Azkia Confession

Kevin grabbed his hape that sounded. It was late afternoon, a little more hours to get home from work. Unlike usual Azkia sent him a message during business hours. Kevin immediately read a message from Azkia. 

Kev, I'm waiting for you at the cafe lobby. Finish your job first. 

Kevin thought something had happened during the installation of the unit at the Diana hotel. Because as far as Kevin knows, Diana is always chasing anyone who is close to him. 

Without waiting for the office hours, Kevin immediately took a suit and locked the door of his room. He told his secretary if he had to leave. 

Kevin headed for the passenger elevator and waited a little. He feels restless. He checked his hape. Azkia didn't call or text him anymore. After a little wait, the elevator door opened. There were some people in the elevator and they shifted a little when Kevin came in. 

"Azekiah..."

Azkia who was sitting in the loby cafe was surprised by Kevin's arrival suddenly. 

"Kev, it's not yet office hours...." 

"Let's go home."

Azkia brought the coffee that had just been ordered and her hands were held together by Kevin. Azkia hurriedly stepped up, adjusting her pace to Kevin. 

Nicolas can only see Azkia pass by from the cafe loby.

"What's up, Azkia? Did something happen during the installation of the unit at the Diana hotel?" ask Kevin as soon as he gets in the car. 

"Are you worried about that?" Azkia asked back. 

"Yes. Did Diana say anything?" ask Kevin to worry. 

Azkia lowered her head. Playing his fingers, thinking good words for Kevin. Diana is a close friend of Kevin's. However, he did not want Kevin and Diana's friendship to be tenuous because of it. 

"I don't know what to say."

"Diana said what? Is he looking - looking for your fault? Or did he offend our relationship? Or did he find out about your past?" ask Kevin an unrelenting question. But when Kevin asked the last question, Azkia immediately looked at Kevin. His eyes met Kevin. 

"She's finding out about my background." Azkia replied. 

"Not to think about. I beg. Yea?" 

Azkia scrunched her forehead. Confused by what Kevin said. 

"What do you mean, Kev?"

Kevin put his body in good shape. He started the engine and put his seat belt on. 

"I'll tell you while driving." 

Slowly, Kevin stepped on the gas pedal. Azkia also put on her seat belt. On the way, Azkia felt a sense of silence. Kevin hasn't spoken yet. Azkia does not blame Kevin and he tries to control his emotions. 

"Diana doesn't like me being close to any woman" Kevin said. 

Azkia silently listened. 

"Every time I approach a woman, she's always looking for her ugliness. Diana always felt herself better than any woman." 

"Maybe. I don't deny it. Because what he's doing is always interrupting my days." 

"Then, what about you?" azkia asked withstanding her sadness. 

"I admit. Who does not see Diana as a beautiful, intelligent and successful woman? I think you are too. But when I approach and try to be in a relationship with a woman, she is always looking for the ugliness of that woman. At first, I was always quarreling and incited by Diana's words. But then, the woman I was dating, asked me: now do you want to be in a relationship with me for the future or for my past? 

I'm honestly confused. Diana always interfered in my relationships. It happened like that a few times. And I feel like Diana is not a healthy person. She did everything I could to be with Diana." Kevin said. 

Azkia was quite stunned by what Kevin was telling her. Is that so? Is that how Diana has been his client all along?

"Diana's emotions are always exploding. I'm looking for ways to deal with his emotions. Finally I always cut her talk when she vilified the woman I liked." Kevin continued. 

"What about me? When Diana says something about my past one day, then you can't have a relationship with me anymore..." 

Kevin turned the steering wheel to the left. He installed a penny lamp as a sign of 'heart-heart'. 

"You mean, do I doubt you or not?" 

Azkia looked at Kevin deeply. Kevin's sincerity and honesty always make him sad. Because all this time the one who lied was not Kevin. Except himself. 

"I'm still trying to reach you, Azkia. I am still trying to reach your heart. I want our relationship to be based on honesty and sincerity." 

The deg! Azkiah's heart was like being struck by a huge rock. It is undeniable, Kevin has always looked sincere and honest with himself. 

Azkia lowered her face. She was ashamed of Kevin's kindness. He felt this was the time he had to be honest with his true state. 

"Before you find out from others, I'd like to just say it. Maybe from what I say, you can decide, want to continue our relationship or get here. I will accept whatever your decision is. Before our relationship goes any further." Azkia spoke seriously to Kevin. It made Kevin wonder what he was going to say. Azkia unlocks her seatbelt and she gets out of Kevin's car. 

"I'll listen to you." 

Azkia unlocks her seatbelt and she gets out of Kevin's car. Kevin shut off the engine. And follow Azkiah. 

"Kev, you know everyone makes mistakes. Whether it was in the past or now." 

"Yes." Yeah."

"When I was a teenager, I had a boyfriend. I like him and he likes me. There are things I didn't know in my teenage years. We're just thinking about how to have fun without knowing what the consequences are." 

Kevin looked at Azkia's face looking away at the passing cars and trucks.

"Until one day I have the wrong relationship and I..." 

Azkia turned to look at Kevin.

"I'm pregnant." 

Kevin was shocked by what Azkia had just said. 

"I'm taking responsibility for my girlfriend. But he reasoned that he could not be held responsible because he still did not graduate school. Predictably, women will always suffer. I feel devastated. My world is collapsing and I have no future. I went home and told my parents. They took me to East Java. There I calmed down and my father asked me to decide to give birth to the child or abort it." 

Azkia looked at Kevin. Wondering what Kevin's reaction was after hearing all Azkia's confessions. Kevin can only hear all the stories of Azkia's past and still not give any comment. 

Azkia was in tears as she continued her story. He was ready for whatever Kevin would say. Either Kevin will leave it this second as well or scold him. Whatever it is, Azkia will accept it. Most importantly for him, he had said it honestly. He would not lie to Kevin.
