The Change of the Stepmother

Zea looked at Kenan and Kevin alternately who did not answer her questions, she was surprised to see the two were not taken care of at all.
"Did any letter come from papa here" asked Kenan in Zea's nod.
"Yes your papa took care of the divorce papers and sent them here" Zea replied.
"Where is the letter" asked Kenan looking at Zea.
"I've taken care of it just in court" Zea replied making her two shocked.
"So the letter" Kenan said, not continuing his words anymore.
"It's true that the letter is finished so we're divorced no longer have any relationship" Zea said, leaving the two silent.
"You take it easy even if your father has married I will often see you take it as my responsibility because you have promised your grandmother to take care of you" Zea continued.
"Shouldn't you be happy you're not apart from me and will soon be with the new surrogate mother, instead of her you'd rather be with her" asked Zea as they both kept quiet.
"Pardon us" Kenan said after a long silence.
"For what" asked Zea.
"All of our mistakes to you, we know our words have been outrageous" Kenan said.
"It is not necessary to discuss again everything has passed which is important now do not repeat the same mistake" Zea smiled faintly.
"Now your father and Nindi will be married, no, I hope you treat her well she will be a mother to you I'm sure she can take care of you later" Zea continued.
"He won't take care of us he just wants to take care of papa" said Kevin who opened his voice to make Zea turn.
"That's just your feeling I just saw him paying attention to you" Zea said.
"If he's paying attention to us when I'm in the hospital why he didn't come alone to see me, he just came with papa" Kevin said, making Zea speechless before answering.
"Maybe he has a job that can't be delayed, isn't he your papa's secretary at the time you were sick maybe your papa gave his job to Nindi because he took care of you too"said Zea.
"Aren't you the one who takes care of me more than the two of them" Kevin said.
"I'm looking after you because it's empty or the job is done and you're in the hospital where I work"zea's words made Kevin speechless but there was a sense of disbelief in his heart with the words of Zea because he could see how Zea took care of her and care for herself.
"We go home first" said Kevin standing up from his seat.
"No breakfast here before the pulany" asked Zea.
"At home" replied Kevin walk first.
"Alright, come here often with Alvin" Zea said to Kenan.
"Of course" Kenan replied, bringing Alvin out of the house following Kevin who first came out.
Zea stared at her third departure with a gaze asking what happened as to why they were like her changed and many more questions but she found no answer at all.
"Mother" called Alex to make Zea turn her head.
"It's over" asked Zea in Alex's nod.
"They've gone home" Alex asked.
"He's just now" replied Zea rising from her seat walking to the dining table with Alex.
"Some days they've been coming here a lot" Alex said.
"I don't know but it's like there's something important like that" Alex replied.
Zea just nodded and sat on the chair as well as Alex.
"Why haven't you eaten yet" asked Zea.
"We are waiting for you" replied Vino.
"Let's eat" Zea told them.
They all ate quietly enjoying the food that was already presented in front of them. Unlike Kevin and Kenan who are silent to think about Zea's words until they arrive home.
"You guys from anywhere it's still morning have just left" Bara asked as the third went into the house.
"We are from the mother's house" answered Alvin sitting next to Bara.
"He has taken care of the divorce papers that papa gave and the official divorce letter was out" Kenan said.
"If papa wants to get married with aunt Nindi get married but I'm going to get out of this house" Kevin said.
"I'm also we're more comfortable staying at home" said Kenan.
"You want what the hell Papa dizzy to see your behavior like this papa has obeyed your wishes and now you act again" said Bara whose voice is now rising.
"I'm sorry we're all wrong we tried from the beginning we accept maybe all this will not be like now" said Kevin slowly.
"What aunty Nindi loves" asked Kenan staring at her papa.
"Papa's already answered Ken" Bara replied.
"Well, if you want to get married, it's not a matter of getting married, but like Kevin said, we chose to stay with Zea's mother, she also allowed us to stay there if we wanted to" Kenan said.
"Why have you changed on him now" Bara said.
"Our color just realized he was like a mother who cared for and loved us sincerely,he took good care of us if time could be reworked all wouldn't be like now we'd live happily together" Kenan said, stepping his feet off leaving them back to his room.
"What do you really want is papa dizzy facing you" Bara said staring at Kevin.
"I also don't know after all this happened" Kevin said making Bara give a rough sigh.
As a single parent, she wants the best for her children,he knows he does not give affection to them because he is busy with his work as well, therefore as much as possible he obeys their wishes.
"You want her to be your mother again" Bara asked.
"Why not" replied Kevin.
"Papa thought he would not want to after all that" Bara said.
"At least try first if there is no hope anymore no problem because I also know myself with what happened because of our actions as well" said Kevin.
"Just up" Bara said.
"Papa must also try to help how he is sure to come back with us if papa is silent and does nothing" said Kevin.
"Papa can't do it" Bara said.
"Why" asked Kevin.
"Papa is afraid your mama there will be hurt papa has promised to love only then and papa also still loves your mama very much" Bara answered making Kevin speechless to hear her.
