The car Rita rented drove away from the mall parking area. Since coming out of the cafe there is not much talked about between Irma and Rita. Rita prefers to enjoy the streets from behind the car window rather than invite Irma to talk like this all day. Makes Irma think that her future mother-in-law is angry because they met her past in the cafe.
While playing the ends of his nails, Irma occasionally glanced at Rita who was still focused on seeing the streets. He wanted to start a conversation, but there was doubt in his mind.
"What's wrong?" Rita who realized Irma continued to pay attention to her, finally opened her voice even without glancing at the woman beside her.
"Sorry, Mah." Only an apology can come out of his mouth. This is the first time Irma has been silenced by Rita. He who is not familiar with the prospective in-laws make him paranoid himself.
"Sorry for what? Do you have the same fault, ma'am?" Rita glanced at Irma who was still playing the nails, clashing with each other.
"For the incident in the cafe. I accidentally ruined our show. Again I'm sorry, Mah. I didn't know that we were going to meet Mamah Ambar and my ex-husband" Irma said, regretfully.
Rita gave a rough breath. It is undeniable that he was upset by the events in the cafe. Her moment together with Irma was suddenly interrupted. However, he was actually not upset with Irma. Only one person who makes the mood of Rita immediately plummeted, namely Ryan. Rita did not mind the former daughter-in-law's meeting with the former in-laws at all, in fact, he will not even bother meeting a couple of ex-husband and wife if only Ryan did not look at Irma with a gaze that was so longing. Rita is fed up by Ryan's attitude towards the future daughter-in-law, which actually makes Irma also affected.
"May you ask me something?" Rita looked at Irma who kept her head down.
Irma did not answer, she just moved her head down, breeding.
"Do you still have feelings for your ex-husband?" ask Rita to the point.
'uh? What kind of question is this? Why does Mamah seem to doubt my feelings for Mas Andre.' Irma was flabbergasted by Rita's question.
"Did Mom doubt me?" asked Irma so slowly.
"Mamah doesn't doubt you, but you doubt your ex-husband."
Rita shifted her body, making the young body face towards Irma. Then, he pulled Irma to face him as well. "If your husband wants to come back. Who will you choose? Your problem or Andre?" tanyanya while lifting Irma's chin, making the eyes of the two meet each other.
'What did Mamah see from Mas Ryan, until Mamah thought that far?'
"Why do I go back to the man who made my life hell? I and Mas Ryan were married because they were arranged, even though I had hoped that my marriage would go well and that love would grow between us. But ... In fact, only her parents accepted me, she didn't. In fact, he steadfastly stepped on my pride as a merciless wife. He took another woman and played in our room. Should I go back to someone like that? Even if there's no Mas Andre, I won't go back to him. It's the same as letting my pride back on being trampled back. It's not impossible that he'll do anything worse than yesterday." Irma's cry was unstoppable. The pain came again. The mass that Andre had treated, again crossed his head.
Rita can see how much she suffered from Irma living with the man, making her feel guilty because her intelligence has forced Irma to bring up the mass that Irma tried to forget it.
"He's not a husband but a monster. Even his attitude was more and more craze when he knew I wasn't—"
With tears in his eyes, Irma unknowingly reveals something she has agreed with Andre to be their secret. However, Irma had not yet stated everything, Rita pulled the woman into her arms.
"I'm sorry, mama. Forgive me, dear. Mamah didn't mean to bring up your wound. Mamah is just afraid that you will go back to the man and leave Andre, if the man invites you back. Mamah could see, there was another look from the gaze of your ex-husband. Hopefully it's just your mind. Again, I'm sorry." Rita kissed Irma's head.
"There's no way I'm throwing away a diamond just for useless mud that's just going to get dirty. Mas Andre will not be comparable if equated with a depraved man like him, Mah," said Irma on the sidelines of her cries.
"Mummy knows. No, don't cry anymore! Mama believes you are a hundred percent."
Instead of subsiding, Irma's cry became even more when she heard Rita's answer. He hugged the middle-aged woman tightly, there was a sense of comfort near her. From the beginning he did not disbelieve in Irma, only he was afraid that the marriage of the child was disturbed by the mass presence of Irma.
Meanwhile, in another car, a driver was smiling to himself. I don't know what he's thinking, only he knows. Making someone who was beside him, squinting one eye, looking in wonder at the child.
"Beautiful," he muttered involuntarily praising the woman he had hurt so many times.
Understanding what the child was thinking, the person in the passenger seat and none other than Ambar directly hit hard enough on the child's shoulder, making Ryan grimace in pain.
"Who is beautiful? Are you thinking about Irma?" snapped Ambar.
"Isn't she really pretty?"
"From yesterday you went anywhere, when he was going to belong to someone else you just realized it. It's too late! Remember you have a wife! Don't think weird! Once you've hurt Irma, not again!" ambar. "Remember, don't be weird! If you don't want to mamah also fire you as a child," continued Ambar full of emphasis.
"But isn't Papah's condition that if I want to be recognized again as Papah's son, I have to go back to Irma?" Ryan remembered the requirements of his father at that time.
"That requirement has expired. Don't mess around if you don't want your mommy and your dad to hang themselves because of your shameful behavior." Ambar reminded the child that his behavior always makes him a headache. Problem one is not finished, it will add new problems again. "Without chasing the future wife people try to get the blessing of your papah again for your current marriage. Maybe he'll melt if he sees his granddaughter's cuteness."
"Look at it later," jawan Ryan while showing off his smile, as if all Ambar speech came in from the left ear and out the right ear.
"RYAN !!!!" squealing Ambar, making his voice fill the car and feel the pangs in Ryan's ears.
