"You're daydreaming, huh?" ask Amanda. 

Zack just smiled and tried to hide the red hue on the cheek. Want to hide where his face if it is discovered Amanda is thinking about strange things.

"I'm sorry, my mind is somewhere else." 

"What are you thinking?"

"My patient. He's got a very rare disease and there's no cure."

"What disease?"

"He's too sweet and there's no antidote in any hemisphere." Zack laughed, making Amanda pinch her arm.

He took out the baked bread and put it on the plate. In addition to Amanda, Zack also made it for Emely. 

"Come, we'll have breakfast first." 

"But you haven't answered my question yet." 

Looks like Zack failed to shift Amanda's focus on last night's events. The man was silent for a moment, as if looking for a reasonable excuse. There was no way he could tell in detail about last night's events. Because Amanda might be suspicious of him. 

"Evening heard the news that there was a bad incident in the house. That's why I came to make sure what happened. For fear of something dangerous happening, so I'm taking you away."

A pair of Amanda's eyebrows intertwined together to form an arrow bow. He has not yet come to any conclusion from Zack's remarks. 

"What's really bad?" 

"I don't know exactly either. All I know is that Shara stabbed her mother with a kitchen knife because she thought it was you." 

Amanda jerks. The bottle of mineral water in his hand fell to the floor. "What happened to the old lady?" 

"He died at the hands of his own daughter."

"I can't believe this. How could Shara kill her own mother?" said Amanda, when she was able to restore her common sense that had disappeared.

"Where do I know. It looks like Shara is a psychopath. He's killed Mr. Gabriel before and doesn't rule out the possibility that he could kill anyone" Zack said, still with a face that pretended not to know.

Amanda is still not finished thinking, how she can fall asleep, even though there is a bad incident in the house. And strangely enough, he woke up and was already in Zack's private house.

"You're not kidding, are you, Zack?"

"If you don't believe it, you can see the news on TV or the internet. It seems like the news of this murder is already being talked about a lot." 

Amanda breathed a long breath. "How can I sleep so soundly? And how did you bring me here?"

"I've woken you a few times. But you slept like a buffalo, so I carried you out." 

If not in a state of surprise, Amanda would have grabbed the hair of Zack who had likened himself to a buffalo. But, right now what was on his mind was just an overnight incident.

"Then what happens next? What about Shara and Glen?"

"Just calm down, they're both secured by the police. Now I'm undergoing an examination. I have also handed over all the evidences of their crimes that you have collected. So they'll definitely be punished severely." 

Amanda nodded in understanding. However, there were still things that felt quite awkward to him. How can Zack always know the precarious things that even he is unaware of? He gave a full look at the doctor. 

"Zack, how can you do all this? If you don't know that you're a doctor, maybe ...."  

"Of course I'm just a doctor. What do you think I am?" cut Zack fast, before Amanda thinks badly of him.

"I was thinking that you were the superhero incarnation in the movies that always came on time" he said with a laugh. Amanda was no longer aware of the look of Zack's face that had changed, even though Amanda's speech was just a joke. 

"If you knew who I really was, you'd be scared and definitely stay away from me."
