That night the Goddess slept together ambu in one bed. The night has not yet moved. Darkness still looks thick, early morning is still far away.
Outside the house, there were three men patrolling. They're walking around checking out the neighborhood. “Naha anyway urang-urang deui nu tetah ngaronda ku Pak RT (why the hell are we-we again told to ngeronda same Pak RT)?” moody guy in the head. “Soalna ngan urang tiluan nu nganggang jeung nu lainna scarecrow (the situation is only the three of us who are unemployed the same as others in the cowards),” said TikTok man. “Emang you dare? He said he was afraid of Nyai Galunggung .. uh Nyai Galunggung again nyari tumbal loh,” joking men berkupluk spooki. “Ah moal sieun ayeuna mah (Ah ga scared now mah), the demon is despicable, the human is perfect, live ngado’a, the demon must run,” kilah TikTok men convince both friends. The two friends nodded in agreement, and they continued their patrol.
In the room, Ambu woke up with a mukena that had not been released. He got out of bed slowly because he did not want to wake the sleeping Goddess. He walked into the spacious kitchen to pick up a teapot and poured water in a glass. After gulping down the white water was ambu back to the room but his steps stopped in front of the room that used to be a small warehouse. He heard a snoring from inside the room. Ambu was sure that when he went to the kitchen and passed through the room, he did not hear the sound of snoring at all.
The sound of snoring was heard again. Ambu was hesitant to actually check it but he remembered abah. Abah does have his own house key and used to go home late at night and go straight to sleep because he did not want to wake the Ambu and Goddess. Ambu approached the room whose door was only a curtain. New ambu will shift the curtains, he thought first, but you never sleep in this room usually abah will sleep on the long sofa of the family room. Then who snores? Does maling? Ambu rushed to take a broomstick and prepared to hit. He shifted the curtains and looked inside.
On the floor with the mat, I saw the pocong lying down with the bud on its head and its face was charred black!
The goddess in the room opened her eyes. He woke up when he heard the sound of screams and Cung Cuing birds whistling on the roof of his house. He looked at the bedside and saw that the ambu was not there. “Ambu!” pekik Dewi realized that something had befallen the ambu. The goddess immediately exited the room. “Ambu? Ambu where?” call Goddess.
The feathers bristled. He felt something staring at him wherever he moved from the darkness of the corners of the house. The goddess saw a sage lying on the floor. Goddess frowned, “Ambu? Ambu in the warehouse what?” The goddess then gently pulled the curtains.
He saw that Ambu was sitting quietly behind him on the mat. “Ambu, why do Tahajud prayers here anyway?” said Dewi as he approached and gently patted the shoulder of the ambu. Slowly, the head with the face moved to look. Dewi deg-degan because she was afraid when she turned her head turned out not to be an ambu face. But the Goddess heaved a sigh of relief when she saw the ambu face that turned her head and looked at her.
