Meeting His Twin Brothers for the First Time

"Are you trying to make fun of me?" pissed Shara. Both of his hands were perfectly clenched. His gaze turned toward Amanda. 

"I'm not mocking you. Why should I do this to someone who is sick? Anyway I'm just trying to cheer you up." 

"I don't need any entertainment or sympathy from you! You better get out of front of me!" 

Unable to stem the anger any longer, Shara grabbed a pillow and threw it at Amanda. The woman had managed to make Shara run out of patience. Even the infusion needle stuck in Shara's right wrist had to be removed because of it. 

Shara's desperate situation is really like an entertainment for Amanda. Moreover, the woman now looked extremely frustrated. 

"Alright, I think you need a lot of rest. I'll go first." Amanda pinned the strap of the bag to the shoulder, still with a feigned expression of sadness. "I'm sorry for the accident that happened to you. If possible advice, next time if you want to drive check the condition of your car. Don't let any bad guy want to hurt you by breaking the car's brakes." 

After finishing her sentence, Amanda rushed out of the room. Inwardly laughed at Shara who was still in a state of great anger. 

When heading to the parking lot, there is a sound of cell phone ringing. Amanda reached into the bag and took out the rectangular flat object. There's a Zack name on the screen. Quickly Amanda shifted the green symbol to connect immediately. 

"Yes Zack, what's wrong?" ask Amanda. 

"Where are you now?" Zack's voice sounded full of excitement. 

"I'm still in the hospital. I just met his half-brother Emely to congratulate him on the accident that happened to him." 

Amanda's frontal remarks made Zack laugh. This is what I love most about Amanda. Brave, not whiny and straightforward. 

"Can you go to the clinic right now?" 

Amanda's forehead was thinly wrinkled at Zack's request. Didn't he just visit Emely in the clinic this morning? 

"What's wrong, Zack? Did something happen to my sister?" Amanda's voice was alarmed. 

"Emely is conscious!" 

Amanda's glued to the spot. Unknowingly, his eyeballs melted tears. He could hardly believe what he had just heard. Because this morning, Emely had not shown any sign of awakening. 

"Emely is conscious? Are you serious, Zack?" 

"Can I joke about something like this? Come quickly!" 

"Yes, okay." 

Amanda rubbed the remaining clear liquid running down the cheeks. Without waiting any longer, he accelerated his footsteps towards the car. 

Amanda felt her legs tremble as she stepped towards the special room that Emely had occupied all along. He was hesitant to meet his twin brother. Negative thoughts filled his mind. 

What if Emely doesn't accept him as a brother? Emely does not know that she has a twin sister. 

"Hey, Amanda. Why stay there?" Amanda flinched upon hearing Zack's call. He rubbed the wet end of his eyes and hid it from Zack. 

"It's okay, Zack. I was just hesitating to see Emely. I'm afraid he'll reject me." 

Zack laughed at Amanda's innocent response. This was the first time he had seen the weak side of an Amanda. 

"Who do you think doesn't want a brother? Especially if his brother is as tough as you are" persuaded Zack. "I've been telling you a few things since he kept asking questions, including about the accident." 

"Then how did he react?"

"At first he was very confused. But I managed to calm him down."

Amanda breathes a sigh of relief. "Thank you, Zack." 

"Come, meet him. I'll keep you company."

Amanda nodded. Slowly the woman ventured into Emely's room. As soon as the door opened, her tears broke again to see her twin sister lying on the bed. Emely looked still weak with a pale face. Besides, his gaze looks cute. Amanda hugged him. 

"Emely, this is Amanda. The man I told you about." Zack opens the sound. 

Emely's gaze examined Amanda from toe to head. He can see himself in Amanda in a very different way. Much prettier, unlike her ugly self. 

"This doctor says you're my brother. Is that true?" omit Emely. His voice was still very weak, so Amanda had to close her ears to hear his words to sound clear. 

"That's right," Amanda replied a little hesitantly.

"He also told me that you saved me from the accident."

Amanda nodded in response. His tongue felt stiff to say a single word.

All he did was hug Emely tightly in tears.
