced technology. All personnel got the same title ‘’Shadow’’.
Some time ago they managed to operate a robot warrior that Barbara sent from a secret Project in Palmyra Atoll. As a result, the completion of their mission becomes easier and reduces the risk of losing many personnel.
The robot warrior can be operated from a considerable distance, greatly saving time and operational costs. Of course, their warrior robot is similar to the warrior robot developed by DARPA and ASTROGUN because they managed to replicate the prototype they seized from Arthur when they kidnapped him two years ago.
