"We're just friends, Emely. There's nothing more" Amanda said, trying to hide a red tinge on her cheek. "Again, I'm a nobody. Zack is a doctor. Although she's a little geeky, but I think she can get a decent woman." 

"But you are worthy and fit perfectly with him." 

The redder Amanda's cheeks. Until now Zack was just an ordinary friend to him, but for whatever reason his heart always warmed up if close to the man, or just talk about it. 

"I see Doctor Zack likes you too" Emely added. 

"You must have seen it wrong. Zack treats everyone the same." 

Emely simply replied with a smile. After seeing Amanda's reaction, he is convinced that between Zack and Amanda there is a hidden love. Maybe Emely should do something to help both. Because right now Zack and Amanda look like they're playing with cats.

Two months passed .... 

Life continues normally. Emely has shown a lot of progress, although he still has to sit in a wheelchair because his legs have not fully recovered.

Thanks to Amanda and Zack's encouragement, he slowly begins to recover from the trauma of an accident some time ago. He also underwent routine psychotherapy.

And today, Emely ventured to present as a witness as well as a victim at Glen's first trial. 

The presence of Emely also made Glen shocked and almost in disbelief. Because Glen saw his own car driven by Emely freefall and drift into the river. He was convinced that Emely could not have survived the accident, let alone that his car was badly damaged when lifted from the riverbed. 

"Gir ... The real emely is alive?" Glen glanced at his seat. 

Looking at Glen who looked extremely surprised, Emely glanced at him. 

"Why, Glen? You're surprised because I'm alive?" emely said, reviewing a thin smile. "You didn't expect that your efforts in eliminating me would fail, did you?"

That instant also Glen's face paled, his body trembling. Emely who is currently still sitting in a wheelchair feels very different. His gaze lit up emitting anger and resentment. No longer a cowardly figure who always stutters when talking. 

"Prepare for the punishment of all your sins. To me, and to my father."

Glen lowered his head. Nor does he reply to every scathing word Emely.

Throughout the trial, Glen had to be several times shocked because all the evidence of his crimes with Shara and Ms. Liana was uncovered irrefutable.

It never occurred to Glen that Amanda and Zack were able to gather all the smallest pieces of evidence. Moreover, the presence of Emely who became a witness to the victim of his crime.

Now Glen must get ready with the possibility that the court will impose a severe sentence and maybe he will spend the rest of his life behind bars.

Both Amanda and Emely were able to breathe a sigh of relief after attending the trial earlier. Everything went smoothly without any meaningful resistance from Glen. Now it is just waiting for the verdict from the court.

However, Amanda was not fully relieved, because Shara was still not found. Up to two months of searching, Shara's whereabouts are still a mystery. He disappeared like he swallowed the Earth. 

That afternoon ....

Amanda was enjoying her downtime when her cell phone rang. For a moment the woman's attention was distracted on the mobile phone screen. Zack's name is on there.

"Hello Zack!" said Amanda shortly after the call was connected.

"Hi Amanda's. Are you busy tonight?" ask the man without further ado.

"No. Why?"

"I'm in need of your help. And I think only you can help me with this."

Amanda's eyebrows knit together to hear Zack's words. Zack never asked Amanda for help. Even Amanda was the one who always asked for her help.

"What help?" ask Amanda for a little bit of curiosity.

"Help with me tonight!"

"A company? Where to?"

"I can't say on the phone. You'll know later. But if you can make it beautiful, yes." 

"Why do you have to be beautiful?"

There Zack breathed a long breath. Either Amanda is less sensitive or her less frontal self.

"You'll know later. Remember, just come alone. Mauren will come to pick you up later." 

Just as Amanda's mouth was about to open, the tone of the call ended was already heard.

"It's so weird."
