The Charm of the Widow

The Charm of the Widow
Being a Single Man

Unsatisfied with Thalia's answer, and eager to meet his daughter, Alexander immediately slides into Moohan's penthouse. He did not care about Sarah who was packing by bending her face. Alexander also did not say goodbye to the mother, which may be at this time the heart of Lady Grace still could not accept his decision.

Alexander drove his car at such a high speed that it did not take long, the man had arrived at the parking area of the multi-storey building. Alexander immediately spurred a step towards the elevator to ascend to the top floor. Upon arriving at the intended floor, he knocked on Thalia's residential door impatiently.

"Ale, come on in." Thalia, who opened her own door for the guest, welcomed her kindly. The beautiful woman then took Alexander to the family room, where there was a gathering of Moohan and her daughter and son, as well as the mother.

There's also Thalia's secretary there, I don't know what she's doing on holidays like this. Ameera smiled sweetly at Alexander's arrival. A man he has long admired.

"Mrs, how are you?" greet Alexander kindly while smiling at the mother-in-law of Thalia.

"Good news, Son Ale. Thank you," replied Mrs Brenda replying to Alexander's greeting with a warm smile. "How are you, son?" his question then, with the gentle gaze of a mother, made Alexander feel loved.

"I'm good too, ma'am. It's just that, there's a little problem" Alexander replied bluntly.

"Sit, Son. We can have a nice chat," asked Mrs Brenda, who already thinks Thalia's ex-husband is like family.

Before sitting down, Alexander approached the princess who was busy playing barbie with Ameera. "Hi, honey," said Alexander.

"Princess, let's hug Daddy Ale" said Moohan, who was sitting not far from the Princess holding the baby King.

Hearing Moohan mention herself as a daddy, Alexander looked at Thalia's husband. Moohan who understood the meaning of the gaze of the man who once reigned in the heart of the wife, smiled. "We should start getting used to him from a very early age, Ale. And I don't care because you're his real father."

"Daddy?" asked the Princess while looking up at Daddy Moohan, as if demanding an explanation. The little girl's expression was so cute and adorable that it made Alexander reflexively hug her.

"Yes, Honey. It's daddy, Princess has two daddies" Alexander explained later, after letting go of his embrace. The man stared in the round net of his daughter.

"Daddy. Daddy," pointed the Princess at the two handsome men and the two nodded together.

Thalia who saw all of that, was relieved. So did Mrs Brenda. He was pleased that the son was wise.

"Ale, what did you mean on the phone?" fawning Thalia after Alexander sat not far from Moohan, while holding the princess.

Thalia, who was sitting in front of the two men who held her two hearts together, smiled inwardly. There is always wisdom to be learned from every bitter incident he went through. Thalia was grateful that they were all finally able to be reunited and there was no dispute that accompanied.

"As I said earlier, Tha. Princess my daughter and I also want to give their best for her" Alexander replied while kissing the top of the princess' head, full of affection.

Happiness now emanated clearly from Alexander's sharp netra. Not like when I first came. Problems at home that did not end, making Alexander's heart feel tired. Her meeting with the biological princess at this time, had been able to treat all the fatigue she felt.

"And we continue to agree as I said earlier. Don't you, Dad?" Thalia looked at the husband and Moohan nodded in agreement.

Yes, ever since Thalia served as the number one person in the company, Ameera has helped her a lot. Ameera, who has worked for Alexander for a long time, certainly knows a lot about the company. Not infrequently, Thalia told her secretary to come to the penthouse to talk about work.

Ameera visits frequently and because of the young woman's hospitality, she likes him. Similarly, the Princess who then looks sticky with Ameera. Thalia who had known Ameera for a long time even though the two of them rarely intersected because Alexander almost never took her to the office, no problem with their closeness.

In Thalia's eyes, Ameera was a good woman. He was also in charge, proving he worked very well and was unfazed by Alexander's former assistant. Ameera remained steadfast in his stance despite the lure of much money from Lucas.

"Why, Tha? Not only you guys, I also want to make my daughter happy!" sternly Alexander, looked at Thalia and Moohan alternately.

"It's not by giving away all your property, Ale!" reply Thalia, no less resolute. "You're young, Ale. Your future is long. It could be, after this you will find someone who is suitable then you get married and have children," continued Thalia as she glanced at Ameera. Yes, Thalia already knew that Ameera had long harbored feelings for her ex-husband.

Lady Brenda who was a little more started to be able to catch the direction of their conversation, nodded her head. The graceful woman agreed with the words of the son-in-law. Madam Brenda then patted Ameera's back gently with a smile. "I wish you all the best" he whispered, making Ameera's cheeks blush.

Alexander's head bobbles. He then took a long breath. "After everything that happened, it seems like I chose to focus on taking care of Aleetha's company. I mean, the Princess company," Alexander said.

"Life must continue to be optimistic, Ale! Failing for now, doesn't mean you won't be lucky in future domestic affairs." Moohan tried to provide support for her new friend.

"What Thalia said earlier was true, Ale. If indeed you want to give shares to Princess, please go ahead because it is your obligation as a father. But not everything. Just divert some so that if you already have a new family later, they do not feel jealous of your first daughter," continued Moohan gave input.

Alexander still shook his head. "Let's know, I never thought about remarrying after this. Everyone around me has been two-faced!" The face of Thalia's ex-husband again looks upset.

"I know you're the loyal kind of man, Ale. You don't want to look at other women, even if they're always around you. So you never know that there are good women who like you long ago." Thalia glanced back at Ameera with a smile.

Hearing the words of his ex-wife, Alexander frowned. The man then chuckled. "Don't make it up, Tha. There's no woman close to me other than Aunt Maggie and Amee ...." Alexander stopped his words, his gaze then turned to the former secretary.

Alexander shook his head. "There's no way that woman is Ameera, right?" alexander asked, looking back at his ex-wife, and Thalia nodded her head.

"The woman's Ameera, Ale. She's a good woman and I'm sure of it. He's liked you for a long time, but he never tried to take you away from me, nor from Sarah. He was so self-absorbed that no one knew" Thalia explained, making Ameera bow her head because her secret had been exposed in front of her.

Alexander took a long breath. "Should I believe that in this world there are still sincere women besides you, Tha?" Alexander's voice sounded desperate.

Alexander's belief in women almost faded because the actions of people around him were not right. The mother who is greedy and wants to master all to the heart of sacrificing the happiness of Alexander. The manipulative half-brother, with Lucas, stabs him in the back. Then married to Sarah who was at her own will without ever thinking about Alexander's feelings.

"If Young Master Thompson allows it, I will prove my sincerity." The melodious voice of Ameera, decoding the reverie of Alexander. 'This time, I have to fight to be able to get you, Master, since you've returned to being a single man.'
