Chapter 21 - Exceeding Ethan's Examination

Thomas who walked in front, occasionally glanced back. He looks like he's being careful. Even so, Thomas continued to step up to do his job. He takes Ethan and Megan to the research team first. There are a lot of scientists there.

"They do a lot of research to create new masterpieces. It just so happened that we wanted to be the first technology company to issue the first hologram phone. We are not only trying to create sophisticated goods, but also practical." Thomas explained when he stopped the move.

"Hmmm... So you guys just focus on the stuff?" ethan asked while holding his chin.

"To be right now. So our Biological scientists are only in charge of testing the safety of new products against humans" said Thomas. He showed a hand to one of the Biological scientists.

"What's his name?" Ethan asked again.

Megan turned. He's certainly curious, why is Ethan interested in Biological scientists? According to him, it's one of Ethan's plans for the mafia organization that he will build later.

"His name is Richard Gardner. People here often call him Richie. Why are you asking? Are you looking for a biologist?" Thomas looked at Ethan with the corner of his eye. It was not just Megan who was curious.

"Not really. I just want to know," explained Ethan briefly. Then smile thinly.

Unbeknownst to Megan, Kevin and Thomas, something is approaching from behind. He is nothing but a robot. It just so happened that Kevin could control it from a distance.

"Hello, Megan." said a voice that sounded flat but somewhat buzzing like a machine.

Megan was shocked. He felt a cold object touch his shoulder. Megan turned, along with Ethan and Thomas.

"He's Kevin's twin robot. By the way he was also named Kevin." Thomas changed his standing position next to Kevin's robot. "It looks like Kevin has taken a break from filming. Because only he can control this robot" he continued.

"You're doing a great job, Tommy." said Kevin's robot as he moved his head toward Thomas.

"Thank you, Kevin. You know I'm an expert at my job." Thomas said while fixing his collar.

Robots Kevin doesn't care. He changed his eyes to Megan. Then he said, "Kevin says he misses you..."

Megan rolled her puffed eyes. I ended up staring at Ethan. He was really lazy to deal with something emotional. Megan hates any romantic atmosphere. To him it was kind of disgusting. He prefers to live an honest and outspoken love.

"Didnavig, Megan. Answer you miss him, too" whispered Ethan. Causing Megan to immediately launch a plot. It's so good that Ethan rules so.

Megan looked at Kevin's robot. "Are you really there, Kevin?" he asked while watching the robot body made of titanium.

"Yes, I'm here. I've been watching you guys." The screen on the robot's chest suddenly showed Kevin's face. Now Megan can talk to Kevin like making a video call on a cell phone.

"You're really terrible" Thomas commented. To be honest, he felt uncomfortable with the new security created by Kevin. Thomas could no longer work freely.

"Stop, Thomas. You know what I look like. Why keep complaining" Kevin replied. Thomas spoke a thousand languages.

"Is your filming done?" ask Ethan. He stepped forward to the robot Kevin.

"Yet. We're doing a break. A few more minutes of filming will begin" Kevin replied. He slowly moved his eyeballs to look at Megan. "Why are you quiet, Megan?Not curious about how I'm doing here?" abugn.

Megan forced herself to smile. "How you doing, my boy?" megan asked in a soft tone. Making Ethan throw away his face, in order to hide his disgusted expression.

"Come, Megan. Didn't I say, don't call me boy!"kevin protests with a frown.

"Sorry. I'm used to it." Megan gave an excuse.

At an unexpected time, a danger alert alarm suddenly goes off. The light that was bright white, became chaotic due to the flickering red color.

Thomas then took the phone while rushing to find where the source of the danger was. He tells Ethan and Megan to wait.

While Kevin, busy shouting at Thomas. But his cry was not at all concerned by Thomas.

While Kevin is busy nagging, Ethan and Megan take the opportunity to leave. They leave without Kevin's robot's knowledge. Although not venturing into the company, at least Ethan already knows what products are made in The New Life Technology.

"Why are you leaving? Don't you need more information?" megan asked in amazement.

"This is enough. After all we are visitors. It would be weird if we didn't run when the alarm went off" Ethan said, clutching Megan's wrist tightly. He took Megan to the company lobby.

"Okay, but can you please let go of my hand? I can walk on my own!" Megan concluded.

Ethan releases Megan. He's a little misbehaved. Unconsciously held Megan's arm long enough.

Ethan and Megan sit in the lobby. They're waiting for Thomas to come back.

"What's your plan? You have to tell me." Megan put on a serious face mimic.

"I'll explain when we get out of here" Ethan responded.

Not long after, Thomas finally came. He looks stingy. The sweat even dripped down his temples. Quickly Thomas took a handkerchief from the pocket of the suit. He immediately wiped the sweat that was on part of the face.

"Sorry, Thomas. We had to run out because we were scared. What danger was there?" Ethan got up from the seat. Ask a clear question.

"I'm sorry. What happened was a company secret. I can't tell you," Thomas said. This time he added a friendly smile. Even if it was a forced smile.

"Its okay. Now it's better for me and Ethan to go home" Megan said, raising her strap to her shoulder.

"Don't gasp! Why don't you eat first. We've prepared a special treat at The New Life." Thomas pointed to where The New Life restaurant was located.

"Do you have a restaurant here?" Megan who doesn't believe, trying to make sure.

"Yes, our restaurant just opened. All the servants there were robots. The humans who were there were only as cooks and cashiers" Thomas explained.

"Interesting!" ethan. Then head first to the restaurant. His attitude was indeed impressed as shameless.

"Sorry, my brother always did. He greatly admired the technology-based company. Especially The New Life Technology." Megan explained awkwardly. He is forced to overcome Ethan's attitude which cannot completely cover up the original habit.

Thomas chuckles. "It's okay, I understand how a fan behaves. Come on, you better come along!" reply while stepping together with Megan.

Upon arrival at The New Life restaurant, Megan and Ethan are greeted by a friendly greeting from a robot. They were told to choose the available seats.

The New Life restaurant is very nice. The restaurant is like a picture of the future. Just like most sci-fi movies. Sophisticated, comfortable and clean.

Ethan did not expect, the state of The New Life Technology company exceeded his expectations. He felt increasingly excited about taking over the company from Kevin and Thomas.
