Eps. 54 Executions
“Click.” the bodyguard throws Vaska and Judith into a special holding cell where it is reserved for high-class vampires and there are only the two of them in the cell.
They left after locking the holding cell and leaving the two of them there.
Judith approached Vaska who was sitting in the corner of the cell and bowed.
“Master Vaska... Why do you have to lie for my sake ?” sit next to Vaska and touch his cheek. And why should I sacrifice comfort for my sake ? My life means nothing anymore. I'd better be punished so that Mr. Vaska can continue to live.
Vaska raised his head and stared intensely at his girl.
“Judith. Then I must bear it.” looked right into Judith's eyes. “In addition humans only have one life, in contrast to us.” explains the reason.
A vampire with a high level of strength can be revived after his death by performing a special ritual. Of course not all vampires can rise again from his death. And that's just once.
“Meanour ?” ask Judith to clarify. “Listen to me.” Vaska whispered softly in her girl's ear. “Tomorrow on execution day. Take my body and bla-bla...” Vaska explained his plan at length to his girl.
Judith simply nodded and listened carefully to the man's explanation and recorded it in her memory.
The night before the day of his execution the next day, King Ernesto came to the defense to meet his son.
“Daddy...what's dad here ?” Vaska sat up while standing and approached his father in front of the cell. “I want to give you the last offer.” he replied because he felt really unwilling to lose the son he had long raised.
“You... I gave you the best offer, but you let him down. Too bad !” King Ernesto was visibly enraged, and he was soon out of the holding cell for failing to persuade his son.
The next morning, the day of execution. Vaska and Judith were in an open field with their bodies tied in chains to their feet and hands.
“Klang.” the royal palace guards opened the chains that tied the bodies of the two of them.
Another name came and took Vaska and Judith's body to the middle of the field so that everyone could watch and no one dared to do that.
“Master..” Judith looked at Vaska before the execution began.
“The execution guard is now.” said King Ernesto gave the order to the bodyguard in charge of executing.
“Good noble.” an escort carrying a long sword approached Vaska by showing a sword that had been removed from its sheath.
Judith trembled at the sharp sword that would slash Vaska's body.
“Master no...” Judith looked at the royal guard standing in front of Vaska and drew out her sword. He hugged Vaksa from the side. “Judith. Remember my message.” Vaska smiled at his little girl before being executed.
“Arg... no.. !” judith shouted as she saw the sword slashing through Vaska's body beside her. “Judith...” call Vaska with bloodstained coming out of his stomach. “Mr.... !!!” judith's screams are heartbreaking. Still he shed his tears looking at the incident with deep sadness. “Mr...!” Judith hugged Vaska's bloodied body tightly.
