Early in the morning Nia had awakened Kello because her son was planning to attend the camp held by the school. Departure will start at 8 am and at this time the clock has shown at 6. It was a sign that Kello had to be prepared because if not, the number three son would be late.
"Mi, don't I have to go to camp?" Kello rubbed his eyes. The young man actually felt drowsiness and was lazy to move from the top of the bed. This was caused by her brother Arga forcing her to watch a ball game. They just went to bed at 2 a.m.
"It can't be, dong. You are from the beginning eager to join the camp. Now, you take a shower and get ready. Mommy wants to make breakfast first. Remember, wake up." Nia looked at her son firmly. The woman then stepped out of Kello's room leaving the young man still feeling sleepy.
Downstairs, Nia then heard Alana's crying voice. Soon the woman approached Alana and held her youngest daughter.
"Why cry? Want milk?" The habit of Alana when she wakes up is crying and asking for milk. It was very different from Alea who when she woke up from sleep she sat herself quietly on the sofa that led directly to the television screen. Not the cartoon he saw, but the news in the morning.
Nia spontaneously stopped her steps when she saw what Alea was watching. The woman holding Alana immediately approached Alea and picked up the remote on the table. Not saying a word, Nia immediately looked for a cartoon viewing channel that was right on watch for children of Alea's age.
"Dear Alea, Mami doesn't want to forbid Alea to watch. But, you have to watch it according to your age. Horrified Mami see you watch adult shows like this. Especially the news is all crime." Nia shook her head looking at Alea who looked calm. Nia really did not understand why her daughter could be different to most children her age.
Nia was not ungrateful to have a child like Alea. Only, the woman wants her child to behave like children in general. Do not grow up before your time.
"Yes, Mi." Alea smiled looking at her mama. The little girl then turned her gaze on the television screen but no one knew what she was thinking.
"You want some milk, too?" Nia offered to her daughter.
Alea shook her head as the answer. "You want water, Mi."
"Yes. You wait here, yeah. Mommy get water and make milk for your sister."
"Yes." Yeah." Alea nodded obediently.
The girl then quietly stared at the television screen with a flat gaze of hers. While Nia herself was already in the kitchen making milk for Alana and preparing a glass of water for Alea. After making milk and preparing water, Nia returned to the living room and handed the glass to Alea while Alana sat next to Alea.
"You two wait here first. Mommy wants to help Idah make breakfast."
"Yes, Mi." Alea nodded her head while Alana was silent with a focused look at the television screen that was featuring Tom and Jerry cartoon series that often aired in the morning.
At 7am, all the family members gathered. Including Alea and Alana.
Arga himself has a schedule this morning for a gig on a television show. Arga band and his friends have several times appeared on TV and their songs have been booming liked by many people.
"Mi, I'm home a little late today. You see, I have a schedule of gigs and lectures until the night as well," said Arga after sitting down.
"Be careful on the road. Don't bring a speeding motor. If you don't bring a car. Let all your gear be safe in the car." Nia placed a cup of coffee in front of Bima, then two glasses of milk in front of Arga and Kello. The woman then glanced at her two daughters who had their own table beside the large dining table they occupied.
Alea and Alana were both holding chicken thighs. Their faces were already drenched with oil, making Nia sigh. Luckily they haven't had a shower. If they had already taken a bath then Nia would have twice the work to bathe the two.
"Thank you, Mi." Bima smiled looking at his wife. "Mommy sat down again. We start breakfast" Bima told Nia.
"Yes, Mum." After making sure her children get their own rations, Nia then sat herself next to Bima and they began to eat breakfast casually.
After breakfast, Nia escorted the children and her husband out the door. Only after making sure they left did Nia choose to go inside.
Shortly after Nia enters, Bella's figure descends from the taxi and knocks on Nia's door. Mpok Atun who happened to intend to go to the kitchen immediately stopped his steps and opened the door for guests who came too early.
"Mr Bella?" Mpok Atun knew the figure of the woman in front of him. She was one of the close friends of the Madam of this house. So, Mpok Atun immediately asked Bella to enter with her two children.
"Mpok, is there a Nia?" Bella asked with her eyes.
"She, Ma'am. Sit first. I'll call Ms. Nia for a minute."
"Mrs, there's a meeting outside."
"Who, Mpok?" Nia looked at Mpok Atun with a questioning look.
"Mbak Bella's. He is outside now" replied Mpok Atun.
"Okay, thank you then."
After that Nia went straight to the living room where Bella was. The woman was a little surprised to find Bella with her two sons in the living room. The woman then sits next to Bella and embraces her best friend's shoulder which is like losing direction.
"Why are you, Bell? Bring all the suitcases? Keep your kids here are they not in school?"
"I decided to get out of the house and bring the kids. After all, Bisma has passed SD and is waiting for preparation for SMP registration. Asoka is still in SD. He still can for homeschooling." Bella wiped her tears. "I need a place to stay, Nia. I really want to get away from Alex. All the property I own he knows. There's no way I'd want to occupy one of my properties. I don't want Alex to find me."
Bella is confused as to where she is going after leaving Alex's house. However, his confusion was soon answered after remembering one of his friends could give him a solution. No wonder he went to Nia's house early in the morning.
"Home? I have a house. But, it still exists in this area as well. You don't mind living there?"
"But if Alex knows where it is?"
"This was my parents' house. You can stay there for a while. If you want to move out of town, we have to find a strategic place. Starting from school, where to look for household needs, and others. It's impossible if you want to just move."
Bella was silent thinking about Nia's words. The woman finally nodded in agreement with her suggestion.
Nia then got up from her seat and approached Mother Yuni to send her friend away. Nia leaves Alea and Alana first to Bu Yuni before the woman finally heads to her car parked in the garage.
Four suitcases were put in the car and then followed by Bella and her two children then Nia entered and sat behind the steering wheel.
"We're leaving now." Nia then drove her vehicle out of the courtyard of the house splitting the city streets towards her home when she was a girl.
After 10 minutes Nia came out, a car entered the courtyard of Bima's house. Alex got out of the car in a hurry and knocked on the door. The house was opened by Idah Bu who was slightly surprised by Alex's presence.
"Mom, my wife and kids are here?" Alex asked worriedly. His face looked pale while his hands trembled slightly looking at Bu Idah with full hope in his heart.
"Wives and fathers' children? They're not here. After all, Nia's mother had already left for the store. So why did your wife come here."
Ms. Idah and the others had been taught by Nia to lie to everyone who asked about Bella and her children. So, what was said by Nia earlier, repeated by Bu Idah.
"Mom sure my wife and kids aren't coming?" Alex frowned and looked at Idah trying to find a lie in his eyes.
"Yes, Sir. Ms. Nia had left early in the morning because there was a problem in her shop. My wife and kids aren't here either." Idah answered calmly. "Where are the wives and children of the fathers?"
"I don't know either." Alex answered in a doldrums. The man then told Idah to go and look for the whereabouts of his wife and children who disappeared this morning.
Alex has just woken up and has no whereabouts for his wife and children. Alex panics and searches for their whereabouts but to no avail. The man thinks Bella could be at Nia's house. Unfortunately, when it came to this house Nia actually did not exist.
Alex rubbed his face rough. Bella just misunderstood about her relationship with her childhood friend. Bella always concluded everything by herself without even asking or discussing with her. Moreover, Bella's paranoid attitude about the marriage that ended in a mess always haunts his wife's head. The trauma Bella experienced was not all gone. This made Alex more anxious. Bella never stopped coming to a psychiatrist. So this is what his wife experienced if she had never visited a psychiatrist again since a few months ago because she felt healed.
"Bella, where are you, honey? Don't make me panic" Alex said, rubbing his face rough.
The harmony of their household began to stretch since the arrival of Alex's best friend. Alex decides to stay away from his little friend. If not, this may have an impact on her relationship with Bella. Alex hopes his friend can understand his position.
