The Azkia Wound Flakes

The Azkia Wound Flakes
Kean Voice

After traveling for twelve more hours using the train, finally Mother and Seruni arrived in Kediri. They immediately came to the hospital where Kean received treatment. There was Bulik Sri who was waiting for Kean.

"Piye Sri, opo jarene doctor?" (Where is Sri, what does the doctor say?) mother asked as soon as she arrived at Kean's nursery.

"Demame 38.9 degrees, Ma'am. Panase I'm up and down, dino's down, don't think demame wes let's. Loro jarene Kean awake. Said doctor yo fever, Ma'am. And it's been given infusion, now it's down the fever." (Fever is 38.9 degrees, Ma'am. The heat is up and down. Three days I think the fever's cured. But it hurts Kean said. The doctor said the fever and had been given the infusion, now the fever has gone down) replied Bulik Sri.

"Yowis doesn't wait for Seruni nang kene. Sampeyan mulih o dik. Ndang risk - risk, nggowo klambine Kean karo opo sing dibutuhno. Nggoleki maem sek ngono." (I've been waiting for Seruni here. You go home for a while. Clean - clean. Bring Kean's shirt with you as you need it. Find food too.) said Mother to Bulik Sri. Finally Bulik Sri came home and brought some dirty clothes from the hospital. Seruni tidied things up and Mother tidied up Kean's blanket.

"Well, Ma'am? Ta kerjo?" (Where are you, Ma'am? Job huh?) tanya Bulik Sri after ready to go home.

"La iyo, nek ga kerjo piye canal. Wes is not kandani, dee lo kerjo ae, I'm karo Runi mulih nang Kediri." (Yes, if not just how to work. I told you, he was a work, me and Runi returned to Kediri.) replied Mother still spoke Javanese with Bulik Sri.

"Neither njalok ndelok anakke dewe, Ma'am?" (Don't want to see his son, Ma'am?) tanya Bulik Sri was worried.

"Dee loh njalok but nang kene wes ga iso auxiliary. Wes ben e. Engkok called ae. Nek needs opo - opo, call me." (He wants to come here but here gabisa help. Already let. Just call later, if you need anything - do you call me.) said Mother.

"Yowes, Ma'am. Sampeyan is maem nang kene. Durung maem anyway, Ma'am?" (Yes, Ma. I'll get you some food here. Have not eaten yet, Ma'am.) said Bulik Sri.

"Yowes opo ae. Gowoen ae opo lah, Sri." (What is it. Bring me anything, Sri.)

then Bulik really went home now. Seruni only heard her Mother and Buliknya speak. Not long after, Kean woke up from his sleep.

"Bulik.." call Kean towards Seruni.

"Wes you feeling well?" tanya Seruni wiped the sweat that was in Kean's sweat.

"Come, Lik. Wes is no po po. Akeh activities nang school, I ngedrop. You're loro kabeh, Lik." (Yes, Lik. It's okay - what. Lots of activities at school. I'm drop. My body hurts all, Lik.) Kean replied in a soft tone.

"Yowes nek sane. Maem yo?" (When it's delicious. Eat huh?) ask Seruni.

"Ndi Budhe Kia? Ndak meek ta?" (Where is Budhe Kia? Not coming?) ask Kean. Seruni and I looked at each other. How he should answer Kean.

"Hem.." Mom tried to smile looking at Kean who asked Azkia.

"Buddy Kia kerjo nang Jakarta. Nek ono time, Bulik ndang mrene." (Budhe Kia works in Jakarta, if there is time, Bulik immediately came.) replied Mother with a smile.

"Wes gapopo, Uti. Ben kerjo ae." (It's okay, Uti. Let it work) Kean replied looking sad.

"Kangen ta your karo Budhe Kia?" (You miss Budhe Kia?) ask Mom sad.

"Come, Uti. Especially all this time Budhe Kia ngekei I sangu. Opo nek I haven't seen you." (Yes, Uti, especially all this time Budhe Kia gave me money. Yes if I do not want to see.) Kean replied disappointed Azkia did not come to see him.

Kean is fairly close to Mother and Seruni. There is no distance between them. Sometimes, Mom's heart aches when Kean starts asking about Azkia. I know exactly Kean is a good boy, polite and also smart. How happy if he used to be able to take care of Kean.

Kean started eating being fed by Mom. The jokes and laughter between Mother, Seruni and Kean brought a better atmosphere between them. I always hoped in my heart, if only Azkia was here...

****

Azkia hung up the phone with a sigh of relief. Seruni had just reported that Kean was in a fairly stable condition and his fever had gone down.

"Your family?" ask Kevin who is driving.

"Yes. He said the sick brother had started to improve." Azkia replied. At first glance, regret was in his heart when he said that the sick was his brother. Not his son, Kean.

"Since yesterday you've been visibly agitated because of your brother. Is it because you're so close to her?" Kevin sounded curious about the Azkia family. But for some reason, Azkia still shuts herself down about her family.

"Yes, Kev, he's a good, well-mannered boy. Who doesn't feel sorry for a child as good as that." Azkia replied increasingly sad to remember Kean.

"Yes, okay. Later when - when maybe we can visit your brother, so that you do not fidget anymore" said Kevin smiled and grabbed Azkia's hand.

Azkia smiled, hiding her true feelings.

"Yes. Thank you." Azkia replied.

Arriving at home, Azkia throws herself on the sofa and calms her agitated mind since hearing the news of Kean being ill. Azkia closed her eyes for a moment and imagined Kean's already grown-up face. Seruni also sent a photo with Kean. So sweet. Tears broke on Azkia's cheek. He could no longer hide his longing for Kean. Azkia picked up her hape and contacted Seruni.

"Hello, Brother."

"Roon..I want to talk to Kean." said Azkia rubbing tears on her cheek.

"In a moment, Brother."

There was a voice of Seruni who gave his hape to Kean. Kean's voice was soft, which Azkia heard through the phone line.

"Buddy.." Kean greeted Azkia with a voice that sounded just grown up. Again tears fell on Azkia's cheeks and were immediately removed.

"Yes, how are you, Le?" (How are you, Le?) asked Azkia with a smile. Although there was still a slight trembling sound.

"Kbar, Budhe. Sorry yo Budhe, I fell. Sekolahne prei dik." (Health, Budhe. Sorry Budhe, I'm sick. School is off first.) Kean replied with a small laugh.

"Sane boiler, Le. ngkok Budhe mrono. Ora need to think opo - opo." (Chealing soon, Le. Budhe will be there. Don't think anything) said Azkia who lowered her head and held her forehead. Can't bear to hear Kean's voice so soft in his ears. Her tears fell back down her cheeks.
