The Betrayals

The Betrayals
Bring her to play

Back to the present

The Xavier family's main mansion.

When everyone had finished enjoying dinner together, mommy Lana lan said.

"Stay here, right? it just so happens that a big family gets together"

The woman spoke excitedly looking at Dru and Tiffany in turn.

hearing her mommy question Dru intends to talk and refuses to remember her like Tiffany looks reluctant to stay the night.

"Mom I think.."

"He em we'll stay the night, mom"

Tiffany hurriedly spoke, interrupting Dru's words quickly. This made Dru immediately turn to look at Tiffany, he looked at the girl's face with a pretty surprised expression, he wanted to talk but undo his intentions.

I don't know maybe because it's the nature of his irrit talk and quite difficult to communicate with the people around him he never wanted to talk a lot or interact too much with the crowd around him.

"That's great, we can play guessing together, it just so happens that all the cousins are here, right? we often spin the bottle together, make a question and have to answer honestly every question with honesty"

Sister Xia immediately stared enthusiastically at Tiffany and Dru, she glanced at some of the family's cousins, then raised her eyebrows.

"Maybe, Tiffany was always able to stay up late and play honest words every time we camped at school first"

And a girl talks fast, she's Dru and Xia's cousin, Defina's schoolmate from Junior High to Tiffany's college.

Getting a challenge like that Tiffany immediately expands her smile, she then turns to Dru quickly.

"Am I allowed to join and play?"

And for whatever smile Dru misses from Tiffany, she only saw it during their marriage. And that smile also made him angry and said scurriedly to the girl several times in the past.

"Stop widening your smile, it looks unpleasant"

"Tell the girl, stop smiling at men, she looks like a seductress"

If you remember him saying that back then, Dru is pretty shy now. Because Tiffany's smile was too seductive and unsettling for her, she couldn't breathe properly whenever she saw the girl smiling that wide against other men.

"The girl next to Xia is beautiful, you see her smile is so seductive and adorable, what's her name?"

"I'll ask Xia for her phone number"

"I bet it'll get her no more than 2 x 24 hours"

He immediately looked at the face of the girl in question and frowned.

"I'll go down and tease her"

One of her friends tried to move on, wanting to go down where the girl moved from the front yard of the house with Xia and they were upstairs on the porch of her room.

"Don't try to disturb him"

Dru instantly let out his baritone voice, he did not at all stare at one by one his friends, preferring to reach for his drink glass and sip it casually.

Hearing Dru's warning, everyone instantly fell silent. No one dared to let out their voices again then.

"Dru?"

One voice surprised him with a touch on his shoulder, the man immediately turned his head.

"Your wife asked you for permission"

It was her mommy, talk fast to Dru for not answering Tiffany's question.

She forgot Tiffany asked her if she was allowed to join and come play.

She could see Tiffany's smile fading away, the girl lowered her head with a sad facial expression, As if knowing Dru wouldn't allow her to come play and stay up late at night.

Dru immediately stood up quickly, then gently touched the top of Tiffany's head that was lowered.

"Let's go together"

The man's words slowly made Tiffany raise her head, she looked at Dru for some time, the fading smile had returned beautifully.

"Can? really true?"

At least she needs permission from a husband to do many things, she is self-conscious if she is no longer a single girl who is free to do anything without someone's supervision and permission.

Instead of answering, Dru reached out his hand, waiting for Tiffany to receive her sturdy palm and bring her to where the game would begin.

"We'll wait upstairs"

Dru spoke to everyone who would play with them.

Hearing this, Tiffany slowly extended her hand, letting the man carry himself away from there.
