The Darkness Metal Manipulation

The Darkness Metal Manipulation
Chapter 24's

"Everything stops!" Shouted the knight who led the group on horseback.

The entire army of knights stopped their horses from following the voice earlier. There was no sound from the knights, there was only the sound of horses stopping and birds flying.

The knight leader was in golden armor in contrast to the other knights, and there was one more person who was in the same armor as him. Someone who was staring right at me.

While the knight leader was looking at everyone in our group, then his gaze stopped on someone, the blue-eyed blonde lady.

The leader of the knights looked at him in a few seconds, he then got off the horse and walked in front of the blond woman.

"I'm glad to see you're okay, Miss Alice." Said the leader while bowing knightly style. "And forgive me for not being able to help you in time." The next one is sluggish.

All the knights who saw their leader bowed, directly descended and followed him.

"I'm sorry for not being able to save you, Miss Alice!" Shouted all the knights simultaneously.

Children feel amazed and afraid, while people who are given hunchbacks and words of forgiveness just keep looking at it. As if it was common to him, it was also true for the noble ladies behind him.

The knight who was looking at me earlier approached the person named Alice, she was carrying a kind of pure white robe with the same emblem on her back.

"Thank you, Beatrice." Said Alice wearing the robe she gave her.

"Together, miss." Reply to the knight who was called Beatrice while half bowing.

"Thank you to my knights who were willing to come all the way here just for me." Alice exclaimed that could be heard by everyone who was there.

"I forgive you, because this is not your fault. It was my carelessness that made this happen and I'm sorry for making you all worry." Alice lowered her head.

The knights who saw their lady lowered their heads apologized for being panicked and excited, including the knight leader earlier.

"Miss! Miss doesn't have to apologize, we don't deserve it. Please, raise your head!" Said the knight leader in panic.

Alice raised her head looking at the knight leader. "Thank you uncle Albert." Smiling words.

"Sama-sama. So who are they all?" Ask the knight leader named Albert to see the women and children.

"They are the prisoners held with me. Uncle, I need you to help them. So that they can return to their families or give them shelter in our area, for other orphans." Alice exclaimed at all the women and children.

Albert silently heard Alice's words, then said. "Yes, my lady, your orders will be carried out." Albert cupped his hands to his chest.

"Thank you Uncle. And Beatrice? Can you give me some clothes or clothes to cover their bodies?." Excited Alice.

"Yes, I'll prepare." He said, the same as Albert he cupped his hands in his chest.

Beatrice took some clothes in her dimensional bag, then gave them to the women and children. I just kept watching everything happen, until the knight named Beatrice stared intently at me again.

"Miss? Who is this masked man? He doesn't look like a sandra from a bandit?" He said to Alice while looking at me.

"He is the master who helped us. By the way, I don't know your name yet? Would you like to mention your name?." Alice asked that made everyone look at me.

'I was once again a spectacle. It seems like my career as a hunter is over and replaced as the mascot clown that everyone sees. Shit..." Blasphemy in my heart.

"...Didn't I tell you! Forget me and live your lives. If you forget that, I hope you don't forget something else I told you all?." I cried in a high voice like a child.

I changed my voice with nowhere to avoid being caught by everyone. Actually it's too late because all the prisoners already know my face and good looks.

I just realized to cover up my identity when I knew what I was going to do to those women and children.

'so let what has happened happen let it happen. Now just get out of here.' I thought.

Alice who heard what I said lowered her head and the other women were stunned in shock given what I had previously said.

Albert and Beatrice were astonished to see the expressions of their miss and the other women, as if they were remembering a terrible thing. Since the helmets they were wearing had already come off, their shocked faces were clearly visible.

Albert looks like Kenneth, he has some wounds on his face and is around his 40s. Beatrice, a woman in her 25s, has long brown hair that blows in the wind as she opens her helmet.

"What's going on?" Albert muttered seeing everything.

"s.nona? Why are you looking down?" Beatrice said worriedly.

They were very worried about their lady's situation and were astonished at what was happening. Then Beatrice looked at me with her sharp gaze.

"A...what have you done to our lady?" Beatrice snapped with her high tone.

Everyone immediately looked at the voice, including Alice who was looking down. The children were shocked, the women were worried that something would happen and for Alice and Albert, they looked at him with strange expressions.

"Beatrice! Why do you say that to my savior?" Excited Alice.

"But miss! Looking at the expression of such a miss and her who looked very suspicious. I'm afraid nothing happened before we met?" Beatrice was worried.

"I know what you're thinking, Beatrice. But, that doesn't change anything. It is this master who has saved us." Said Alice looking and pointing at all the women and children.

"But miss..." Bela Beatrice stutters.

"Beatrice! You relax. Miss has just experienced something bad in her life, you have to understand her current feelings." Albert mediates them. "As the lady said, she is the savior of the sandras. Is this your attitude toward someone who saved Miss Alice's life." Further.

"It's not so Uncle. I'm just worried lady why-why!" Beatrice said as she lowered her head.

"I'm worried too. But, the most important thing now is that Miss Alice is okay. So save your worries when we get home." Albert cried soothingly.

"Good Uncle." Beatrice said according to.
