The Betrayals

The Betrayals
Serindu Chocolate Vanilla

Some time before.

"I think this place is also good, some of the food here is good, right?" Tiffany asked Dru, staring at the 5 foot food line on her left side.

they were still in the car where Dru was still focused on the steering wheel of his car, his eyeballs staring straight ahead.

"Stop here or still want to find another place?" the man asked while looking at Tiffany for a moment.

"here too" said Tiffany quickly, his eyeballs glanced at some of the various foods around them.

believe me it felt like he suddenly wanted some sort of food to be devoured by him at this moment, let alone imagining a meal that was fresh enough - fresh made him think he was really hungry at this moment.

"Maybe I want to buy some food to take to the penthouse" she continued.

Dru looks silent, actually he is happy if his wife wants to buy whatever she wants but the fear is what if Tiffany vomits up the food she consumes, it is enough to make her worry and fear. but remembering what the doctor said earlier that he had felt anti-nausea drugs and vitamins for the wife made him sighed a little slowly.

"have you taken the medicine, honey?" the man asked with a serious look he began to pull over his car and look for the best parking area.

"He em I've eaten her"the woman replied quickly without turning her head towards Dru, she still picked out some of the food she saw that she might buy after this.

as soon as Dru pulled his car over and turned off the engine, Tiffany impatiently got off quickly but Dru hurriedly held Tiffany's hand.

"Tiff?"

That made Tiffany quite surprised.

"Yes?"

"Remain nauseous? I'm pretty scared if you're nauseous when you smell some food" Dru said quickly.

Hearing her husband's question for a moment made the girl silent, she glanced at Dru.

"Like not, I think only in the morning when I wake up or only at night when I want to go to sleep, why is it? I'm not nauseous to eat, I think I'm fine" Tiffany obviously answered her husband's question quickly, saying, it obviously sounded strange when bro asked if he did not feel nauseous when dealing with food.

she thought there was no problem with her stomach about food and her husband's question made her suspicious.

"did the doctor say anything about my pain? for example I should avoid some food and so on?" he asked back.

actually the question also made no sense but the talk delivered by Dru made him feel more unreasonable.

"Not so, I just feel. forget it baby, maybe I'm the one who thinks too much, I'm sorry Tiff" and in the end the drum tries to neutralize his feelings as well as trying to be as normal as possible.

he thought it seemed like he was overreacting and that obviously made Tiffany feel suspicious, should Dru think she wasn't like that, she said, because he has to surprise his wife tonight and he doesn't want Tiffany to know about her pregnancy until she surprises him later.

"I'm sorry for thinking too much" the man continued.

Tiffany seemed to develop a smile she then said.

"That's not a problem, let's go to the food that's on the other end there, I think they look tasty and delicious, then let's try to buy ice cream" and the woman spoke quickly trying to give recommendations then she hoped they bought some food and enjoyed ice cream together.

Dru didn't protest much he just nodded his head and said.

"Whatever you like, I make sure I like it too" the man said quickly.

Dru is actually not the type of man who likes to go foraging in such a place to eat, he usually likes on things fast, he said, prefer inter-book meals when he is too busy with his affairs. But that doesn't mean he doesn't like to eat in such places, occasionally he would come to such a place to enjoy some sort of food that he likes with some of his friends.

but going out with a woman he loves is definitely new this time.

they moved towards some food carts where Tiffany tried to order and taste her, occasionally feeding her and letting her enjoy the food chosen by her.

"Likes?" Tiffany asked Dru several times.

"Hmm I like it enough"

"Try this one. .aaaaa.." and the woman spoke several times while feeding her.

Dru simply complied and enjoyed the wide variety of food dishes ordered by his wife.

"let's see if we can get my favorite ice cream menu here" in the end the wife said like that where Tiffany's eyeballs try to stare at the left and right sides alternately.

"Es cream?" Dru asked while frowning.

"i like it we're going to find the best-looking ice cream" then she clasped Dru's arm tightly and tried to take him around the place.

"i just found out my wife loves ice cream at this old age" the man teased Tiffany with his eyeballs.

"of course I've loved it since the kids up until now" Tiffany obviously replied enthusiastically.

"I used to buy it with Jessi." she told me but suddenly stopped her words, when she mentioned Jessica's name she fell silent.

"What's wrong?" Dru asked slowly.

Tiffany did not answer, did not know why but she suddenly missed the girl, from childhood to adulthood they were always together, there were so many times they passed, he said, whenever one of them is sad or scolded by their parents, ice cream is the food that becomes their outlet.

for them ice cream is able to eliminate the sadness in their hearts where the cold can beat the one taste that hit their feelings.

One of Tiffany's memories of Jessica hit her.

"Give me a taste of vanilla chocolate"

"Give me some vanilla chocolate"

they mentioned the flavors of ice cream they liked the most at the same time, they were too young, they had just entered elementary school, they were wearing clothes like twins, with their hair tied back, they had been wearing, for a moment the little boy stared at each other and then suddenly they both laughed because they felt they had the same taste.

"Please promise me that when we're far away and longing for each other, let's enjoy the same ice cream wherever you remember me"

And not knowing why Tiffany felt her eyeballs suddenly heating up, she was seen moving, staring at Dru for some time.

"Tiff?" Dru clearly frowned, staring at Tiffany with confusion and fear.

A few seconds later, the woman slowly entered her arms, and in the next second, Tiffany's tears broke.

I miss you Jess, really.
